Capítulo 1339: Chapter 1339: The Real and Fake Heiress (Finale)

“That’s right, her studies are still the most important right now. Even if you have a good relationship, it shouldn’t affect her studies.”

Shu Juan: “…”

Who’s really affecting whom?

After flirting with herself every day, she goes off to do her howork as if nothing happened.

“I understand.”

The class teacher confird there was nothing else to explain and allowed Shu Juan to leave.

Shu Juan let out a breath and went downstairs to find Chuzheng.

Chuzheng was standing with He Shan. Shu Juan walked over, He Shan covered her face with a smile, winked at Chuzheng for a mont, and then ran to her parents.

Standing next to Chuzheng, many students and parents were looking over at them.

Chuzheng led Shu Juan away, and when they got into the car and out of sight, Chuzheng asked, “What did the teacher say?”

“Told you not to be so slow when writing.”

“…”

What’s wrong with writing slowly?!

That’s sothing you can say!

After the parent-teacher eting, it wasn’t long before vacation started.

During the Spring Festival, Shu Juan spent ti with Chuzheng and the others. Mr. and Mrs. Yan prepared lots of things, and they had a lively New Year.

In the second sester of senior year, the studying beca intense.

But Chuzheng was still indifferent, showing little interest.

Chuzheng propped her elbow on the desk, holding the cross Shu Juan gave her pressed against her lips, while slowly writing on a test paper with her other hand.

He Shan, reading beside her, noticed the cross in Chuzheng’s hand and curiously asked, “Xiao Chu, who gave this to you? It looks quite ordinary…”

She’d seen it before but hadn’t asked until now.

Chuzheng’s desk did have quite a few random bracelets and necklaces.

But she’d never seen her wear any of them.

Except for this necklace, which Chuzheng always wore and occasionally played with.

“My boyfriend.”

“…”

Alright, since I found this dog food, might as well keep eating.

After finishing her howork, Chuzheng took out her phone for a glance.

Shu Juan sent her a ssage.

Not much to it, Chuzheng read it and put her phone away.

Finally, when school was out, Chuzheng stuffed things haphazardly into her backpack and left.

“Yan Chuzheng, where are you heading?”

The dean appeared behind her like a ghost, calling her in a chilly manner.

Chuzheng: “…”

Chuzheng had jumped the fence so many tis that writing self-reflection essays didn’t help.

So, the dean added a rule to the school policies: No jumping the fence to leave, whether it’s after school or between classes.

Yet Chuzheng continued to ignore it.

The dean had no choice but to co ‘escort’ her out of the gate at dismissal.

Why not use the perfectly good school gate instead of jumping the fence!

What if she got hurt, how would the school compensate?!

After her college entrance exam, Chuzheng heard the latest news about Du Xia.

Mr. Du, unable to bear Mrs. Du’s antics every day, decided to get a divorce.

Mrs. Du, of course, wouldn’t accept it, believing Mr. Du was leaving her for another woman, causing a big scene.

In the end, maybe because Mr. Du was firm, Mrs. Du had no choice but to hire soone to fake evidence of Mr. Du’s infidelity.

The evidence was naturally fabricated.

Seeing Mrs. Du trying such tricks, Mr. Du, who had been tolerant because she was a woman, could endure no further.

Their divorce battle was extrely dramatic, enough for a movie called Divorce Battle.

In the end, Mrs. Du didn’t get what she wanted.

Du Xia was awarded to her, but given the company’s current state, Mrs. Du didn’t receive much.

Because of an accident, Du Xia missed the college entrance exam.

At a private school where tuition was expensive, Mrs. Du couldn’t independently afford it.

Even Mr. Du himself claid to be overwheld and had no extra money for her to pay the high tuition fees of a private school.

Of course, with Du Xia’s grades, even if she took the exam, it likely wouldn’t yield good results.

Du Xia ended up repeating a year and got into a diocre university.

Du Xia didn’t understand company affairs; she just believed Mr. Du and Mrs. Du had money, so even if divorced they should still have plenty of money.

So whenever she asked for money, she expected to receive it.

Du Xia also harbored ambitions; she awaited inheriting Mr. Du’s company while not studying seriously.

With her stance, how could Mr. Du dare to let her inherit?

Later, when she asked Mr. Du for money again, she faced various obstacles.

Rumor has it that in the end, Mr. Du was on the verge of cutting ties with her.

Mrs. Du couldn’t bear her daughter being such a leech, but had no choice, as Du Xia took every penny she had.

“There’s a blind date tomorrow. Go take a look.”

Mrs. Du looked at her daughter lounging on the couch, showing a sharp, bitter look.

Why did she bring her back?

Before she showed up, everything was great.

Even though Mr. Du didn’t like her, he still respected her for being well-mannered and caring and bought whatever she wanted. Everyone envied her.

Since bringing her back, everything changed.

Du Xia sat up: “What do you an?”

“Look at you now, just get married early,” comnted Mrs. Du.

“What’s wrong with now? Isn’t this your fault? If you hadn’t given wrong away, would I be like this now?”

Du Xia suddenly erupted.

“Why did you divorce Dad? Without divorce, would we end up like this?”

“You’re blaming ? If it weren’t for you, why would old Du divorce !” Mrs. Du was triggered.

Blaming .

Blaming you.

Never-ending.

The two argued and then got into a scuffle; Du Xia accidentally pushed Mrs. Du onto the coffee table.

Mrs. Du fainted on the spot.

Seeing the blood flowing, Du Xia was terrified and lost her senses, didn’t even check if she was alive, and ran away imdiately.

Mrs. Du could’ve lived, but due to untily rescue and excessive blood loss, she died.

Du Xia went into hiding, afraid to show her face.

Of course, this was all a later story; she had just graduated high school at the ti.

Chuzheng took her acceptance letter and handed it to Father Yan and Mother Yan.

Shu Juan accompanied Chuzheng inside, standing to the side, almost even without presence except for being seen.

Mr. and Mrs. Yan looked at the acceptance letter for a long ti: “Is this school good?”

“Top ten in the country, very good,” replied Shu Juan.

Mr. and Mrs. Yan exchanged glances; perhaps they were excited, or perhaps sothing else; both had slightly wet eyes.

Father Yan thought deeply: “Then you should go back and see your foster parents. They raised you; you should thank them.”

Chuzheng wasn’t interested in visiting them.

She gave a perfunctory answer, letting Mr. and Mrs. Yan celebrate, and returned with Shu Juan.

Shu Juan accompanied Chuzheng all four years of college.

Chuzheng had no faults except for liking to buy all sorts of expensive random things for the house.

Everything Shu Juan wore and used was bought by her.

“You are mine too.”

“Yours.” Shu Juan grumpily pulled her onto his lap: “Little one, were you talking to another boy today?”

“No.”

“I saw it.”

Chuzheng pondered a mont: “Shall I eliminate him?”

“…”

He was wrong.

One day, Chuzheng oddly asked him: “Why do you have to live here?”

“Don’t you like it?”

“Small space, can’t hold much stuff.” Impacts my shopping spree.

“This house… was left to by my father.” Shu Juan’s voice slowed: “He didn’t leave much.”

Chuzheng didn’t know what to say, thought for a while, and said, “Now you have .”

Shu Juan kissed her: “I know. Let go of , I’ll clean up first, Pei Luan is coming over for dinner later.”

“What’s he coming over for?”

“No idea, maybe just to visit.” Pei Luan ca by every so often.

Chuzheng’s tone was impatient: “Isn’t he annoying?”

Looks like I need to find sothing for the Pei Family to do, set up a few big projects for him to handle.
