Now reading: Chapter 125: Strength in Numbers from Level 1 to Infinity: My Bloodline Is the Ultimate Cheat!, a Action novel by RaundelNFT.

Ethan was about to teach this damn rock a lesson when he noticed sothing strange.

The Prismatic Stone, which had been hovering confidently just monts ago, was now wobbling unsteadily, as if it were drunk.

Then, without warning, it lurched sideways and plumted to the ground.

Ethan's eyes widened. 'Did it eat too much? Did I actually overfeed it?!'

He had been hoping to see so kind of evolution, maybe even witness it hatching into sothing powerful—who knew, maybe it would pop out a miniature lifeform or sothing.

Just as he stepped forward to check on it…

The Prismatic Stone began to contort, shifting between being long and flat, over and over.

Then—

Pffft…

A weird noise.

Fwshhh!

Sothing shot out at high speed, whistling through the air straight for Ethan's face. His reflexes kicked in, he raised his hand just in ti to block it.

A small, scorching-hot stone landed in his palm.

At that mont, a system notification popped up.

Ding!

[You have obtained an item: "Prismatic Stone.]

"Prismatic Stone?" Ethan frowned. Where did that even co from?

He slowly opened his palm.

The small projectile sitting there was indeed a Prismatic Stone, the very material he needed.

Wait…

His gaze snapped back to the Prismatic Stone lying on the ground. Sure enough, a small hole was visible on its body, slowly closing up.

"Oh, hell no—"

Ethan's entire body shuddered in disgust. His fingers twitched, nearly hurling the rock away on instinct.

But, in the end, logic won over revulsion.

Taking a deep breath, he tossed the stone on his palm into his inventory.

Checking his quest tracker, he saw:

Prismatic Stones Collected: 1/3

He recalled that when he activated the hidden quest to awaken the Prismatic stone, it had reset his progress to 0/3. Now, with this… er… freshly produced stone, he was back on track.

Suddenly, the Prismatic Stone in front of him didn't seem like a cursed object anymore.

Disgusting? Yes. But insanely useful.

Wasting no ti, Ethan scooped up the now slightly larger Prismatic Stone and sprinted straight to the auction house.

This ti, he wasn't ssing around, he dropped ten gold on high-quality ore, making sure to pick only the best grades available.

Exiting the auction house, he didn't even bother looking for a quiet spot.

Sitting down right outside the entrance, he grabbed a chunk of ore in one hand and the Prismatic Stone in the other—then started force-feeding it.

However…

No matter what he tried, the Prismatic Stone refused to eat. It kept its mouth firmly shut.

Ethan poked, prodded, shook, and even tried prying it open—nothing worked. At so point, the damn thing even sealed its mouth completely, leaving no visible opening at all.

After exhausting himself with failed attempts, Ethan finally gave up, panting in frustration.

'Fine. Maybe it really is full. But how long would it take to digest? And more importantly… could it "produce" two more before evolving?'

Just as he wondered, he heard murmuring around him.

"What's that guy doing, smashing two rocks together?"

"No idea. Maybe he's not quite right in the head?"

"Hey, man! Need so help lting those ores? I can forge them together for you!"

Ethan looked up. A blacksmith player was standing in front of him, genuinely offering assistance.

Without a word, Ethan stood up and walked away.

The blacksmith trailed after him, still talking, but Ethan ignored him completely, practically sprinting to the teleportation platform.

Only after keeping quiet a distance did he allow himself to process the humiliation.

'Damn it. That was so freaking embarrassing.'

Standing there, smashing two rocks together in public, he must have looked like a complete moron.

As Ethan sprinted toward the teleportation platform, he pulled up his character panel, realizing he had completely lost track of his level.

He was already level 34.

Just yesterday, they had five-star cleared an Expert-level dungeon, instantly rewarding every party mber three whole levels.

Victor had practically been dying of jealousy when he found out this morning.

But he had zero regrets.

Why? Well… everyone understood the reason.

Of course they all did…

Ethan also noticed his Growth Index had reached 22—a reward he had earned in Dreamwood Grove, which boosted all Druid Growth Indexes by 2.

Previously, Druids had the lowest Growth Index in the ga at 10, while other classes had 12.

Now, they were finally on equal footing.

That also ant that, in his previous life, no one had ever unlocked Dreamwood Grove.

This ti, Ethan had paved the way for Druids to thrive, no longer dood to be lowly extras.

---

By now, Ethan had stepped onto the teleportation platform, but the blacksmith apprentice was still chasing after him.

That's when Ethan rembered—he did have a couple of items that needed upgrading.

Glancing at his inventory, he took stock of his gear quality. Aside from a few high-end pieces, most of his gear was still trash-tier Bronze and Silver.

And those pieces weren't even worth upgrading.

Right now, the only two items worth enhancing were:

1. [Ring of True Sight] (Iron-Tier, Level 1)

2. [Blazing Bracelet] (Gold-Tier, Level 5)

---

[Ring of True Sight 30]

Tier: Common Iron

Required Level: 1

Attack Power: 8-20 (Base: 2-5, Reinforcent: 6-15)

Passive Effect 1:

Increases Stealth Detection Chance.

Passive Effect 2 (Locked):

Unlocks "True Sight" ability, allowing the wearer to detect invisible enemies within 3 ters for 10 seconds (Cooldown: 1 minute).

(This ability will activate once upgraded to Bronze-Tier.)

This ring was one-of-a-kind because of its detection ability, a rare and highly sought-after skill.

In his previous life, the God of Assassins had used this ring's True Sight skill to dominate every rogue in the ga, earning his legendary status.

But in this tiline, Ethan had looted this ring off him. He couldn't help but wonder, without this item, would that guy still beco the top rogue?

Either way, if Ethan wanted this ring to reach its full potential, he needed to upgrade both its tier and level.

---

[Blazing Bracelet] (Gold-Tier, Level 5)

This item was already high quality, so he just needed to increase its level.

Once upgraded to Level 20 or higher, it would unlock additional stat bonuses.

---

Ethan wasn't new to equipnt upgrading.

In Ethereal, forging enhancents was one of the ga's biggest gold sinks. That's why he was so envious of Lyla's weapon, a growth-type Legendary weapon.

You couldn't even upgrade Legendary weapons through forging.

Not even Master Blacksmith Ryan, the greatest NPC forger in the ga, could do it.

Speaking of which…

Ethan suddenly rembered Ryan…
