Now reading: Chapter 1511: Death List (24) from Let's Squander A Billion First!, a Sci-fi novel by Mo Ling.

"Oh." Chuzheng looked at her expressionlessly, "Where’s the evidence?"

Chuzheng did not find any surveillance here.

Of course, this place is not ordinary, maybe they are not using regular surveillance caras.

Short-haired girl: "Please show your access card."

Chuzheng stared at the short-haired girl, unmoving.

"Please show your access card." the short-haired girl repeated.

Chuzheng fumbled around on her body and slapped it onto the counter with a ’pop’.

At this ti, there were other players who were startled by Chuzheng’s action and looked over.

Outside, quite a few players were lying on the translucent glass, constantly peering inside.

The short-haired girl smiled and took it, Chuzheng watched as a screen appeared in the void, recording the scene from her perspective.

Access card...

The screen showed her recent activity track, the short-haired girl did not question her points, as if her points were obtained normally.

The screen flickered quickly, stopping only at the first player who found her and wanted to assign tasks to her, then it played normally.

On screen, Chuzheng said a few words to that player, but there was no movent in between.

The player’s expression changed from excitent to unpleasantness, then to fear, and finally left dejected.

During this ti, Chuzheng stood still, not moving an inch.

The next few players were all the sa.

The short-haired girl did not spot anything unusual, and smiled as she returned the access card to Chuzheng.

"Please refrain from using violence, the consequences will be severe."

Chuzheng coldly stored the access card and began to provoke the ga: "Even if I use violence, can you catch ?"

Short-haired girl: "..."

Chuzheng safely ca out, and the players outside scattered quickly.

Chuzheng confird that as long as this place couldn’t monitor, it couldn’t determine that she used violence...

And when it can’t make a determination, it won’t do anything to the players.

-

Chuzheng returned to the hotel to find a death list appearing on the table again.

Chuzheng: "??"

Don’t I have a 360-day rest period?

Chuzheng took the list back to the bank, and slapped it in front of the short-haired girl: "Explain."

The short-haired girl picked up the list, and after a mont, raised her head.

"Hello, soone used a prop card to invite you into this round of the ga. You cannot refuse the prop card, but rest assured, the rest period will not change; you can continue to enjoy your rest period."

"If I can’t co back, how do I enjoy it?"

I clearly could hang until next year, and now it’s a year earlier, is it the sa?!

"...Sorry, it’s the ga rule; the effect of the prop card precedes others."

"Who invited ?"

"Sorry, I can’t tell you that."

"What can you tell ?"

Short-haired girl: "Wish you pass the ga."

Chuzheng: "..."

Damn ga!

Chuzheng took the death list and left the bank.

This ti the list is particularly long, five nas per row, with a total of eight rows, 40 people.

The highest instance number in the small room is a hundred-person team.

Compared to that, forty isn’t too many.

Chuzheng scanned the nas one by one and quickly spotted several familiar nas.

Xi Mu, Jih Youtang were right up there.

Finally, Chuzheng saw Yun Qiushui...

It’s her again!!

Prop card invitation... Yun Qiushui?

How arrogant!

-

Chuzheng returned to the hotel and found Xi Mu arrogantly leaning outside her room door.

"Ca back." Xi Mu looked up, his eyes filled with impatience: "Could you co back later?"

He’s waited here till the flowers wilted.

God knows why he had such good patience to wait here.

"I could."

Xi Mu: "..."

Xi Mu was choked, and felt even more annoyed.

His whole body was exuding a ’I’m about to explode’ vibe.

Chuzheng asked him: "Got sothing?" She hadn’t seen Xi Mu for several days, and when she went to the store, the youth said he was not clear on the boss’s whereabouts.

The small room has many buildings, Chuzheng simply couldn’t find anyone.

Xi Mu suppressed his impatience: "Did you receive the list?"

"Mm."

Xi Mu fumbled inside his clothes and pulled out sothing resembling a wristwatch: "Contact using this after entering the ga."

Chuzheng took the wristwatch and examined it: "You’re not planning to use this to kill first, are you?"

Xi Mu’s mouth curled slightly as he spat disdainfully: "If I wanted to kill you, I wouldn’t bother with this."

He moved away from the wall and headed toward the elevator.

Just as Chuzheng was about to say ’you can’t kill ’, Xi Mu suddenly turned back and said: "Oh, the first thing after entering the ga, find local hunter equipnt... that unified outfit, players in the top three who acquire it, can make those things partially ignore them."

With that, Xi Mu left.

Chuzheng pondered carefully as she returned to her room.

Unified outfit...

In the previous campus instance, not all zombies were wearing school uniforms.

Because the school has students, this unified outfit must be school uniforms... does this equipnt rely on guessing?

In the instance, school uniforms aren’t hard to find, so only the top three who acquire them are effective.

Yet obviously many players don’t know this, at least Fatty and The Bald are unaware of this point.

But it’s only partial neglect...

The impact isn’t significant to Chuzheng.

-

Chuzheng entered the ga in a house.

It was very dark, with no light at all.

She hadn’t managed to see the surroundings before cards appeared in front of her.

"Please draw a card."

Chuzheng still picked randomly.

Na: Qi Chuzheng (Reaper Player)

Points: 2925

Clearances: 4

Prop Cards: 43

Chuzheng: "..."

Oh wow!

Drawn the Grim Reaper.

So I must kill all players to clear this ti, huh?

Chuzheng was pleased for a mont, then suddenly felt sothing was wrong... Good Person Cards are players too!!

If Good Person Cards die, wouldn’t I be reset?

Failing to kill Good Person Cards ans failing the clearance...

This is a dead end!!

Chuzheng was almost depressed, staring at the cards for a long ti, she suddenly slamd her hand.

That’s what you get for drawing randomly.

Things will work out when they reach that point, deal with it later.

Chuzheng packed the cards away and pulled out a flashlight to look around.

The house had two bedrooms, a living room, with so empty bags of instant food piled on the table.

Clothes were thrown on the sofa, as if it hadn’t been tidied up for a long ti.

With the curtains drawn tight and seamless, a photograph hung on the wall, it seed to be a couple’s house.

Chuzheng glanced quickly, feeling sothing wasn’t right, but couldn’t pinpoint it.

Chuzheng didn’t see anyone in the room.

Chuzheng walked to the window and pulled the curtains, only to find a layer of paper glued on the glass.

She tore off a piece and peered out through the glass.

Outside was night, with a round moon hanging in the sky, and stars densely scattered.

Looking out, the buildings stretched endlessly in the darkness, disappearing into the distance with no end in sight.

This is the entire city.

What’s the the of this round?

Such a large battlefield... does it feel a bit exciting?

Chuzheng opened the door and went out, outside was deathly silent, any slight noise would be magnified.
