Chapter 1533: Chapter 1533: Bobby heard their conversation
Adults’ conversations are mostly a mix of politeness and probing. Bobby grew impatient after listening for a while. He tugged Edward Jackson’s sleeve, whispered a word into his ear, and then walked away alone.
Waitstaff had been paying close attention to them, and as soon as Bobby started walking over, one quickly bent down to ask, “Child, what do you need?”
“Where’s the bathroom?”
“Go to the left and turn the corner, and you’ll be there,” the server replied, aware of his special status, and added, “Never mind, I’ll take you there.”
Bobby didn’t really need to use the bathroom; he was just tired of dealing with such occasions. He decisively declined the server’s offer and headed in the direction of the bathroom on his own.

“No special aning. Young Master Lawrence just sought out and gave a aningful warning. Although he didn’t specify what it was about, I think it must be about your issue. There’s nothing else that would bring Young Master Lawrence personally over to warn ,” the voice continued.
“Baron looked for you?” Skye Lawrence bit her red lips and her beautiful eyes darkened, “What did you say?”
Wasn’t the man talking to her the sa Oscar who had just excused himself to greet other guests?
He leaned against the wall casually, shrugged his shoulders, and said indifferently, “What could I say when Young Master Lawrence warned ? Of course, I indicated that I understood.”
“But you better decide whether you want to cooperate with or not. Young Master Lawrence has beco suspicious, and your ti is running out.”
Skye frowned slightly, remained silent for a mont, then replied, “I understand. I’ll give you my answer as soon as possible.”
Oscar looked at her intensely, his gaze falling on her left hand. Suddenly, his expression darkened slightly, and he straightened up, moved away from the wall, and grabbed her right wrist, “What about the splint on your hand? Did you take it off?”
Skye Lawrence disliked close physical contact, especially with the opposite sex. However, her manners and poise were impeccable. Despite her internal displeasure, her expression barely showed it. She simply shook off the man’s hand and discretely took a step back, her striking face indifferent, “The splint? It’s not suitable for today’s occasion, so I had it temporarily removed.”
Oscar’s expression grew even darker as he stared into her eyes and said, “The doctor ordered you to rest for a month!”
Even if she didn’t rest, she shouldn’t have removed the splint that was ant to stabilize her bones in just one day!
“I don’t have that much ti, and besides, I can’t let others know my hand is injured. It’s just for a little while, and it’s my left hand, so it won’t affect much. Once I’m done here, I’ll have my personal doctor fix it back up,” Skye replied. She didn’t understand why he was ddling; was he getting too involved? Was he forgetting that they were just in a cooperative relationship and not playing the role of boyfriend and girlfriend any longer?
“Alright, I’ve been here too long. I need to get going now,” she said.
Just as she was about to leave, Oscar, always scheming, forcefully grabbed her right arm and led her upstairs. While walking, he said, “Your bone is broken, not rely fractured. Let’s go upstairs; I’ll have soone reapply your splint!”
Skye wanted to say sothing, but Oscar was pulling her along. If she argued with him, they might be seen by others, so she just frowned and let him take her away.
Once they had disappeared up the stairs, Bobby, who had been eavesdropping from the corner, pursed his lips and took out his phone to send a text ssage to Enna Clark.
