Now reading: Chapter 628 - 502 ’Rumor Belt from Isekai Adventure in the Dimensional Cube, a Sci-fi novel by Confiding Pixie.

As an objective fact, Morgan, Gawain, Lancelot, and Tristan were undoubtedly the enemies of Reiger and Altoria.

Even if Altoria hadn’t embarked on the path of a savior, hadn’t tried to save the Fairy Country or rescue Britain, she would still inevitably be seen as a rival, as an enemy by those sent by the queen.

The sa was true for Reiger, who had already developed connections with Morgan and others, experiencing several conflicts and major wars; they were essentially at odds with each other.

Yet, in such circumstances, Reiger felt that these enemies were much better than other fairies.

Although Morgan was a terrifying dictator, cold and cruel, viewing the lives of fairies in Fairy Country as disposable, for so reason, she valued Reiger highly and even conferred special protection on him, planting a "stake" in him.

Even though Gawain fought Reiger to the point of bloodshed and near death twice, she was indeed a very competent lord, considering her allies with great thoroughness, and only being cold and rciless towards her enemies.

Although Lancelot was quite aloof and proud, her character wasn’t lacking in naive and pure aspects, and at least for now, she dealt with Reiger openly and without scheming, making her hard to hate.

Even Tristan, the cruel Elf Knight, had a particularly pitiful past that led him to beco what he was.

Compared to these enemies, those fairies who outwardly interacted amicably with Reiger and Altoria might actually be the true evil.

Such as the fairies in Tintagel Village, who raised Altoria from childhood; theoretically, they should be the closest to Altoria, but their true nature need not be further discussed.

The fairies who longed for the ergence of a prophesied child, a savior, hoping for redemption acted the sa, welcoming the prophesied child with righteous words, but their true intentions remained unknown to everyone.

Fairies aren’t worth saving, this had always been Reiger’s belief.

But those who had beco enemies each had aspects that were different from other fairies, which when ntioned, indeed seed quite ironic.

"So..."

Altoria sowhat understood Reiger’s thoughts. Despite her complex feelings, she still asked aloud,

"How should we face Aurora?"

Regarding Altoria’s question, Reiger responded without any hesitation,

"Regardless of whether she is trustworthy or not, she wants to overthrow Morgan’s rule, that’s probably the truth, right?"

Upon hearing this, Altoria nodded without hesitation.

"That’s the truth," Altoria then said, "She indeed wants to overthrow Morgan’s rule, she didn’t lie about that."

Because of this, when Aurora appeared before her, claiming she wanted to help her and assist in rescuing Reiger, Altoria hardly hesitated before agreeing.

Even if Aurora was hiding so of her motives, as long as her true goal was to overthrow the queen’s rule, then on the matter of rescuing the "Prophesied Child," the other party wouldn’t hold back and would definitely provide substantial help.

Thus, Altoria accepted Aurora’s aid.

"Since this is true, we’ll leave her be for now," Reiger said as he continued walking, speaking to Altoria, "Before achieving her goal, she should probably not harm us."

"So, let’s rest for now. If necessary, we can also accept her help."

"Not to ntion, the intelligence network of the Wind Clan is quite useful; with them, we at least don’t have to worry about a lack of information."

Though he said this, Reiger’s tone clearly seed to find this interchangeable.

That was expected, wasn’t it?

"She misunderstood our identity and our purpose, thinking we wanted to ring the Six Pilgrimage Bells and then go overthrow Morgan."

"Little does she know, I... or rather, you, haven’t even planned on truly resisting Morgan to the end."

"This misinformation, we can actually use it to our advantage."

Aurora thought Reiger and Altoria were heading to confront Morgan, to overthrow her rule, but she was unaware that this premise was entirely wrong.

Reiger and Altoria had never considered overthrowing Morgan’s rule from the start.

So, while Aurora thought the two would take actions for this cause, whatever her calculations were, they would be off the mark.

Reiger and Altoria then had the privilege of being unpredictable, which was their greatest advantage.

When Reiger stated this, Altoria focused on another point,

"Did she really get our identities wrong?" Altoria carefully observed Reiger, saying, "Are you really not a Foreign Magician?"

"No," Reiger rolled his eyes, saying, "I can probably guess what you’re thinking, but still, I need to tell you, the Foreign Magician you are referring to is soone else."

"Who?" Altoria perked up, even going so far as to say, "Does this have to do with the pan-human history ntioned by Morgan and Aurora?"

Suddenly, Reiger stopped walking.

Altoria quickly stopped as well.

"You’ve noticed that, huh?" Reiger turned around, looked at Altoria, and said sowhat admiringly, "Indeed, you seem smarter than anyone might have imagined."

... You an I normally seem dumb, right?
