Capítulo 1310: Chapter 1310: Real and Fake Daughters (Part 16)

Chuzheng didn’t want to cause trouble, so naturally, she wouldn’t follow.

She headed in the other direction, but sohow that group of people ended up blocking her path back.

[Hidden Task: Please obtain a Good Person Card from Shu Juan and save the darkened Good Person Card.]

Chuzheng: “…”

Trouble always finds its way here on its own.

Chuzheng stood in the shadows, silently sipping her milk tea, watching the boy surrounded by people.

There were only so many people here, and according to past patterns, the Good Person Card must be that boy.

Indeed, it’s him…

Earlier, she had a vague feeling but wasn’t very sure, and the Bastard played dead.

The darkened Good Person Card wouldn’t be too weak; Chuzheng watched as the boy fought his way out of the encirclent despite being injured.

Wow! Impressive!

If she could see the bullet comnts right now, her mind would probably be filled with ‘6666’ kind of aningless praise.

The King’s Account had been holding back, realizing that aside from ranting internally, Chuzheng showed no intent to act, could not stand idly.

[Miss, what are you doing?]

“Observing the combat power of the Good Person Card.” This guy seems strong, better think of a way to lock him up safely.

[…] Are you kidding?!! [Miss, at this mont, shouldn’t you go up and help?]

Chuzheng, with a serious face: “I think the Good Person Card can save himself, doesn’t need to intervene.”

[…]

That’s just your opinion.

[Miss, please go and rescue him imdiately, okay!!] roared the King’s Account.

Chuzheng: “…” My milk tea isn’t finished yet.

[…] Didn’t you say it didn’t taste good before? Why go buy milk tea in secret!!!

“Should I not buy openly?” Does a boss not care about face?

[…]

The King’s Account didn’t want to waste words with Chuzheng, only roared for her to quickly go save the person.

Shu Juan shook off those following him, his body already at its limit, supporting himself against the wall, he walked a short distance to find a relatively safe place.

Shu Juan covered his abdon, sitting against the wall.

The wound continued to bleed, the warm sticky fluid gushing from his fingertips.

“Are you still alive?”

A clear voice suddenly rang out, Shu Juan, like a startled beast, instantly beca alert and wary, his sharp gaze sweeping towards the source of the voice.

A girl sat on the wall beside him, looking down at him.

The girl wore comfortable casual clothes, her deanor was proper and fresh, but her face was cold as ice, without much expression.

The girl leapt down lightly and soundlessly landing in front of him.

Shu Juan didn’t move, his breathing slowed down, seemingly unguarded, yet his back was tense, ready for a fight at any mont.

“Need help?” The girl squatted down expressionlessly, approaching him without alarm, exposing her weak points: “You look quite miserable.”

In a flash, Shu Juan made a move, grabbing Chuzheng’s neck, his voice low and sinister: “Who are you!”

The soft slender neck was under his palm; the girl didn’t struggle, her icy eyes quietly watching him.

“You’ve seen before.” Chuzheng calmly spoke: “Forgot?”

Good Person Card, huh!

Grabbing my neck right off the bat!

This isn’t over!

Even after a few kisses, he can’t be nice!

Shu Juan certainly hadn’t forgotten, but precisely because of eting her, it made him more suspicious.

How could soone with such presence be in such a place?

Shu Juan put force into his grip, his fingertips pressing against the artery’s location, feeling a slight pulse.

He only needed a bit more force for this delicate neck to be broken by him.

His lashes lowered slightly, avoiding Chuzheng’s gaze, coldly asking: “Who sent you?”

“No one.”

Do you think I want to co?

If not for the Bastard, who would care about you…

Chuzheng suddenly gasped, Shu Juan’s grip tightened.

I… I damn, damn, damn, damn…

Does the Good Person Card want to strangle ?!

Look, he’s gripping my neck; can I hit him?!

[Miss, you’re the one who delivered yourself for him to grab, why protest!]

Chuzheng: “…” Oh.

[Can’t you do sothing useful, stop having a one-man psychological act nobody’s watching!!] King’s Account roared.

At this mont, footsteps sounded from afar, conversations were blurred but faintly showed they were looking for him.

“Can you still run?” Chuzheng, strangled, maintained a cold and indifferent expression, showing no signs of fluctuation.

As if the person grabbed at gunpoint wasn’t her.

The footsteps got closer.

Shu Juan had little strength left to run.

If those people caught up, they would surely capture him…

Chuzheng pressed Shu Juan’s wrist, applying a bit of force: “I can help you.”

Da-da-da—

Footsteps approached.

Shu Juan glared at her, not relaxing his hand, his whole body brimming with vigilance.

“Why should I trust you?”

A random person popping up, why should he trust her?

Chuzheng: “I am a good person.”

Shu Juan’s lips curled with a cold smile: “Good people don’t say they’re good.”

Chuzheng was extrely composed: “I am a different kind of good person.”

Shu Juan: “…”

This person… has issues?

“There’s blood here.”

“Quick chase!”

Chuzheng swept her gaze towards the alley, a bit impatient: “If you think I want to do sothing to you now, can you run?”

Shu Juan lowered his gaze, glancing at the knife against his abdon, his expression stiffened for a mont.

This what you call a good person?

Hmm?

The people who had encircled Shu Juan earlier, ran over from the alley entrance, following the blood trail all the way to the corner.

“The blood trail stops here, gone…”

“Did he escape?”

“He was so badly wounded, damn does he have three heads and six arms?”

The pursuers looked grim.

Even with such injuries, he managed to escape; how will they explain this when they return?

“What do we do?”

“Separate and search!” One suggested: “I can’t believe he can run far.”

The others imdiately split up, heading in various directions to search.

On a moonless, windy night, the crescent moon, barely visible just monts ago, had hidden behind the clouds.

The whole building was silent, not a trace of light.

Chuzheng supported Shu Juan upstairs, looking at the door in front of them: “Here?”

“Mm.”

Chuzheng pushed the door but couldn’t open it: “Key.”

Shu Juan: “In the pocket.”

“Which side?”

Shu Juan motioned towards the side leaning against Chuzheng.

Chuzheng reached out to check; her movents were quick, without hesitation, let alone any embarrassnt. From finding the key to opening the door and entering the room, it took less than a minute.

Shu Juan sat on the sofa, pressing his fingers against his abdon, beads of sweat faintly seeping from his forehead.

Chuzheng turned on the light.

The layout of the rooms in this building was all the sa, except Shu Juan’s seed to have two units rged, very spacious.

The curtains were thick, tightly drawn, Chuzheng suspected it wouldn’t let light through even during the day.

Besides the kitchen and bathroom, there was just one door left, probably a bedroom, though that door was shut.

The overall decoration was simple, aside from the furniture, there wasn’t much else.

In the corner, a few boxes gathered dust, indicating the owner hadn’t disturbed them in a long ti.

The room exuded an air of desolation, as if no one lived there.
