Dan gazed with profound intensity and deep concentration at the newborn twin infants sleeping peacefully before him. Through his transcendent senses and his acute perception of Natural Energy, he observed with absolute clarity how the energy perating the air was converging directly upon them. It gathered and condensed into a tight sphere encompassing their small forms—as if they were a powerful focal point, a natural magnet drawing the world's essence toward them without any conscious effort.
Fine, shimring threads of pure Natural Energy swirled slowly around them, drawing closer until they brushed against their delicate skin. It was a bizarre phenonon, one that appeared utterly exceptional.
He imrsed himself in rigorous analysis, seeking the true catalyst behind this unprecedented occurrence. Why was this happening? Was it a biological anomaly or a spiritual resonance? A latent talent? A genetic mutation? Or perhaps sothing else entirely? His enhanced brain operated at staggering speeds—linking data, drawing deductions, and cross-referencing this event with every fragnt of knowledge he possessed.
In those first monts following the twins' birth, when this strange phenonon manifested so suddenly, Dan had felt his internal alarms surge to their absolute peak. His instincts, honed like those of an apex predator, triggered a primal, imdiate response. Without a mont's delay, he had activated the full defensive periter of the base at maximum output and elevated his combat readiness to the highest tier. His Chakra was coiled, his body tensed, and his mind prepared to strike or defend at the slightest provocation.
Initially, he suspected that this sudden surge of energy might be a sophisticated, veiled attack—an ambush orchestrated by an entity like the Sage of the Six Paths himself, or perhaps a mber of the extraterrestrial Otsutsuki Clan. He feared a strike delivered through the infants, targeting him or the children directly—a hidden curse, a clandestine seal, or a complex temporal technique. In this world of shadows and ancient secrets, nothing could be ruled out.
However, after scanning the environnt with his full sensory potency, dissecting every vibration and inspecting every atom of energy, he reached a clear and comforting conclusion: This was no attack. There was no curse, no seal, and no external threat. It was a natural phenonon—or rather, an extraordinary innate gift residing within the twins. Sothing internal. Sothing biological.
Despite his current monuntal power—power he was confident could facilitate the neutralization of the Sage of the Six Paths in a direct confrontation—he remained acutely aware of the world's hidden dangers. While he felt capable of sealing or imprisoning even the most legendary figures of Shinobi history, he knew that the figures he was aware of, like Shibai Otsutsuki, might only represent the tip of the iceberg. There could be others lurking in the shadows of distant dinsions. Therefore, he chose to maintain maximum vigilance. Excessive caution was a thousand tis preferable to the fatal sting of overconfidence. Survival remained the absolute priority.
He looked back at the twin girls, truly marveled by this unique talent they displayed from their very first breaths. Their affinity for Natural Energy was staggering—not rely a high compatibility, but a transcendent, supernatural harmony. It was as if they were born in perfect resonance with the core of nature itself. This talent would undoubtedly be considered unique in the recorded history of this world.
Slowly, he raised his head and looked at Ren, his first wife and the mother of the twins. She was waiting in silence upon the bed, her eyes clouded with visible anxiety and a hidden, lingering fear. She sought reassurance; she needed to understand what was happening to her children.
"There is no cause for concern," Dan said in a calm, soothing voice. He paused briefly before continuing. "I have analyzed the infants thoroughly. They are in excellent condition."
His smile widened slightly, his tone carrying a note of unmistakable pride. "In fact, they are far better than rely 'well.' They possess a potent and unique talent, the likes of which has not been seen in this entire family until now."
His words were clear, direct, and liberating. Ren finally exhaled, a deep sigh of relief escaping her as she closed her eyes for a mont. A warm, radiant smile touched her face. In truth, Ren cared little for whether her children possessed supernatural talents or mundane abilities. Strength or weakness, genius or average—these were secondary. To her, the only thing that mattered was that they were healthy, safe, and alive. Now that her husband had given his word, her peace was restored.
After a few monts of comfortable silence, she looked up at Dan with a tender, affectionate gaze. "Can you na them... my husband?" she asked softly.
Dan grew silent for a mont, bowing his head as he refocused on the twins. Two small, beautiful, and exceptionally gifted girls. They required nas that carried weight—beautiful nas, rich in aning, worthy of their arrival.
He pondered in silence, nas flickering through his rapid thoughts like leaves in a gale. Which was suitable? Which carried the right essence? This was a permanent, vital decision. A na shapes an identity; it echoes into the future. It had to be chosen with absolute wisdom.
