The Lawrence Family was equipped with a personal doctor, and it was just a small scrape on the knee which the doctor imdiately examined. After treating the wound,
he said to Old Master Lawrence, “The Princess has only grazed her knee, no tendons or bones are injured. However, there is so blood stasis in the area of the knee. She needs to rest for two days and try to move as little as possible.”
Old Master Lawrence glanced at Enna; he didn’t seem angry or about to erupt, and simply asked the doctor to prescribe dicine in a detached tone.
Afterwards, he turned to Scarlett who was sitting on the sofa and said apologetically, “The Princess should avoid moving around these next two days. If you don’t mind, please stay here. Once the injury on your knee is better, you can go back.”
His words perfectly aligned with Scarlett’s intentions. After exchanging polite civilities, she agreed to stay.
Old Master Lawrence arranged for the housekeeper to take her to the guest room. Once everyone had left, he turned around expressionlessly, poured himself a cup of tea, took a sip, and his sharp eyes fixed on Enna, “I asked you to take the Princess out for a stroll, and this is how you show her around?”
“You did it on purpose, tripping her, didn’t you?”
“…Yes,” Enna didn’t explain that the reason she tripped Scarlett was that Scarlett had been excessive in her actions first and Enna could no longer bear it and had reacted.
Expecting Old Master Lawrence to erupt in anger, to her surprise, after she admitted it, he didn’t react much and seed not surprised at all, “No next ti. Go out!”

Old Master Lawrence watched her leave with a complicated look, his grip on the dragon-head cane tightening slightly.
He wasn’t a naive twenty-year-old young man; he knew well what had happened today with Scarlett’s fall and injury.
Given Enna’s character, she definitely wouldn’t have struck first. Scarlett must have done sothing excessive to provoke Enna’s response.
His lack of anger was not only because he saw through to the truth, but also for an important reason—if Enna were so weak that she allowed herself to be bullied without fighting back, she wouldn’t be fit to be the mother of his grandson and granddaughter. He also wouldn’t feel at ease continuing to let his grandson stay by her side!
Fortunately, Enna didn’t disappoint him.

He could tell that she was sincerely apologizing.
And the reason for the apology was probably because she felt that her actions had put him in a difficult position.

It was Baron Lawrence!
