In the afternoon, Li Changsheng and Xia Bin hunted a wild deer. While the deer was still alive, they dug a big pit, inserting many barbed spikes inside.

Finally, they hung the deer up, cut the at, and drained its blood, trying to lure the leopard out.

As a result, no leopards ca, but three wolves were drawn instead.

Fortunately, both of them were ambushed in the trees.

After several waves of sniping at the wolves, each shooting more than ten arrows, they managed to drive the three wolves away.

"Xia Bin, our bow and arrow aren’t powerful enough. Can they really kill a leopard?" Li Changsheng said to Xia Bin so distance away, obviously lacking confidence.

Of the three wolves, only one was seriously injured, while the other two weren’t hurt much. If they hadn’t retreated, they wouldn’t have enough arrows left.

"Our bow indeed isn’t powerful enough, and the arrows aren’t great either. But, we still have javelins, so there’s still a chance. As long as the leopard shows up and tries to eat the deer, we’ll have a chance," Xia Bin said, sliding down from the tree and picking up the arrows.

"But will it really co? What if it’s wolves again, or so other beast?" Li Changsheng took the arrows and asked with so disheartennt.

"Then there’s no need to drive them away; use the trap to kill them directly," Xia Bin looked at Li Changsheng, knowing that being prepared for failure also ans accepting the worst outco.

"But it’s getting dark soon. What do we do next? Continue guarding in the tree, or make a fire on the ground?" Li Changsheng continued to ask; he had only eaten so jerky today, and his stomach was already empty.

Below, there was obviously a deer that could be roasted and eaten.

Xia Bin hesitated; he thought Li Changsheng could hold out for a day.

At that mont, he knew 500 days was out of the question.

Li Changsheng might want the billion, but he doesn’t have the corresponding ability.

"My suggestion is to continue waiting in the trees. After all, the deer has already attracted wolves; it might also attract a leopard," Xia Bin expressed his thoughts, believing it’s bearable to go hungry for a day.

"Then why don’t we eat first? That way, we’ll have more strength to deal with the leopard. Normally, it’s active at night. We spent most of the day catching this deer but haven’t eaten much yet."

"Also, without fire at night, we can’t see anything. How can we hunt the leopard?" Li Changsheng thought Xia Bin’s strategy was correct; setting traps for the leopard was the ideal approach.

But, they shouldn’t fight on an empty stomach!

Without strength, the arrows would lack power.

Actually, he thought they should drag the deer back to camp to set up traps, so they could use the camp to fend off the leopard’s attack.

After all, it wouldn’t understand traps; with a deer to eat, it naturally wouldn’t attack them.

Then, once the leopard falls into the trap, they could co out and use spears and arrows to deal with it more easily, right?

But Xia Bin felt that since there were no leopard tracks near the camp, it might not attract a leopard.

Ti is limited; they can’t wait forever.

So, setting traps near the area with leopard scratches increases the chance of attracting a leopard.

"You have a point too; without firelight, it’s indeed hard to handle a leopard," Xia Bin nodded, not having thought of a solution for that.

After all, leopards have night vision, but humans do not.

So, the two climbed down from the tree and started a fire three or four ters from the trap.

Here, they were only half a ter away from a tree, so if a leopard really attacked, they could quickly climb up the tree.

After eating the roasted antler, Xia Bin and Li Changsheng quietly awaited the leopard’s arrival by the fire.

In the live broadcast room, everyone was discussing ways to deal with the leopard.

Suddenly, a roar erupted in the chat.

A leopard leaped out, landing on Xia Bin’s shoulder, riding him fully.

Xia Bin scread in agony, pressed down to the ground.

Li Changsheng reacted quickly too, grabbing a burning stick and thrashing it forward.

It hit the leopard squarely on the head.

If Li Changsheng had been any slower, the leopard might have bitten through Xia Bin’s neck imdiately.

The leopard, attacked, jumped aside, shaking its head, glaring at Li Changsheng and Xia Bin on the ground.

Instinctively, it sensed danger from the flas.

"Xia Bin, quickly, use the javelin," Li Changsheng gripped the stick tightly in his hands, staring at the leopard without daring to move.

"Ah~" Xia Bin scread, climbing up.

He knew if he didn’t get up and fight the leopard with Li Changsheng, then today he would beco leopard food, dying here.

His back had been clawed by the leopard, blood flowing incessantly.

"Go to hell." Xia Bin grabbed a javelin and forcefully stabbed it out.

He struck accurately, stabbing the leopard directly.

The leopard howled in pain, retreating repeatedly.

The javelin hadn’t pierced the leopard’s skin.

It wasn’t that the javelin wasn’t sharp enough; Xia Bin didn’t have enough strength.

"Co on, co on," Li Changsheng threw the smoldering stick in his hand and quickly picked up a javelin on the ground.

"Xia Bin, are you okay?" Li Changsheng asked nervously, since the leopard hadn’t left and kept growling at them.

"I won’t die," Xia Bin replied. If Li Changsheng hadn’t reacted quickly, he would have had his neck bitten off.

"Should we give up?" Li Changsheng glanced at Xia Bin’s back. He had already felt the threat of death.

Just close, just a bit more, and his good brother would have died in front of him.

"Take a chance, let’s thrust together," Xia Bin was not only unwilling but also very angry. He wanted to kill this leopard and avenge himself.

"But what if we can’t, and we get hurt?" Li Changsheng recognized the terror of the leopard, already very afraid. He didn’t want to die here; giving up now could allow him to reunite with his family, and there was a ten thousand compensation.

If he dies, he’ll have nothing.

"Then give up; I don’t want to die either," Xia Bin said without taking his eyes off the leopard.

"Alright, I’ll call out,"

"1, 2, 3, stab!"

Saying this, they both charged forward, thrusting.

The leopard suddenly leaped, pouncing at them, evading the spears they thrust.

They imdiately sidestepped, trying to avoid it.

But the leopard landed on Li Changsheng’s shoulder, forcefully pushing off.

"Ah..."

Li Changsheng’s shoulder was imdiately slashed open by the sharp claws, and he scread in pain.
