Uzumaki Shuji controlled the Chains of Heaven, restraining them as the golden ripples behind him illuminated the entire area. "Mana consumption is getting a bit high… I can't drag this out any longer. I'll kill Danzo and leave imdiately." He remained standing where he was, while all incoming attacks were completely blocked by the Chains of Heaven. Seeing that ninjutsu and projectiles were ineffective and that they couldn't get close, the Root operatives imdiately switched tactics and threw out poison gas bombs without hesitation. Over a dozen gas bombs detonated at once. Uzumaki Shuji had no Wind Release to disperse them, so he could only retreat from the area. A Gate of Babylon portal opened beneath his feet, and a chain surged upward, lifting him into the air like a giant serpent supporting him from below.
Danzo Shimura frowned as he watched Uzumaki Shuji's movents. "Is that… Adamantine Sealing Chains?" He had personally witnessed the Uzumaki clan use that technique before, but sothing about this felt off. There were far too many chains, and they weren't erging from the user's body. Instead, they appeared from midair or even from the ground. Still, among all known techniques, only the Adamantine Sealing Chains resembled this ability. And after he revealed the truth about the Uzumaki clan, the opponent's anger made it hard to believe he wasn't one of them.
"Danzo-sama! The enemy is extrely strong. That technique has too many chains and cannot be destroyed. Should we call for reinforcents?" Fū Yamanaka asked. Although this was a base, Root still had duties elsewhere. A large portion of their forces was currently assigned to monitoring the Uchiha clan. Less than thirty percent remained here, and casualties were already significant. If this continued, the situation would only worsen.
"No need. You join the attack as well. Finish him quickly," Danzo replied coldly. He believed the opponent would eventually tire. Even with Uzumaki vitality, such intense consumption couldn't last long. And he was right. Uzumaki Shuji had already consud over a thousand mana. If he continued, eliminating all these enemies would cost nearly half his reserves. For soone who wasn't planning to fight to the bitter end, dragging things out wasn't an option.
Golden ripples appeared beside Uzumaki Shuji. He reached in and pulled out a massive key. "Reveal yourself… Ea." He raised the key toward the sky. Dark red magical circuits erupted instantly, spreading outward in countless branching lines like a massive tree. The sight alone shocked everyone below. They had never seen anything like it, yet for so reason, it filled them with an instinctive sense of dread.
"Don't let him use it!" Danzo shouted, his voice urgent. For reasons he couldn't explain, a deep sense of danger rose within him. If that attack was unleashed, sothing terrible would happen.
All the Root operatives moved at once. Ninjutsu and weapons rained down in an attempt to stop Uzumaki Shuji. But he knew he couldn't allow them to get close. Countless Chains of Heaven appeared around him, forming a dense defensive barrier that blocked every incoming attack. At this mont, the chains were used entirely for defense.
A sharp humming sound echoed as Ea began to spin. Its three segnts rotated in opposing directions, generating a formless force that gradually took shape. "Damn it! What are you all doing? Wind Release: Vacuum Great Sphere!" Danzo could no longer wait. Seeing his subordinates unable to break through the dense chains, he took action himself. He inhaled deeply, his chest expanding, then expelled a high-pressure sphere of wind like a cannon blast toward Uzumaki Shuji, who stood atop the chains in midair.
The attack struck, but ten Chains of Heaven ford a wall that split it apart, completely nullifying the technique before it could reach him. "Are you ready for judgnt, Danzo?" Uzumaki Shuji's expression turned cold. "At the mont of judgnt, this sword will tear apart the world itself. Take this—Enuma Elish!" Without hesitation, he swung Ea downward.
Red, spiraling energy erupted instantly, bursting outward with overwhelming force. The impact far surpassed that of any Water Release, crashing into everything below. Trees were shredded apart in an instant, blown away and scattered like debris, slamming into those who couldn't dodge in ti. But that was only the beginning. Space itself cracked open. Though the fissure was small, it carried the power to ignore all defenses. Any Root operative touched by it was instantly split in two or swallowed entirely.
"What is this?!" Danzo turned and fled without hesitation. Seeing the destruction behind him, his eyes widened in fury and shock. These were the elite forces he had painstakingly cultivated, and now they were being wiped out in monts.
"Die, Danzo!" Uzumaki Shuji poured more mana into Ea, expanding the area of destruction. The ground trembled violently, and the shockwaves spread across the entire village. Many who had experienced the Nine-Tails Attack on Konoha were jolted awake from their sleep, seized by a familiar sense of terror.
