Chapter 1063: Chapter 1063: Star Era Guide (13)

“I’ll compensate you, I’ll compensate you.” The person cried, apologizing, “Sorry, I know I was wrong, I’ll compensate you for everything.”

Chuzheng’s ability to fight was completely unexpected for them.

Xiao Jiu and her group had run into her a few tis, each ti quickly lowering their heads, pretending not to want any trouble.

And every ti she was carrying so many good things, they had never seen Chuzheng, just assuming it was Xiao Jiu alone.

Most people usually ate nutritional supplents, but Xiao Jiu eating those things every day, it made them a bit unhappy, so they deliberately picked a fight.

“I don’t need your compensation.” Chuzheng, who was not short of money, was very friendly, “I’ll treat you guys instead.”

Everyone: “???”

“No, no need…” The person shook their head.

“Of course, there’s a need.”

A good person shares good things with others.

[…] What a streak of bad luck for good manners.

The teacher hurried over upon hearing the news.

What he saw was a few girls eating, their faces showing they were expressionless and despairing.

“Teacher, teacher… save us.”

The teacher walked over, “What happened to you all?”

Soone imdiately complained, “Teacher, she… she forced us to eat, I feel terrible.”

The teacher looked over.

Chuzheng had pulled up a chair and was sitting over there, legs crossed, looking as if she were seated on a throne.

“You… which departnt are you from?” the teacher scolded with a frown, “How can you bully your classmates?”

“I invited them to eat, how is that bullying?” Chuzheng tilted her head, seriously asking, “Isn’t this fostering comradeship and love?”

Comradeship and love…

The teacher probably won’t be familiar with this term anymore.

“Which departnt are you from? Who’s your advisor?” the teacher asked angrily.

Chuzheng didn’t reply.

Jing Lan lay on the table drinking, the air filled with the sll of alcohol, yet he seed very clear-headed.

A communication request ca in, Jing Lan directly ignored it.

But as the other side kept trying, he grudgingly answered.

“Teacher Jing Lan, your student has gotten into trouble, please co to the dormitory building imdiately.”

Jing Lan raised his hand to shield his eyes, “I have no students, you’ve got the wrong person.”

He ended the call again.

A few seconds later, the communication ca through again.

“Chuzheng, Xiao Jiu, aren’t they your students?” the voice was sowhat agitated.

“I don’t know them.”

“How can you be a teacher and not know your own students? What are you going to do about it if you don’t co?”

“Kill them.”

“…”

This ti, Jing Lan blocked the person.

He sat there, took a couple of sips of wine, then seed to rember sothing, rummaging through the ss until he found two pieces of paper.

Clearly written on them were the Paleobiology Departnt new student enrollnt application receipt notices, with two nas aligned side by side: Chuzheng, Xiao Jiu.

Jing Lan: “…”

“Damn!”

Jing Lan slapped the receipts on the table, finishing a bottle of wine to the bottom.

Professor Wei received the news upon returning.

Jing Lan had hit soone.

He rubbed his temples in distress, “Why hit soone? Was he drinking? Why provoke him?”

The person on the other end replied, “Who provoked him? It was his student who was in trouble, we asked him to co handle it. Instead, he hit soone after just a couple of sentences.”

Professor Wei couldn’t quite comprehend it initially.

How could Jing Lan have students?

A few seconds later, Professor Wei realized: Those two little girls!

“What happened?” Professor Wei’s expression grew serious.

The other party briefly recounted the story.

After listening, Professor Wei chuckled first—the girl who was usually so cold and indifferent, didn’t seem like soone who would do this.

“Professor Wei!” the person on the other end exclaid angrily.

“Ahem…” Professor Wei regained his seriousness, “It’s just a conflict between students, nothing serious, I’ll handle it.”

“…”

The school isn’t a place for brawls, let alone having a teacher involved.

With the principal out, Professor Wei was the one in charge; since he said so, people couldn’t say much else.

They could only trust Professor Wei to handle it fairly.

Professor Wei went to find Jing Lan’s workspace—set up specifically for him as both a workspace and classroom.

After all, he was the only one there.

The tal door was open; Professor Wei glanced inside, first seeing Chuzheng sitting on a machine, while Xiao Jiu was busy tidying up.

The floor was cleared just enough for walking space, so Professor Wei walked in, “Student Chuzheng, Student Xiao Jiu.”

“Professor Wei.” Xiao Jiu greeted politely.

Chuzheng only looked up at him briefly, her gaze cold, indifferent, as if looking at an inanimate object.

“Ahem… where’s Jing Lan?”

Xiao Jiu pointed behind a shelf.

From behind the specins, a figure moved. As he approached the shelf, Professor Wei called, “Jing Lan.”

A whiff of alcohol wafted out, and Professor Wei had a ‘I knew it’ look on his face.

“What?” Jing Lan’s voice ca through, impatient, irritable, with a hint of anger, like a provoked lion.

“Did you hit soone?” Professor Wei asked him.

“No.”

“…” They had co to complain!

“I’m serious, can you not drink at school? And yet you go and hit soone; tell , how should I handle this?”

The man erged from behind the shelf, sneering, “If you hadn’t stuck with these two people, how would I have gotten into a fight?”

Professor Wei: “??”

Weren’t you the one who filled out the admission application and stamped it yourself?

What’s it got to do with ?

I even tried to stop you!

I didn’t get a chance though!

I’m so unjustly accused!

“Why are you just sitting there? Don’t you know how to move?” Jing Lan kicked the machine Chuzheng was sitting on.

Chuzheng remained still, tilting her head to look at him.

“What are you looking at?” Jing Lan’s piercing blue eyes narrowed, and a tension filled the air for no reason.

Professor Wei interjected, “Alright, enough of this drunken madness.”

“I’m very sober.” Jing Lan kicked the machine again.

Chuzheng asked Professor Wei, “What happens if you hit a teacher?”

Professor Wei: “??”

Before Professor Wei’s brain could process the “punishnt for hitting a teacher,” Chuzheng had already made her move.

Professor Wei couldn’t understand why he was supposed to be resolving a dispute, and now he was dealing with strained teacher-student relationships!

The clean space Xiao Jiu had just organized was reduced to chaos again by those two.

Standing awkwardly in the corner, Xiao Jiu didn’t know what to do.

In the center, Chuzheng and Jing Lan stood apart.

Jing Lan wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, not expecting his conveniently acquired student to be so formidable.

Chuzheng also didn’t expect that despite Jing Lan’s spiritual power being gone, he fought so fiercely.

In her heart, Chuzheng silently chanted that the Good Person Card knew nothing; she just acted according to character… still infuriated.

Maybe I should just get rid of him!

Jing Lan’s piercing blue eyes half-closed, scrutinizing Chuzheng with a predator’s dangerous gaze.

The force in his body withdrew, and he waved his hand impatiently, “Forget it, let’s not fight. What are you here for?”

He turned to ask Professor Wei.

Professor Wei: “…”

Don’t you know why I’m here?!
