The red, spiraling energy exploded outward violently. Uzumaki Shuji clearly saw Danzo Shimura being struck by the attack, but he had no ti to confirm whether the man had died. The commotion was simply too massive. His remaining mana was only a little over three thousand—far from enough to unleash another Enuma Elish. Without hesitation, Uzumaki Shuji chose to retreat. Activating his Blink Dagger, he vanished from the spot instantly.

"That tremor… Could it be he made his move today?" Fugaku Uchiha was jolted awake by the shockwave. His mind imdiately jumped to his eting with Uzumaki Shuji earlier that day. There was little he could do to assist directly. The Uchiha Police Force had been under constant surveillance by the Anbu, and recently the scrutiny had beco even more excessive. Any real support was impossible. He had assud the Uzumaki clan would act in a few days. He hadn't expected them to strike so soon. "So even if I hadn't agreed today, the Uzumaki wouldn't have waited much longer…" he muttered, completely misunderstanding the situation. He quickly changed into his gear, preparing to investigate and, if possible, offer even the slightest help. Even interfering with the Anbu would be sothing.

The entire village was mobilized. Hiruzen Sarutobi was forced out of bed and rushed to the Hokage building. "What happened? Do we have a report?" he asked the Anbu standing in his office. "Hokage-sama, Root has been attacked near the Forest of Death. On the way there, we discovered over a dozen corpses belonging to Root operatives. Others are already heading to investigate. However, we haven't received any communication from Root, so the situation is still unclear," the Anbu reported urgently. "Imdiately seal off the Forest of Death. Put the entire village on alert. And… assign twenty n to monitor the Police Force. Don't interfere with them, just record everything they do." After giving the orders, Hiruzen hesitated briefly before deciding to keep a close eye on the Uchiha. "Yes, sir!" The Anbu vanished in a Body Flicker to carry out the commands.

Hiruzen stood by the window, looking at the village now lit up as if it were dayti. His brows furrowed deeply. The Uchiha were becoming increasingly troubleso. Only when he reached ho did the Anbu assigned to protect the brothers feel sothing slightly off. Naruto, however, slept deeply. His daily training had been intense—tree climbing and water walking were far from easy for a new academy student. His exhaustion ensured Uzumaki Shuji's return went unnoticed.

"Chunin points: 4600. Jonin points: 3000. Fū Yamanaka: 10,000 points. No Danzo…" Uzumaki Shuji checked the system notifications and confird the result. Danzo had survived. Ten thousand points was already significant—ten tis that of a standard jonin—but there was no reward for Danzo. If he had been killed, it would have been at least fifty thousand points. "Lucky bastard. He probably won't have ti to bother for a while now." There was nothing more he could do. If he had stayed any longer, escaping would have been nearly impossible. He wasn't a trained ninja—stealth and escape weren't his strengths unless he spent more points on gear, which felt wasteful. There would be more opportunities. "Just over a thousand points away from 150,000… not bad. If only I could farm like this every day…" Compared to beating up academy kids after school, this was far more satisfying.
