Lan Wangxu’s voice was hoarse and desolate, full of disappointnt. Being bewitched by his most beloved closed-door disciple, it was already a testant to the old man’s resilience that he hadn’t completely broken down.

"You’re letting go?" Lan Tianji asked, full of disbelief.

"Fine, I’ll investigate." Lan Tianji said, suddenly raising his hand. Three steel needles, as long as chopsticks, shot towards the bed where Lan Wangxu lay.
Everyone’s faces changed dramatically, none expected Lan Tianji to attack so suddenly.

With three light sounds, Essence Energy surged. Uncle Chen, standing behind Jiaojiao, suddenly intervened, knocking down all three steel needles.
Everyone was ashen, their hearts filled with lingering fear.

"Lan Wangxu, no matter what you say today, I’m going to kill you." Lan Tianji wrapped himself in surging Essence Energy, pouncing at Lan Wangxu with a ferocious expression.
Uncle Chen’s Qi surged as he directly charged at Lan Tianji.

The two collided fiercely, terrifying Essence Energy sweeping out, Uncle Chen groaned as he was sent crashing into a wall, spitting a mouthful of fresh blood.
Everyone’s faces changed drastically.
Lan Jiaojiao’s face turned white, quickly stepping in front of Lan Wangxu.
Lan Tianji laughed wildly, "Who can stop here? Lan Wangxu, though the curse on you is lifted, your body is weak. You’re destined to die."
In the Lan Family, not everyone practiced Qi Cultivation. Those who succeeded were one in a million. Only Lan Wangxu and Uncle Chen had cultivated Essence Energy, Jiaojiao hadn’t.
So, everyone was panicked; if even Uncle Chen couldn’t stop him, who could stop Lan Tianji?
"Step aside," Lan Tianji snarled at Lan Jiaojiao, looking ferocious.
Lan Jiaojiao bit her red lips, stubbornly saying, "If you want to kill Grandfather, kill first."
"You think I won’t?" Lan Tianji sneered, raising his hand, about to strike at Lan Jiaojiao.
"Hey, show so respect to , will you?" Qin Yi suddenly shouted. He didn’t like being ostentatious, but neither did he like being ignored.
Lan Tianji looked sharply at Qin Yi, his gaze icy and spoke coldly, "I almost forgot about you. It’s all because of you, this cripple, that I couldn’t kill the old thief Lan Wangxu before turning to you. Since you’re in such a hurry to die, I’ll grant your wish."
