She might be mischievous, but her loyalty to those she recognizes as pack is always beyond reproach.

…
"Aok!"
Run!
From the second floor, Charlie let out the most thunderous cry of her life to warn her sisters. In this mont, she seed entirely revitalized, showing none of the weakness of a dying creature.
She bolted forward, launching herself from the balcony and soaring through the air toward the Indoraptor that held Blue in its jaws.
"ROAR—"
She slamd her claws into the Indoraptor's flank. Under the sheer force of the impact, the Indoraptor was knocked off balance. It let out an agonized howl, releasing Blue as it went tumbling across the floor.
Charlie clung to the Indoraptor with grim determination, her claws carving deep furrows into its hide. Even as the Indoraptor's massive weight crushed her against the ground during the tumble, she refused to let go.
Crack… crack…
They crashed into the skeletal display of a large sub-adult herbivore, sending bones flying. Shards of fossilized bone pierced through the skin of both the Indoraptor and Charlie as they rolled.
"ROAR—"
Infuriated, the Indoraptor scrambled to its feet, thrashing its body to shake Charlie off. But she clung to him like a burr that couldn't be pried away.
Left with no choice, the monster began slamd itself repeatedly against the wall. After three violent impacts, it finally managed to dislodge her.
It lunged at her with feral intensity, tearing into Charlie's body and throat, ending her life right then and there.
The Indoraptor turned back, finding the other three Velociraptors gone. They seed to have heeded Charlie's command and chosen to flee...
"Aok!"
Another sharp Raptor cry echoed from the second floor, snapping the Indoraptor's attention upward.
It broke into a trot, its claws clattering as it scaled the DNA-shaped spiral staircase. In a few bounds, it reached the second floor, but found no sign of the Raptors.
"Aok!"
The cry rang out again. The Indoraptor spun around and spotted Blue, her flanks matted with blood, standing at the far corner of the square zzanine, taunting him.
"ROAR—"
The monster didn't even bother with the walkway; it vaulted over the railing, leaping across the gap to the right-hand corridor to close the distance to Blue.
But just then, two other Raptors lunged from a dark corridor it hadn't seen. They leaped high, kicking out with both feet. The force of the strike sent the Indoraptor plumting off the second floor while the Raptors landed safely back on the walkway.
Thud!
The fall drove the bone shards deeper into the Indoraptor's flesh. Its palm let out a sickening crack as it hit the floor, buckling under the weight.
"Aok?" Did we do it?
"Aok!" Not yet!
To the Indoraptor's ears, the Raptors' vocalizations sounded like a mocking jeer. It forced itself upright once more, hissing at the three Raptors above.
The battle was far from over.
…
"Hey, hey, hey!"
Owen, who was leading Franklin and Zia toward the exit, skidded to a halt as he saw soone at the other end of the corridor.
Dr. Wu had discovered a pile of corpses and cautiously chose a detour toward the control room, leading him straight into the trio.
"Owen? I thought you died on the island."
"You."
Owen drew himself up, staring Wu down. "You've created another monster."
He strode forward, looking very much like a man about to deliver a solid punch to Wu's face.
Yet, Dr. Wu showed no sign of fear. Instead, he frowned and countered with a sharp rebuke.
"I don't make the sa mistake twice. This ti, I prepared counterasures to handle it."
Was this a scientist's obsession? Even when soone is about to hit you, you have to correct their errors first?
This effectively made Owen pause. After all, neutralizing the Indoraptor was currently the absolute highest priority.
"What counterasures?" Owen asked, stopping five ters away.
Dr. Wu hesitated for a mont, then gripped the specialized signal flare in his coat.
"You three should evacuate. I will deal with my problematic creation."
"I'm not leaving my Raptors behind again!"
Last ti at Jurassic World, he had left the pack to fight the Indominus rex while he evacuated the children. He wouldn't do it a second ti.
"The Raptors? They didn't die in the explosion?"
"Ao-roar—"
The Indoraptor's voice echoed from the floors above. Though muffled by the architecture, its rage was palpable.
Dr. Wu looked up, hesitating for a few more seconds.
"It seems your Raptors are engaging it... in that case, take this."
Owen caught the signal flare Wu tossed to him. It looked like any other flare, save for a slightly more polished casing.
"What is this?"
"A specialized flare of my own design. It releases a pulse-coded pheromone that causes the Indoraptor to lose all reason and charge toward it at any cost."
Wu shifted his gaze from the ceiling back to Owen, his expression dead serious.
"Regardless of what is in its path or what is around it, it will strike this flare. It can save your life in an ergency... or, if used correctly, it can kill the creature."
Owen looked at the flare in his hand. When he looked up again, Dr. Wu had already sidestepped him, heading toward the direction from which they had co.
"I originally intended to use it from the basent, but now... perhaps you need it more."
"Aok-roar—"
Another Raptor call echoed from above, though it sounded fainter and more distant than the Indoraptor's roar.
Owen took a deep breath and sprinted toward the sound. The two n moved in opposite directions.
"Who are we supposed to follow?!"
Caught in the middle, Franklin looked back and forth between Owen and Wu.
Based on their conversation, Owen was going to fight a monster, and Dr. Wu was walking right into a nest of dinosaurs. Both options felt like a death sentence.
"You idiot! Both of them are crazy! Let's get the hell out of this manor!"
Zia smacked Franklin on the back of the head, cutting to the heart of the matter. She grabbed him and bolted for the nearest ergency exit.
…
Toxic gas began to spread. Thick clouds of yellowish mist escaped the ruins of the lab, rolling across the floor and cascading down toward the lower levels of the wire-sh walkways.
The nearby Triceratops mother and calf noticed the acrid stench. They backed away from the bars, pressing themselves tightly against the far wall of their enclosure.
"ROAR—"
Carlo realized sothing was wrong. He let out a booming roar, calling out to his family.
"Roar—"
Only Kafka responded. The parents, Katyusha, and Karl were still deep in a drug-induced slumber.
Carlo paced anxiously, wanting to stand up but finding the ceiling too low. He hunkered back down.
Even if he smashed through the bars now, it wouldn't matter. As long as the rest of the pack didn't wake up, he could tear the whole villa down and they'd still be trapped.
"Roar—"
Boss, use the thing.
"Roar?" The thing?
Kafka's voice drifted over, snapping Carlo back to reality.
"Roar—"
The stuff that makes you roll around on the ground after you use it.
Oh, the embarrassing mory! Don't look, everyone!
