"What’s it to you? Mind your own business."
The man probably hadn’t suffered any setbacks or been beaten by society. He seed irritated and embarrassed by the people around him, speaking quite rudely.
His words made the people around even angrier.
"Young man, how can you speak like that?"
"Exactly! When your child was lost, everyone helped look for them. It’s fine if you’re not grateful, but how can you talk like that?"
The man roared, "What do you think you are? What right do you have to lecture here? You chose to help yourselves; I didn’t ask for it."
However, at this mont, a sudden, piercing scream startled everyone.
Everyone stared, just in ti to see Liu Yiren move her foot off the leg of the honest man.
"My leg, my leg is broken..." The middle-aged man held his leg, screaming in agony, rolling around on the ground in pain.
Liu Yiren looked at Qin Yi and said with a smile, "This guy tried to run, so as you suggested, I broke his leg."
The crowd was dumbfounded, could a cute little girl be so violent?
Of course, they only felt relieved; no one would bla Liu Yiren. They only thought she wasn’t harsh enough because there’s zero tolerance for traffickers.
Online, the loudest voices called for the imdiate execution of traffickers upon capture.
Liu Yiren walked back, looking at the father of the child with a defiant look on his face.
"Can you still speak human language with that mouth of yours? Everyone was busy helping look for your child. And now you’re biting people like a mad dog—are you even human?"
"Mind your damn business, for all I know, you’re in cahoots with those two traffickers," the man blurted out without thinking.
The crowd frowned; even a fool could tell that was impossible. Who steals a child and then finds them in front of the police? Are there such stupid people in the world?
Bam!
Liu Yiren kicked the man several ters away.
"Damn, I’ve lived for eighteen years and never seen soone as shaless as you."
Liu Yiren, being a Qi Refiner, might not have high cultivation, but she’s not soone an ordinary person can withstand.
That kick left the man unable to speak from the pain, feeling like his intestines were tied in knots, his face twisted, unable to keep even his saliva in.
Still not satisfied, Liu Yiren rushed up and started stomping on the man.
"Bastard, trash, scum, are you even human?"
"With a father like you, I’m starting to worry for those children’s future."
"What are you, even a dog has more humanity than you."
Liu Yiren kicked and stomped, leaving the man rolling on the ground.
"Please, stop hitting him, please..." A woman pleaded, begging Liu Yiren to stop.
"Yiren!" Qin Yi called out.
Only then did Liu Yiren stop, spitting in disgust, "What garbage, even worse than a dog!"
The leading policeman seed about to say sothing but was interrupted by a phone call. After the call, he acted as if nothing had happened.
The call was to confirm that Liu Yiren was indeed the eldest miss of the Liu Family.
Just then, the train whistle blew, signaling departure.
Though Qin Yi couldn’t see, he accurately faced the lead policeman and said, "I’ll leave the rest to you."
The policeman nodded, "Hurry up and get on the train, it’s about to leave!"
Qin Yi called Liu Yiren to board the train.
The gathering crowd spat at the man in disgust, cursing him for deserving what he got.
The two traffickers were swiftly handcuffed and led away, facing the strictest judgnt of the law.
dical personnel ca to take the two children and the injured man to the hospital.
...
"I’m so angry, so angry..."
Aboard the train, Liu Yiren was still not cald down, bouncing around the compartnt.
Qin Yi couldn’t help but smile, "Did that little clown make you so angry?"
"Aren’t you mad? That bastard was so vile, and we saved his child! It’s fine if he’s not grateful, but to be so rude, he really needed a beating."
Qin Yi chuckled, "Our goal was to rescue those two children. Once the goal was achieved, running into an annoying toad along the way isn’t that important, right?"
"Besides, you beat him pretty badly!"
Liu Yiren thought for a mont and couldn’t help but laugh, "You’re right! I hope those two adorable babies are blessed and safe after this ordeal."
Qin Yi chuckled lightly, indeed a child’s nature; her anger cos and goes quickly.
However, Liu Yiren is indeed kind-hearted deep inside.
"By the way, Qin Yi, how did you find the two babies in the suitcase?"
Qin Yi smiled softly, "Breathing! Though the babies were unconscious, their breathing was weak. My eyes can’t see, but my hearing is several tis sharper, picking up what you can’t hear."
"Oh, I never thought being blind could have such benefits. Rescuing two young lives makes being blind worthwhile!"
Qin Yi: "..."
He suddenly lost interest in chatting with Liu Yiren.
...
The two arrived in Qianxing City at just past one in the morning.
Since they hadn’t inford the Liu Family, they took a cab there.
"Look, isn’t our ho beautiful?"
Once they got out of the cab, Liu Yiren excitedly said to Qin Yi.
Qin Yi’s mouth twitched.
"Oops! Sorry, I forgot you can’t see."
Qin Yi shook his head, used to Liu Yiren’s thoughtless comnts.
"Co on, I’ll lead you!"
Liu Yiren took Qin Yi’s hand and led him toward the manor ahead.
"Who’s there?"
Not even close, they were spotted by the guards at the gate of the Liu Family.
The Liu Family, like the Diao Family, had only about twenty Qi Refiners; the rest were ordinary people skilled in martial arts, and these four were not Qi Refiners.
"Are you blind? Don’t recognize ?" Liu Yiren arrogantly said.
The four n ca closer, startled upon recognizing Liu Yiren.
"Miss has returned?"
"Quick, report inside."
Liu Yiren snorted and led Qin Yi inside.
"Miss, how did you co back? Why didn’t you call us to pick you up?"
"You’re wise after the event, dumb as a pig before. Why didn’t you say earlier? Only talking after I’m back."
The guard looked wronged, muttering softly, "We didn’t know Miss was coming back!"
"Oh, you’ve got so nerve now, daring to talk back?"
"No, no, Miss is always right." The guard quickly backed down.
"Hmph, smart of you to know!"
Liu Yiren led Qin Yi proudly into the house.
Halfway through, two elderly n with white hair and beards ca swiftly toward them.
"My precious granddaughter is back? Haha..."
The two old n’s laughter was hearty.
"Grandpa, Second Grandpa..."
Liu Yiren let go of Qin Yi’s hand, like a swallow returning to the nest, rushing toward the two old n.
