i enjoyed playing with Ember for a while, until Felix had to suggest leaving the beast rearing departnt. He wanted to see his family and introduce Ember to them, especially to Mia.
At the sa ti, Felix thought of PengPeng and grinned inwardly. Ember and PengPeng would definitely see each other as a rival. Hopefully though, it was friendly one.
An image of Moon appeared in his mind and couldn’t help but chuckled, as well. Given by Ember’s opposing elental energy and a very sweet and clingy personality, Moon would definitely distance herself from Ember.
Felix wouldn’t intervene, unless it worsened to the point their relationship wouldn’t improve. He believed that it would only be a matter of ti before Moon finally gave in and accepted Ember as her new sister.
As soon as i’s hawk appeared, Felix stored Ember to his soul space, dampening i’s mood.
She was reluctant. She was even about to ask Felix to summon Ember again, but Felix didn’t even glance at her, subtly conveying to her that he wouldn’t summon Ember at all.
i wasn’t a pushover person, so she didn’t even try. But her mood was so low that Felix’s smile.
But he didn’t give in. He wanted Ember to rest in his soul space already, getting accustod to her newly ho, before he had to exhaust her again by socializing with his family.
i and Felix finally left and gathered with his family. They were already excited for his new beast pet.
After bidding farewell with i who was weeping, asking to say goodbye to Ember but Felix refused to summon her because he wanted to find a chance to surprise his family mbers, they gathered at Companion Beast Gardens, a popular public space in the Beast Tar Departnt area.
It was a tranquilling area, a perfect place and ti of a day for Felix and others to gather around.
Of course, they ate first at the restaurant near the Companion Beast Gardens.
Felix faced them and kept the suspense hung to the point they could barely restrain themselves.
Krisha crossed her arms and said in an upset tone, "What’s with the suspense? Just reveal it already."
She turned towards Mia, who was distracted with Ashen. When the latter wasn’t around, Mia was able to distract herself with Krisha, but now, Krisha felt alone because of Ashen.
She was already upset and Felix’s action only made it worse.
Felix chuckled at her and said, "Calm down, Krisha."
Without hesitation, he raised both of his hands, faced his palms above and connected them, and summoned Ember atop. When Ember landed, his hands moved below slightly, showing how heavy she was.
Felix could carry her for ten minutes straight with such a position, though.
Ember already had an idea in mind of why she was summoned. She bravely gazed at his master’s family mbers and was actually trembling.
Doctor Eleanor, who had a soothing aura, walked forward and lted by Ember’s cuteness.
She was the first one to east Ember’s anxiousness as she talked to her first before attempting any physical touch.
"You’re so cute! Don’t be afraid. We are harmless. Look, we are admiring how cute you are."
Ember felt flattered by her praise. Doctor Eleanor continued until a spark finally manifested around Ember, causing her to laugh.
Only then, she attempted to caress Ember’s body, gaining another spark.
Doctor Ella then followed Doctor Eleanor, after the latter showed a sign of reluctantly giving them a chance to socialize with Ember.
They knew that to prevent scaring Ember, they must socialize one at a ti.
Master Shen and Noah arrived on the opposite side of Felix. Noah grabbed his son’s shoulders and tried to shake it. He used as much as strength he could muster and proudly said, "Congratulations, son! You have another child. Treat it as more than a pet."
Felix bead a smile and nodded at his father.
Suddenly, he felt the weight of Ember vanished and saw his mother carrying her instead.
Felix chuckled when he saw Sarah’s expression, seemingly shocked and struggling while carrying Ember with the palm of her hands.
She held her breath. "She’s so heavy."
Everyone laughed. Felix stepped forward and was about to carry Ember instead when she suddenly flapped her wings towards Doctor Eleanor.
She had grown fond of Doctor Eleanor. Her soothing aura was attractive.
Doctor Eleanor bead a smile and opened her palms for her to land. Since Ember was still a chick, she was falling to the ground while flapping her wings vigorously just to extend her ti to fly.
Ember stared at Doctor Eleanor and sparks continued to manifest.
Doctor Eleanor chuckled. It was only natural that Ember grew fond of her. After all, she’d been dealing a lot of beasts, from birth until old age, and treated a lot of them. Unknowingly, every beast, especially those who died, unable to be saved by Doctor Eleanor but received her efforts to keep them alive, blessed her with their spirit.
To the point that every beast would recognize Doctor Eleanor as an attractive harmless individual blessed by the spirit of the beasts.
Doctor Ella exuded such an aura too, but her specialization and with the numbers of doctors in the Clark City made her unable to compete with Doctor Eleanor who treated a lot of beasts in the Chambers City.
The Chambers City was sitting at the edge of the humanity’s safe haven and constantly welcod beast wave. Hence, many beasts were injured that Chamber Hospital would often be crowded.
Doctor Eleanor was playing with Ember, while Sarah went closer to her son.
She looked at him with eyes filled with pride. Her son achieved so many things they didn’t dream he was capable of.
The heavens blessed their family, the heavens blessed her son magnanimously.
She smiled at him and said, "Congratulations, Son! By the way, you still haven’t told us her na."
Doctor Eleanor was startled awake. She had forgotten to ask Ember’s na at all.
Since Ember couldn’t respond, she didn’t ask her na and simply praised her to calm her down.
Felix replied, "Ember. Her na is Ember."
Sarah nodded in approval.
"A fitting na," she said.
