Chapter 1767: Chapter 1757: Enna Clark’s Counterasure
Enna Clark disliked making others uncomfortable because of her own matters.
She was silent for a mont, and the fluctuation in her emotions since entering the Human Resources Departnt had unexpectedly cald down. Under the gaze of two pairs of eyes, she relented, “I understand. I’ll co back next week.”
The Human Resources Manager let out a long breath in relief internally, and the well-disguised tension on his face eased. Afraid of being exposed, he quickly returned the resignation report to her, saying happily, “Alright, next week Ms. Clark, just co directly to . As soon as you complete the procedure, I’ll handle it for you imdiately.”
After speaking, he stood up and grabbed the scattered files on the desk, hurriedly saying, “I have to attend a eting now; I’m running late. Ms. Clark, Assistant Terrence, I’ll take my leave first.”
“Alright, go ahead.” After taking care of a major issue, Assistant Terrence also felt significantly relieved, as though the sword hanging around his neck had vanished. He cheerfully said to the Human Resources Manager.
The Human Resources Manager indeed seed very busy, and hurriedly left.
The office was now left with just the two of them.
Enna Clark looked down at the resignation report in her hand, her mind in a state of turmoil.
What should she do now?
Go back to the President’s office?
She hadn’t made up her mind yet when Assistant Terrence was already urging her, “Ms. Clark, let’s go upstairs. I just wanted to ask you for a visitor record for President Lawrence from before. I need it for so statistics.”
He was blatantly making things up.
As the President’s Special Assistant, there was no way he’d waste ti on visitor records.
But he was willing to do anything to keep Ms. Clark.
Enna Clark, knowing he was finding excuses to keep her, took a deep breath, adjusted her mindset, and said, “Alright, let’s go.”
A week is just a week, and she had already decided with Olivia to stay in Country W for another week; the timing matched perfectly.
After one week, she would take Bobby and return to Linton City.
This week… she just needed to co and clock in every day.

Enna Clark followed him to the President’s office and returned to her small office there. She opened her computer, retrieved the docunt of Baron Lawrence’s schedule, and organized it before emailing it to Assistant Terrence’s inbox.
After completing these tasks, she closed her laptop, picked up her belongings, and headed out.
She happened to run into Assistant Terrence, who was coming to find her, holding a freshly brewed cup of coffee. Seeing her co out, he paused and stopped, “Ms. Clark, you…”
Enna Clark quickly said, “I’m heading back. I’ve just sent the schedule record to your email, so check it carefully. Besides that, I don’t have much to handover.”
Since being transferred to Baron Lawrence’s side, she basically hadn’t handled much work, so there wasn’t much for her to hand over.
Enna Clark pondered for a mont and continued, “Apart from this, I reorganized my work docunts into a file and sent it over as well. Take a look if there’s anything useful; if not, you can just toss it in the trash.”
After saying this, her eyes were dark and calm as she said, “I’ll co to clock in every day from now on, after completing a week I’ll return to the Human Resources Departnt. Next ti, I’ll go directly and won’t bother you.”
This way, she wouldn’t make it difficult for them by violating company regulations nor would she have to face Baron Lawrence every day.
