Lackey didn’t say anything, just watched her silently... his expression hidden behind the rabbit mask, making it impossible to read what he was thinking right now.

Rosavere shrugged. "If you killed her, then I don’t think I would be responsible..." She glanced at Lackey and added, "Who knows, maybe you’re trying to lie to ..." A small smirk appeared on her lips.
Lackey smirked under the mask. ’Look at her trying to point it at ... sly bitch~’ he chuckled inwardly before saying with a stern expression, "Oh? Yeah? And why do you think I would do that?"
Rosavere shrugged. "For money? To trick into giving you more compensation? Or... even trying to trick into revealing who is behind the artifact I bought, since it didn’t work on my receptionist, right~" She smirked again at the end, voice edged with suspicion.
Lackey said calmly, "Yes, I took her to lunch and asked questions... not for you, but for . I need to be careful with whom I’m working.

Rosavere didn’t move.... just stared at him. She knew exactly what was going on here... the reason she was initially angry was because she wanted to pull compensation from him. But she didn’t expect that a succubus had spied on him.
She couldn’t afford to lose him... he was the only man who managed to crack the artifact and find a solution. She needed him. So—
