The Vision (You) POV
BOOMMM!!
BOOOOOMMMMM!
SSSIIIIIINNNNNGGGGGGGGGG!!!
The world was in chaos. There was nothing but thunderous explosions, the deafening sound of destruction shaking the very darkened sky. Sothing blindingly bright was beaming down from above—rciless, unstoppable—as it obliterated everything in re seconds along its path. Screams echoed in the distance, people running in panic, trying desperately to escape the never-ending nightmare of ruin and death.
Amidst the roaring calamity, a piercing white light cracked through the darkness overhead...
Sssslllllssshhh~
A lone figure descended—gracefully, silently—dressed in flowing, immaculate white robes, their eyes glowing with pure white brilliance.
He hovered mid-air, solemn and still, gazing over the carnage with an unreadable expression. His pure white eyes scanned the broken world, taking in the shattered lands and fallen hope, his fist tightened over the very long white spear he held... before finally locking eyes with You (The Vision).
Even from a distance, his presence was overwhelming... ethereal.
Then, as if ti paused for a mont, his lips moved.
"Be... careful."
Snap!
With a crisp sound, he snapped his fingers.
White light exploded into the vision, blinding and consuming.
And just like that—
Aether's eyes shot open, his breath slightly ragged. He blinked rapidly, trying to gather his senses, his vision spinning as he sat up slowly in the bed, sweat clinging to his skin.
"Aether?"
A gentle, familiar voice reached him.
He rubbed his eyes with a sigh, the remnants of the vision still clinging to him like a fog.
His fingers trembled slightly, and as he opened his eyes again, the world gradually ca into focus. There, bathed in the faint golden light of dawn, stood Sera—her long, wet strands of hair clinging to her cheeks, a few droplets trailing down her slender neck. She was wearing her usual Archpriestess garnts, though they hugged her damp body more than usual. She leaned on the edge of the bed, eyes filled with concern as they rested on him.
"You woke early?" Aether murmured, his voice still hoarse as he glanced toward the window. The sky had only just begun to lighten, soft colours bleeding across the horizon. Even the birds outside were only just starting to stir.
He turned back to her, wearing a deadpan look that made Sera flush instantly.
"Co on now..." she pouted slightly, cheeks tinted pink. "As the Archpriestess of this Empire, I do have duties, you know."
Aether sighed, but the corners of his lips curled upward. Without another word, he reached out and gently pulled her into his arms.
"Ah—Ouch~!" Sera squealed, giggling as she stumbled and fell onto his chest. Her laughter rang like wind chis, delicate and playful. She looked up at him, pretending to glare, though her smile betrayed her. "Let go... I have duties~" she said in a fake-serious tone.
But her tone, her body language... none of it matched her words. She made no effort to resist him.
Aether chuckled, amused by how cute she was acting. In that mont, she looked younger, more innocent, her usual divine aura softened by affection.
Unable to resist, he leaned forward and placed a kiss on her lips—slow and gentle, like a morning whisper.
"Mmh~"
Her lips responded to his instinctively, lting into him.
"Did you have a nightmare?" she asked softly, her voice laced with worry.
Aether paused, brows furrowing. "...I'm not sure," he confessed, voice quiet as he inwardly thought, 'This was the first ti I saw Iteration No.25 again... after everything with Celestia. He never interacted with before... but now, he did. He spoke. I don't know if he was talking to or soone else... Was it a ti slip? Like before?' he thought deeply.
He exhaled slowly, his expression distant. His chest tightened with the lingering sensation from the vision, the weight of the unknown pressing on him. Sothing was coming. His other self had warned him.
He needed to be prepared.
"Aether?"
Sera's hand gently cupped his cheek, her touch grounding him, pulling him out of the storm in his mind.
He blinked, smiled faintly, and tugged playfully on her cheek.
"So... how's your body feeling now?" he asked, voice mischievous, eyes narrowing.
Sera's lips curled into a sultry smile. "Why don't you check for yourself~?" she teased, leaning in and pressing her breasts firmly against him.
Aether's grin widened as he wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her ass closer.
"Soone's being extra naughty today... Should I make you rember what you scread last night?" he said, voice low and teasing, eyes trailing toward the wall... where the stain had disappeared.
Sera's face turned bright red.
"I washed it, idiot!" she snapped, flustered beyond belief. Her voice was a mixture of embarrassnt and scolding. "I can't believe I had to clean that... The Wall behind Mother's... arrh! And you—! You... You poured a whole load... I swear, if I end up pregnant, it's all your fault!"
Aether's shoulders shook with laughter.
Sera quickly looked away, then muttered darkly, "I still can't believe you made say those things... They were treasonous... even blasphemous against the Mother..."
Her voice trembled slightly, a mix of guilt and disbelief lingering. She bit her lower lip. "For a few monts of pleasure... I threw away everything sacred."
Aether's fingers gently gripped her hips, his voice dropping to a soothing whisper.
"Hey... I gave you a choice, rember? And it was you who asked for more than just a tongue... You begged for it, didn't you~?"
He licked his lips slowly, deliberately, eyes full of seductive mischief.
Sera stared at him, deadpan... but her thighs subtly pressed together.
'Fuck him,' she groaned inwardly. Her heart pounded. Her body ached. Just the sight of him like that, so confident, so sinful—it made her ache between her legs.
She was falling for this man—deeper than she dared admit.
"A-Anyway..." she said quickly, trying to change the subject, though her voice betrayed her nervousness. "I'm curious about your Log... how you got those flas..."
Her tone shifted, now filled with genuine curiosity. The white flas that consud another set of white flas... She had never seen such purity and destruction combined. It haunted her.
Aether didn't hesitate. He opened his Log for her—though not the complete truth. He filtered out the most dangerous information, just like he did with everyone else.
Even he hadn't properly looked at it since he seduced Xara.
And this ti, he was curious to see her Desired/Origin Weapon too.

'None? What the fuck is that?'
Aether's brows furrowed, a flicker of disbelief racing across his face. His eyes lingered on the screen, frozen on that one baffling word under Xara's na. No weapon. Not even a ntion.
'Does that an she doesn't have a weapon... or sothing else entirely?' he wondered, unsettled.
For a mont, he hesitated, about to demand an answer from the Log itself. But then, with a sigh of irritation, he rolled his eyes and shrugged instead.
'Nah... forget it. Like it's ever told the full truth anyway. Useless as ever.'
[AI! That's rude! 😤]
'Huh?! Then why don't you tell for once, huh?' he shot back, glaring inwardly at the voice in his head.
!~Ding~!
[❌Negative!]
Aether's lips twitched.
There was only one explanation he could think of. If Xara didn't have an Desired Weapon... then she was a blank card holder.
Aether shook his head inwardly, scepticism creeping in.
That couldn't be.
She could withstand Aura, even clash against Sandra, and hold her own. That was no ordinary feat. And then he rembered—Sandra had ntioned it once, almost in passing...
'Xara took her blood...'
And that blood had the power to grow, adapt, and mutate.
Aether narrowed his eyes.
'Hmmm... I'll just ask her directly'
His eyes then flicked back to Sera, who had been quietly lying against his chest, her body snug and warm against his. Her back rested on him comfortably, as she stared intently at his Log, her fingers occasionally brushing his. Her expression was blank at first... then suddenly shifted into sothing else.
She murmured, voice laced with astonishnt, "Umbra Sanctum?"
Aether blinked. That wasn't sothing he expected to catch her off guard.
"Huh?" he raised an eyebrow.
Sera slowly turned her face toward him, brows furrowed in confusion, lips parted slightly. "Aether... this na... This place—this temple we're in... back in the ancient tis, it was once known as the Umbra Sanctum."
Aether's eyes widened, surprised. He opened his mouth to ask sothing, but Sera spoke again before he could.
"And..." she whispered, voice trembling now, "Sacred Flas of Ethereal... this isn't just so fancy fla... This is the Sacred Fla. One of the divine flas wielded only by the gods themselves..."
"..." Aether froze.
Sera's expression paled as her own words registered fully. It was as if she herself had spoken sothing forbidden. Her lips quivered, her eyes wide with a mix of realisation and fear.
Without warning, she rose from his lap and kneeled before him, head lowered with reverence.
"Wait, Sera—" Aether began, trying to stop her, but she had already clasped her hands together in prayer.
Her voice trembled, filled with reverence and awe. "Oh... oh, thy Lord... Please forgive this ignorant and unworthy servant... for not recognising the divine truth that stood before ..."
She closed her eyes, breath shaking as she began to pray. Her body softly glowed with a gentle light, serene and warm.
Aether's expression turned incredibly awkward.
"Co on, Sera... this is really unnecessary. I think you're... mistaking sothing—"
But then, she opened her hands slowly, parting them like a sacred offering. A pure white light shimred from her palms, radiating a deep, calm divinity. She stared up at him, teary-eyed but smiling.
"I offer unto you all that I am, my Lord... Every righteous act I've ever perford, every whispered prayer beneath the stars, every heartbeat of devotion—may it all return to you, my living god, the fla that sanctifies my soul."
Before Aether could even react, the light gently rose from her palms and touched his forehead, flowing into him with a divine warmth.
