Now reading: Chapter 103 103: Sera and Nira from Longevity in Naruto, a Action novel by Dicard4.

"Sera... and Nira."

Dan spoke in a low voice, yet it was perfectly clear and audible as he gazed at the two infants sleeping in tranquil silence.

"From this day forward, you shall be known as... Sera and Nira."

The words were simple, decisive, and final. The nas were chosen; the decree was set. Sera, the firstborn, elder by only a few minutes. And Nira, the second, the younger twin. Beautiful nas—similar yet distinct, mirroring the unbreakable bond that would inevitably weave through their lives.

Ren approached the small bassinets slowly. She began to touch them with a warmth that radiated from her soul, her slender fingers brushing against their tiny faces and soft cheeks. A wide smile, brimming with happiness and a mother's pride, never left her features.

"Did you hear that, my little ones?" she whispered tenderly, as if they could already grasp the weight of language. Her smile deepened. "Your father has given you your own beautiful nas." She stroked their heads with imnse affection. "From now on, you are Sera and Nira." She repeated the nas, savoring the sound of them. "Sera... Nira... my beautiful girls."

After spending ti in the room to ensure both the mother and the infants were comfortable, Dan slowly made his way back to his private laboratory in the depths of the base—the sanctuary where he conducted the vast majority of his research and experints. He closed the door quietly and sat in his usual chair before a large table cluttered with scrolls and papers.

However, he did not unfurl a single scroll. He did not pick up a brush to write. Instead, he sat in absolute stillness. He was entirely imrsed in deep thought, conducting an intensive analysis of the anomalous event that had transpired that day.

What exactly happened?

This was the pivotal, central question. Why did the twins—Sera and Nira—automatically attract Natural Energy from the mont of their birth? What was the catalyst? Was it biological, genetic, or spiritual?

Firstly, he was absolutely certain—based on his surgical examination—that no external entity had interfered to cause this phenonon. There was no hidden attack, no planted curse, no outside manipulation. It was an internal, natural, and innate occurrence. He held this certainty because of one undeniable fact: nothing on this planet could evade his vast and precise Network or his unnervingly sharp senses.

Even the Sage of the Six Paths himself, Hagoromo Otsutsuki—the living legend and founder of Ninshu—even in his current incorporeal state as a wandering consciousness, could not approach Dan's territory without being detected. Even Kaguya would fail to remain hidden. Dan possessed this ironclad conviction because, with the latest enhancents to his mind, he could now sense ti and space themselves in minute detail. He felt the spatio-temporal fabric; he felt the distortions; he felt the subtle shifts. Even a bodiless soul creates a minute ripple in that fabric, and that ripple was enough for Dan to identify it. Therefore, any lesser concealnt was aningless. Any living being, any technique, any intervention would be discovered instantly.

This left only one logical conclusion: a natural genetic mutation. Or rather, a rare, innate talent that the twins possessed from birth. Sothing within their genetic code, their biological structure, or perhaps their very souls, rendered them exceptionally resonant with the Natural Energy of the world. A rare gift.

Yet, another vital question remained. Did this talent awaken randomly, by re chance? Or did they inherit it from him as a result of his own affinity for Natural Energy?

It was a significant distinction. In truth, Dan himself could produce the exact sa effect—drawing and manipulating Natural Energy with ease—especially after the recent application of the Vitality Seal on his brain and nervous system. Long before this, he had acquired the ability to sense the surrounding energy during his training with the Depth Seal, a technique that compressed air and Natural Energy together. Because of the sheer concentration of energy in his training environnt, he had beco capable of sensing it clearly.

However, he had not delved deeper into that field at the ti. He hadn't developed the ability to a level of total control or active manipulation. It remained a "sensation"—he could feel it, but he did not command it, at least not to the degree he could now. With his enhanced cognitive and sensory capacities, he had finally gained true mastery over Natural Energy. He could attract it, move it, and shape it. A complete, active, and effective power.

But he had not yet decided to use it seriously or develop techniques based upon it. He viewed his research in this area as relatively shallow and incomplete. It required more ti, deeper study, and further experintation before he would integrate it into his primary arsenal. Caution first, deep understanding second, application last—this was his eternal, safe, and efficient thodology.

There was, however, a fundantal difference between himself and the twins. To influence or attract Natural Energy, Dan had to use his conscious will and direct intent with full awareness. The twins, conversely, attracted it naturally and automatically. Without conscious control. Without intent. Without effort. They were like living magnets. It happened spontaneously, continuously, and without pause.

This distinction was critical. It ant their talent was deeper, more rooted, and entirely innate. It wasn't sothing acquired; it was part of their fundantal nature—a nature that was as impressive as it was potentially dangerous.

"It seems the study of Natural Energy has beco a priority now," he murmured softly to the empty room.

The decision was made. He would place the research of Natural Energy at the forefront of his future plans. He knew from his knowledge of the original history of this world that Natural Energy was extrely perilous if misused. It could turn a user to stone or cause horrific physical mutations and death if control was lost. Dan, with his commanding and thodical nature, loathed things that existed outside of his control and understanding. Chaos and the dangerous unknown bothered him; they made him wary.

His children were now entangled in this mystery. He would find a practical and beneficial way to utilize this potent energy, developing new techniques to expand his own power while forging a safe, clear path for his daughters. He would transform their raw talent into a disciplined, controlled, and formidable force.
