Chapter 1309: Chapter 1309: Real and Fake Daughters (Part 15)

He Shan shivered.

Won’t the head teacher see if you hand this in?

But Chuzheng didn’t ask her to return the reflection paper, instead she pulled out another sheet and handed it to the head teacher.

The head teacher unfolded it and looked at it, “Your handwriting is quite nice.”

“Thank you.”

“Don’t climb over the wall again next ti.”

“…”

Chuzheng just nodded, without responding.

The head teacher left while reading the reflection.

He Shan was sweating nervously, “Xiao Chu, you actually wrote two copies?”

Chuzheng: “…”

How could a boss make a mistake?!

Du Xia beca the focus of the students, keeping a low profile for a while and stopped bothering Chuzheng.

Chuzheng enjoyed the peace, and it would be even more perfect if that bastard didn’t give her tasks.

It’s the weekend today, and He Shan asked Chuzheng to go shopping.

“Xiao Chu, I’m going to buy milk tea, do you want so?”

“…” Chuzheng maintained a stern face, “No.”

“Oh, co on, it’s delicious.” He Shan eagerly recomnded to Chuzheng, “Really, it’s a new flavor, I’m not lying, it’s super tasty, I guarantee you’ll want more after trying!! I’ll go buy it, you wait here for .”

“…”

Is the milk tea shop paying you for advertising?

Chuzheng walked to the roadside and stood under a tree that could block the sunlight.

Under the tree, there was also a little girl, about four or five years old, with two little braids, crying sadly, without any adults around… like she was staging an accident.

Chuzheng glanced around, planning to change her spot.

Taking a few steps, Chuzheng looked back at the crying little girl and went back, walking over with her hands in her pockets, “Why are you crying?”

“Balloon…”

The little girl sobbed intermittently, not expressing herself clearly.

It took a while for Chuzheng to understand that her balloon had floated away.

Chuzheng looked in the direction she was pointing, the balloon was caught in the tree behind them.

She exhaled slightly.

Be a good person!

Every day strive to be a good person!

The balloon’s string was hanging down below, out of reach for the child, but an adult could easily grab it.

The balloon was stuck among the branches, Chuzheng tugged a couple of tis, but it wouldn’t co down.

So she pulled harder…

Boom!

The balloon popped directly.

The little girl looked up at her tearfully, and after a full three seconds, burst into tears.

Chuzheng: “…”

I, I, I… didn’t expect the balloon to be so fragile!

At this mont, a woman rushed over, “Baby, what’s wrong, don’t cry, don’t cry…”

“Mama… she ruined… the balloon.” The little girl pointed at Chuzheng accusingly, “She’s a bad person, my balloon…”

Chuzheng: “…” No, I didn’t, don’t talk nonsense!!

The balloon popped on its own, what’s that got to do with !

The woman looked towards Chuzheng.

The balloon had popped, and at this mont, the string and so remnants were all in Chuzheng’s hand, making it really look like she had ruined the balloon.

Following the woman’s gaze, Chuzheng imdiately dropped the string in her hand.

“You’re a grown-up, and you’re snatching things from a child.” The woman muttered, holding the little girl as she left, “Baby don’t cry, mommy will buy you a new one.”

Chuzheng: “…”

Dammit, well done!!

I told you she was staging an accident!!

See, see, see!!

[… Sister, why do you always encounter such things, is it a constitution issue?] Normal people wouldn’t encounter such a probability commonly.

Chuzheng with a cold face: Are you sure it’s not you causing mischief from behind?

[No, I didn’t, don’t talk nonsense!]

Chuzheng’s good deed failed once again, and she wasn’t in a good mood.

Fortunately, at this mont He Shan ca back with two cups of milk tea and handed one to Chuzheng, “Xiao Chu, for you.”

“I don’t drink it.” The boss drinking milk tea, what is that, she still wants so face.

He Shan looked earnest, “Have so, it’s delicious, I queued for it for so long.”

Chuzheng: “…”

She begged to drink it!!

It’s not that I wanted to drink it!!

Chuzheng ‘reluctantly’ accepted the milk tea, sipping it with a cool deanor, it was quite tasty… Hmm… can’t show it.

He Shan: “Is it good?”

Chuzheng: “It’s okay.”

Seeing that Chuzheng didn’t say it was bad, He Shan was already very satisfied.

Chuzheng followed He Shan shopping, incidentally being coerced by that bastard into spending.

“Xiao Chu, we…”

Chuzheng interrupted the reluctant He Shan, “I have sothing to do, need to head back first.”

Shopping is terrifying!!

Chuzheng stopped a car, and quickly slipped away.

Chuzheng leisurely returned to her place, wandering past from downstairs, her gaze swept around.

Soone’s surveilling here.

Could Wu Qiang, that bastard, have called people to beat up?

Chuzheng cautiously walked over, seeing that no one popped out to start a fight, she quickly went upstairs.

The corridor was unlit, Chuzheng groped her way up in the dark.

As she reached the third floor, a shadow wavered down from above.

Chuzheng hadn’t heard any sound, she was alard to see a figure only then.

The shadow descended slowly, Chuzheng switched on her phone’s light, illuminating the narrow space.

The outline of the shadow quickly beca clear, a boy wearing a baseball cap, the brim pulled extrely low.

The boy had his hands tucked in his pockets, a black jacket draped casually over his shoulders, a black T-shirt underneath, the crucifix necklace around his neck reflecting a faint light.

The sudden light made the boy frown unhappily.

Under the brim of the cap, the facial features gradually beca clear, it was a sowhat pale face, but extraordinarily beautiful.

The dilapidated corridor behind him was blurred by the play of light and shadow, as if the sun and moon couldn’t outshine it.

The boy just glanced at her and quickly retracted his gaze, raised a hand to press down on his hat, and swiftly brushed past her.

He moved without a sound, Chuzheng only felt a gust of wind pass, and looking again, the person was already down a level.

Chuzheng’s heart skipped a bit, with an inexplicable sense of familiarity.

For the next few days, Chuzheng found people camping out downstairs every day. At first, she thought they were coming after her and specifically went to ‘chat’ with Wu Qiang, then found out that wasn’t the case.

The campers changed every day, and their positions beca more concealed.

Initially, Chuzheng could spot them easily; now she had to look for a while before finding them.

And the boy she had t before hadn’t been seen these past few days either.

Just as Chuzheng began to suspect if she was seeing things, she encountered that boy again.

The area where Chuzheng lived was full of dilapidated buildings, crisscrossed with small alleys, non-locals could easily get lost once inside.

Chuzheng sipped her milk tea, leisurely crossing through the alleys, and just as she reached the junction of two alleys, a figure darted out.

The alley was narrow, Chuzheng was walking in the middle, and seeing her, the figure obviously froze for a mont, then turned to run in the other direction.

The person was clutching their stomach, bloodstains dotted the ground.

“Stop him!”

“Don’t let him get away!”

Voices vaguely ca from behind, followed by several people erging from the alley, glancing around, spotting the direction the person was running, and imdiately gave chase.

The last person looked at Chuzheng, seemingly debating whether or not to deal with her, finally chose to focus on the person in front, ignoring Chuzheng.
