The old woman looked at the ghostly figure and said, "Go prepare so food and drinks. I'll have a few cups with Young Master Qin in a while."
The ghostly figure was about to nod, but Qin Yi stood up and refused, "Let's skip the drinks. I ate too much at the tavern earlier, and I'm full. Let's save the food and drinks for a celebration after the deed is done."
The old woman didn't decline and nodded slightly, "Very well, I'll keep the food and drinks prepared for you."
Qin Yi nodded, "In that case, I shall take my leave first. But I still need the Tower Master's assistance."
"No, you need our assistance," the ghostly figure interjected.
Qin Yi just smiled, turned around, and left.
Not long after Qin Yi exited the grand hall, a furious shout echoed from within, "Blood Killing Tower mbers, hear my command! Kill Qin Yi with all your might!"
The voice was like a thunderclap, echoing throughout the ruins.
Qin Yi glanced back, a slight smirk on his lips, then turned and sped away as a streak of light.
As Qin Yi moved, many figures erged from the ruins, comncing a pursuit.
Qin Yi could afford to slow down. He ran ahead with a crowd chasing behind, creating quite a lively scene.
Inside the hall, the ghostly figure was utterly bewildered.
The old woman glanced at him, "Don't understand?"
The ghostly figure lowered his head, nodding slightly.
The old woman sighed, "You did a great deed this ti, ghostly figure. This Qin Yi is no simple man; he's like a bringer of wealth, delivering a fortune to us, far more than the ager earnings from the Sword Sect."
The ghostly figure was still puzzled.
The old woman said, "I barely exchanged a palm strike with Qin Yi earlier. Do you know what the result was?"
The ghostly figure remained silent. Qin Yi had no change, but the Tower Master had blood at the corner of his mouth, making the outco obvious.
The old woman remained silent for a while, "This young man is remarkable, and he can't be allowed to stay."
The ghostly figure still looked bewildered, but the old woman had lost interest in conversing further. He wisely bowed and retreated.
...
anwhile, Qin Yi, with Blood Killing Tower mbers hot on his heels, charged straight into the busiest part of Sin City.
Which only made things more chaotic. Upon hearing that Qin Yi was the one being pursued by Blood Killing Tower, all Qi Refiners went into a frenzy, taking advantage of the chaos to try and surround and kill Qin Yi, hoping to claim the bounty.
Qin Yi darted left and right, killing or wounding dozens, but he was also injured and fled in a sorry state.
All the Qi Refiners, seeing Qin Yi injured, naturally wouldn't let go of the opportunity to kill him and pursued him relentlessly. However, they underestimated Qin Yi's speed and ended up being led on a wild chase around the city, only for Qin Yi to disappear without a trace.
The news of Qin Yi being injured excited all Qi Refiners, believing it would be easier to kill him.
The whole city was looking for Qin Yi.
But Qin Yi appeared in the Soul Chasing rcenary Group instead.
...
Everyone was searching for Qin Yi, yet he had mysteriously vanished.
However, there were major developnts in the city over the past two days.
First, the Poison Snake Organization opened a betting pool on Qin Yi's challenge to the Sin Tower. With Qin Yi's odds at one to ten, and Sin Tower's at one to two.
Even though Qin Yi's odds were higher, everyone bet on Sin Tower.
It seed no one believed in Qin Yi, a man being chased by Blood Killing Tower, who was foolishly thinking of challenging Sin Tower. Wasn't that courting death?
The second event was that Sin City's Qi Refiners went crazy because they couldn't find Qin Yi.
Everyone knew that once Qin Yi reached Sin Tower, they would lose the chance to kill him. Acting in front of Sin Tower was equivalent to seeking death. With only a day left, Sin City's Qi Refiners were driven to desperation, determined to find and kill Qin Yi.
As for Qin Yi, he left the Soul Chasing rcenary Group on the morning of the third day. When he left, his lips were greasy and he slled of alcohol, indicating he had a good ti at the Soul Chasing rcenary Group.
Only the Soul Chasing rcenary Group knew that when Qin Yi arrived the previous day, he demonstrated his powers and severely injured the Great Commander with a single palm strike.
Yet, the Great Commander didn't pursue the matter and instead conspired with Qin Yi for several hours. When they erged, the two acted like long-lost brothers, treating Qin Yi to a lavish al, and Qin Yi even stayed overnight, only leaving in the morning.
The disciples of the Soul Chasing rcenary Group were bewildered. But a strict order ca from the top, forbidding anyone from ntioning Qin Yi's presence at the Soul Chasing rcenary Group, with the penalty of death.
After leaving the Soul Chasing rcenary Group, Qin Yi found an isolated spot, altered his appearance, and then brazenly walked along the street. He even joined other Qi Refiners searching for him, putting in extra effort.
"Where do you guys think Qin Yi is hiding? The entire Sin City has been turned over, and not even a shadow has been found."
"Could he have escaped Sin City?"
"It's possible. After all, tomorrow is the day he challenges Sin Tower. If he's not foolish, he would definitely escape, otherwise, he's just seeking death."
At this point, Qin Yi was with a four-person team seeking him, and since he was alone, they invited him to join their team to search throughout the city.
These individuals weren't highly cultivated, with the strongest being Li Da, who was only at the late Nascent Soul stage.
Exhausted from searching, they sat down to rest.
"Hey, Brother Xia, what do you think?"
Li Da looked at Qin Yi and asked.
Qin Yi was briefly taken aback, realizing Li Da was addressing him. When asked for his na earlier, he had borrowed Xia Yanbing's surna.
Qin Yi spoke mysteriously, "I have reliable information that Qin Yi will definitely appear before Sin Tower tomorrow."
The group imdiately showed interest.
Li Da asked, "Where did you get this information?"
"I can't say. Revealing it would cost my life. But I'll tell you, this information is absolutely reliable. To be honest, I've seen Qin Yi in person."
The group was instantly captivated.
"Brother Xia, tell us, is Qin Yi really three zhang tall, with a broad and round waist, wielding two mountain-sized axes, resembling a fiery ape with imnse strength?"
These people were searching for Qin Yi, but not everyone had seen him.
Qin Yi's mouth twitched violently. Damn, these bastards, do they think I'm so sort of unevolved ape?
"Let tell you, the rumors out there aren't accurate at all. I've seen Qin Yi in person, and his appearance is that of the most handso man under the heavens, charming and talented. Even a Demoted Immortal would feel inferior upon seeing Qin Yi. Besides, his cultivation is deep, rarely eting an opponent; he's undefeated across the world."
Li Da and the others were left in shock.
"Really? Sounds too fantastical. Is there really such a perfect person?"
Qin Yi replied solemnly, "Don't doubt. I'm speaking from experience because I've seen Qin Yi myself. I've never seen such a perfect person in my life, embodying beauty and wisdom, strength, and gallantry, simply flawless. Think about it, soone who can single-handedly overturn a Sword Sect branch, and leave the Sword Sect helpless, can such a person not be perfect?"
"Brother Xia makes a good point."
Li Da and the others nodded in agreent.
