Ethan suddenly rembered a hidden quest. And it was connected to the Wishbound Relic.

In his past life, just before his rebirth, he had heard that Zachary had stumbled upon this very quest right after obtaining the Wishbound Relic from him.

But no one knew what the reward was. Zachary never completed the quest.

That said, if it involved Master Blacksmith Ryan, a man with the title of 'Master,' the reward couldn't possibly be diocre.

"Hey, slow down! I said I can slt the ore for you!"

Ethan arrived at the Teleportation Hub, selecting his next destination. Behind him, the apprentice blacksmith, who had been chasing him persistently was calling out.

Glancing back, Ethan thought to himself, 'This guy's relentless.'

The teleportation array activated, and as the apprentice watched Ethan vanish, he muttered under his breath, "Damn, finally found soone who looked gullible, and he just ran off!"

To trigger the hidden quest, Ethan first needed to locate Master Blacksmith Ryan. The problem? Ryan wasn't on Azure. He was on Terra.

And getting to Terra wasn't easy. A Faction Barrier separated the two planets, and Ethan's current level wasn't high enough to pass through it.

But he knew another way.

In his inventory lay the key—an Iron-Tier Necklace, Level 35, the only way he could reach Terra.

This necklace was obtained from the Expert-Level Dungeon he had just cleared, specifically from the treasure chest dropped by that Demonhunter.

Only the first person to open that chest could ever obtain this necklace.

[Demonhunter's Bonefang Necklace]

Tier: Iron

Level: 35

Dark Vision: 5

Attribute #1: Opens a portal to the Shadow Realm (only visible to the wearer). Portal lasts 5 minutes. Cooldown: 7 days.

Attribute #2: Temporarily transforms the wearer into a Carnage Faction player. Duration: 30 minutes. Can be dispelled at will. Cooldown: 1 hour.

After the Faction Barrier was officially unlocked later in the ga, the first ability beca pretty useless.

But the second attribute? Absolute gold. Even in the late ga, fewer than three pieces of equipnt in the entire server had the ability to switch factions.

This was why Ethan had prioritized clearing the Expert-Level Dungeon—to obtain this item first.

If soone else followed his strategy and killed the Demonhunter after him, they wouldn't get the necklace. The first opening of the treasure chest was the only one that mattered.

However, just having the necklace wasn't enough to safely infiltrate enemy territory. To be truly prepared, he needed to acquire a Divine Ability first.

Ethan's next destination? The place where he could obtain [Teleportation].

[Teleportation]

Allows the user to mark specific coordinates and instantly travel between them.

Basic-Level Teleportation: Stores 3 coordinates. Travel range: within 5 km.

Divine Teleportation: Stores 20 coordinates. Travel range: up to 100 km.

The only restriction? Teleportation cannot be used in combat. If engaged in battle, the user must remain out of combat for five minutes before teleporting.

According to legend, the ga Ethereal contained twelve Divine Abilities.

Eleven of them could be obtained within the ga.

And anyone who collected all eleven—each with a Divine Rating, would automatically unlock the twelfth and final Divine Ability.

Legends spoke of a path to godhood, gather all twelve Divine Abilities, and one would ascend.

Then, the final, twelfth ability? It was simply called [Divinity] (Divine). Its effects were unknown. No one had ever obtained all eleven abilities before.

In his past life, even acquiring just one Divine Ability was a feat reserved for the top 0.01% of players. Ethan had known of only a few, and [Teleportation] was one of them.

Anyone who possessed a Divine Ability was guaranteed a spot among the Top 100 Players worldwide.

Of course, these abilities were powerful, but they all ca with a catch.

Upon picking one up, it couldn't be used imdiately. It also couldn't be stored in the Guild Vault or any Personal Bank. The only option was to keep it in the inventory at all tis.

And that wasn't even the worst part.

If the player holding a Divine Ability Scroll was killed, the Scroll would drop 100% of the ti. There was no safe zone protection—it would fall the mont they entered one.

The only way to keep it was to survive for twelve hours while the entire world tried to hunt you down.

Once a Divine Ability appeared in Ethereal, the ga would enter a No-Sleep Period—aning it would no longer shut down at 8 AM. The servers would remain open until the ability was claid and learned.

That's why the mont soone acquired one, all hell would break loose.

Ethan still rembered the longest No-Sleep Period in Ethereal history—79 days.

The cause? A Divine Ability called [Fatal Strike], which granted a ridiculously high chance to deal 5x critical damage.

A random Korean player had picked it up. Within hours, they were hunted down. The Scroll changed hands dozens of tis, passing from one faction to another. Eventually, it ended up in the hands of Eros, the leader of Russia's No.1 Guild—bringing an end to the bloodbath.

Divine Abilities weren't unique, aning they could appear multiple tis.

But whenever one spawned in a country's Warzone, the entire region would beco a battlefield.

Players from other nations would launch full-scale invasions, seeking to claim the ability for themselves.

Right now, however, the Warzone Borders hadn't been unlocked yet.

That ant Ethan had a rare window of opportunity. He could obtain [Teleportation] without worrying about players from other regions chasing him down.

If it weren't for the fact that Northern Frontier only had this one Divine Ability available at the mont, Ethan would've tried to grab as many as possible.

In truth, there were two more Divine Abilities hidden within Northern Frontier.

Each Warzone contained a total of eleven Divine Abilities, and whether a nation could hold onto them depended entirely on their strength.

Back in his previous life, Dragonspire had nine players who wielded Divine Abilities. Among them, two players held two abilities each.

And one madman? He had four.

Six of these abilities were native to Dragonspire—the other five had been stolen from foreign warzones.

These three players were the leaders of Dragonspire's top-tier guilds.

As for the other six abilities, they were scattered among various elite factions.

Ethan had rarely seen these players in action, but the official ga website had posted videos showcasing their power.

He still rembered one battle vividly—

The player who held [Apocalypse] and [Quickstrike], the guild leader of Empire, was a Dual-Blade Berserker who had ascended to the advanced class of Ravager.

During a Guild War, he had charged straight into the enemy forces.

As a Ravager, he already had one of the fastest attack speeds in the ga.

But when combined with [Quickstrike], which further increased his attack rate, and [Apocalypse], which granted unlimited stat point allocation—

His speed and damage output beca utterly terrifying.

It was a massacre.

One step, ten enemies fell. A hundred steps, a thousand were cut down. That battle cented him as one of the strongest players in Ethereal history.

And the other two Divine Ability holders? They each created legends of their own.
