And so, Xu Hongxin straightened her clothes and walked toward the crowd with a brisk pace, preparing to have a good chat with the tourists and staff to feel things out.

Feng Shan dragged his exhausted body back to the wooden cabin. He was completely wiped out from the week’s work.
He’d had to be hands-on with almost every single step of the preparation to welco the tourists.
From arranging the campground’s layout in advance and ensuring every cabin was clean and well-equipped, to overseeing the construction and safety inspection of the outdoor tent area, he had to be on-site watching over everything, not daring to slack off for a mont.
On the day the tourists arrived, he was even busier. He had been running around since early morning, waiting by the runway for the plane to land, and then he had to deal with all the minor issues that popped up as the tourists disembarked.
Right now, Feng Shan felt as if all the strength had been drained from his body. All he wanted was to collapse on the sofa and get so sleep, to give his weary body and mind a mont’s rest.
"Prince, Princess, you two guard the intersection. Don’t let any tourists in." Feng Shan pointed to the "Private Area - No Entry" sign posted at the intersection.
WHIMPER!
That dumb mutt Prince lazily lifted his head and responded, his voice laced with indolence.
Then he flopped back down and fell fast asleep at the intersection, snoring away as if the sky could fall and it would have nothing to do with him. He had completely ignored Feng Shan’s instructions.
Princess, on the other hand, sat attentively on the ground, her body bolt upright, her eyes fixed on the intersection without blinking.
Seeing this, Feng Shan couldn’t stand the sight of Prince’s lazy attitude.
’Just look at him, sprawled out at the intersection, snoring his head off.’
Feng Shan was so furious he felt like walking over and giving him a kick.
He couldn’t help but complain internally.
’This stupid mutt can’t do a single thing right, but he’ll eat you out of house and ho.’
’All he knows how to do is mooch food and drinks all day, then sleep without a shred of guilt.’
’And then there’s Princess. Now *that’s* what you call diligent and responsible.’
He couldn’t help but feel a pang of jealousy.

At this thought, Feng Shan turned to Princess and asked irritably, "Princess, where are your two precious sons?"

Princess whimpered toward Daisen’s leather goods shop. She seed a little aggrieved, as if she were tattling that soone had run off with her two precious sons.
Feng Shan understood imdiately. The two Polar Bear cubs must have been taken out to play by Lotti.
He couldn’t help but glance back at Prince, who was still fast asleep, completely oblivious to his "job." Feng Shan’s eyes were filled with disdain and contempt.
’He’s got the beautiful and virtuous Princess to keep his den warm, and soone to help raise the kids.’
’This mutt’s life is so damn enviable.’
With that, Feng Shan clasped his hands behind his back and slowly walked back to the cabin.
Usually, the cabin was bustling and full of laughter because Jenny and the others were around.
But now, with the arrival of the tour group, Jenny and the others were busy all day receiving tourists and arranging various matters, so they rarely had ti to co back to the cabin.
The huge room was now empty, making it feel all the more cold and desolate.
As he stepped inside, an atmosphere of silence imdiately enveloped Feng Shan.
He glanced around. The furnishings were familiar, but the warmth of the past was gone, and a trace of disappointnt welled up in his heart.
’I really miscalculated back then.’
’If I’d known, I wouldn’t have bought such a big cabin. A smaller one would have been so much cozier.’
He sighed silently, deciding to take everyone out for a trip once the rush from this tour group was over.

Hearing the noise in the cabin, Coca-Cola appeared at the top of the second-floor stairs.
Seeing it was Feng Shan, she trotted down the stairs with light, quick steps, running all the way to his feet.
First, she circled his legs a few tis, rubbing her head against his pant leg again and again.
Feng Shan bent down, scooped up Coca-Cola, and gently stroked her smooth, glossy fur.
Coca-Cola squinted her eyes in comfort, letting out a contented purr from her throat as she enjoyed the rare mont of affection.
Looking at Coca-Cola’s well-behaved deanor, Feng Shan’s resentnt toward Prince grew a little stronger.
’When he first ca to the Crown Territory, he was such a suck-up to Coca-Cola. No matter where she went, Prince would follow her around like a puppy.’
’But look at him now. The mont he got Princess, he tossed Coca-Cola to the back of his mind.’
The more Feng Shan thought about it, the angrier he got. He couldn’t help but stroke Coca-Cola’s soft fur a few more tis as he said softly,
"Coca-Cola, don’t you worry about that heartless jerk, Prince. The mont that mutt got a wife, he forgot all about you. In the future, I’ll find you even better sidekicks, like bobcats or tigers. I’ll make sure you’re way more impressive than he is."
Sensing the emotion in Feng Shan’s voice, Coca-Cola rubbed her head against his chin and owed, as if responding to his words, or perhaps comforting him and telling him not to be angry at Prince.
The man and cat "chatted," and the atmosphere in the room was warm and pleasant.
Feng Shan gently stroked Coca-Cola’s soft fur while she curled up lazily in his arms, letting out a soft purr from ti to ti. It was as if this quiet, peaceful little corner was the entire world.
「Just then.」
The cabin door was thrown open with a BANG. David and Nash strode into the living room, their steps hurried, stirring up a gust of wind. David, in particular, had a panicked expression, instantly shattering the relaxed atmosphere and making it tense.
"What’s happened with the tourists now?" Feng Shan frowned at the sight, a sudden headache flaring up.
