Baron Lawrence heard the small woman beside him breathing steadily, deeply asleep, with a slight hint of a snore.

The next day, sunlight shone in from outside the window, and Enna Clark only managed to open her eyes with difficulty.

Maybe the sunlight from outside was too glaring, she squinted her eyes and placed her hand over them to block the sun.

Enna quite liked Oriental-style breakfast; if she had to eat vegetable salad and bread early in the morning, she would be unaccustod.
