Upon hearing the words, Lipum hadn’t reacted yet, when Liz silently glanced at Reiger.

"I don’t mind at all," Lipum said with a smile, "I adore strong n the most. As long as you’re strong enough, I welco whatever you want to do to ."
As she spoke, Lipum cast a flirtatious glance at Reiger.
This woman’s beauty is quite alluring, and even though her tone is rough, with her good looks, she can easily entice those innocent young boys, who surely wouldn’t be able to resist.
Unfortunately, this woman has no idea what kind of girls Reiger usually interacts with.

Lipum was also quite a famous figure in Sinclair.

Her brother was the leader of one of the largest rcenary companies in Sinclair, the Play Magician, and a magician whose strength was no less than that of a seasoned True Swordsman. As such, she was seen as untouchable in Sinclair, and nobody dared to bully her needlessly.
Because of her brother’s indulgence, Lipum was accustod to being reckless and often frequented places that other girls would not dare to enter freely. She mingled with rcenaries and assassins, getting into fights, feasting lavishly, and fraternizing with figures others would find intimidating, making her a mudslide among beauties.
Therefore, many thought this woman had tasted too many n to count, otherwise her behavior wouldn’t be so wild.
Who would have thought that she was actually inexperienced?

The followers who knew of Lipum’s usual antics cursed under their breath in the shadows.
Lipum felt like she had just suffered a social death and couldn’t help but glare at Reiger.
"What nonsense are you spouting?" Lipum said loudly, "How could I possibly be inexperienced?"
Reiger chuckled inwardly.
Even though his comnt was offhanded, seeing Lipum’s reaction, Reiger knew he had guessed correctly.
"Alright, miss who is not inexperienced," Reiger folded his arms and said calmly, "What exactly are you planning by following us?"
"I..." Lipum wanted to sweet-talk a bit, but seeing Reiger’s calm deanor, she suddenly deflated, shoulders slumping as she said, "I want to make a deal with you."
Upon hearing this, Liz froze in place, and those hiding in the dark also beca all ears.
However, Reiger replied,
"No, no need." Reiger rejected outright, saying, "We don’t have anything worth trading."
Lipum was flabbergasted.
"You won’t even listen to what the deal is about?"
Lipum hastily interjected.
"Is there a need to listen?" Reiger remained impassive, "Although I don’t know what you want us to do, the bargaining chip you plan to use for the trade must be that so-called forbidden information ntioned in the tavern, right?"
Lipum was choked up.
"Did I guess right again?" Seeing her reaction, Reiger smiled faintly and said, "Indeed, you overheard the question I asked that server in the tavern, knowing that I’m searching for the relic listed as forbidden. Since that’s the case, you coming out of the blue to propose a trade with a stranger you’ve just t today naturally ans the information about the forbidden is the chip you believe I’m interested in."
"Sadly, you made one mistake."
"While I desire this information, I don’t believe it’s sothing extrely difficult to obtain."
"Even without you, I have other ways to get the information. Why should I get involved in sothing that clearly spells trouble?"
Reiger spoke with a nonchalant air.
"Unfortunately, you’ve approached the wrong person for a deal."
With that, Reiger turned on his heel and walked away without a hint of attachnt.
Liz followed closely behind, equally unhesitant.
"Wait a minute!"
Lipum, however, was in a hurry and quickly caught up.
"Let’s talk this over, we can negotiate the paynt."
Lipum reached Reiger.
Reiger paid no attention to Lipum and, with Liz, continued to walk forward.
Those shadowing them exchanged glances and persisted in their pursuit.
Lipum’s voice rose incessantly, reverberating around them.
"This really isn’t anything troubleso, it’s just about joining forces with to go to a certain place, that’s all."
"If you agree, I’ll imdiately tell you the taboo of Sinclair."
"I’m taking a big risk here, you know? Anything related to that ruin has been forbidden by the City Lord to discuss or even ntion. If soone is found spreading rumors, even I would be targeted by the Oasis Knights."
"A few years ago, the City Lord even had the Oasis Knights capture those who spread forbidden information throughout the city, and they were severely punished. The more serious offenders were even executed."

Lipum spoke unendingly in an attempt to sway Reiger’s mind.
The Oasis Knights she referred to are Sinclair’s Order Maintainers, personally trained and selected by the City Lord.
It is said that every Oasis Knight has received the True Knight dal and possesses formidable strength, having slain countless outlaws who challenged the order of Sinclair.
It is because of them that Sinclair has managed to maintain a semblance of order and peace, preventing the underground forces and operatives from being too reckless.
They are not only the City Lord’s blade but also his ears and eyes, tasked with guarding Sinclair and reporting all aspects of information to the City Lord.
The owner behind the Sunset Tavern has ties with the City Lord, and for Reiger to casually ntion forbidden subjects there, it’s only a matter of ti before the City Lord and the Oasis Knights hear of it.
Among those secretly following Reiger and Liz, there might well be individuals from the tavern or officials from Sinclair.
Despite the situation being so clear, Reiger still ignored Lipum’s persuasions, leaving Liz at a loss for words, and thus, she remained silent.

"Boom..."
Suddenly, a roaring sound ca from afar, causing flashes of light to appear in a remote area on the outskirts of Sinclair.
Reiger imdiately halted his stride.
"Damn it! Has it already started...!?"
Lipum’s expression changed, and after cursing, she stopped urging Reiger and ran towards the location of the flas.
"What is that?"
"I don’t know..."
"Is it another clash between rcenary groups or underground forces?"
"Forget about it, it’s not the first ti anyway."
The passerby and those secretly following Reiger discussed among themselves, evidently not surprised by the sudden occurrence.
"...Liz."
Reiger glanced over there and then spoke up.
"Let’s go take a look."
Naturally, Liz had no objections.
The two imdiately headed towards the source of the firelight.
Their first night in this place was clearly not going to be a peaceful one.
