One week after the death of the founding king Ayato, including the three official days of mourning, the capital of the Blue Dragon Kingdom was now hosting an enormous and extravagant celebration for the coronation of the crown prince upon the royal throne.

Great feasts had been prepared across the entire kingdom, from the largest cities to the smallest villages. Free food and abundant drink were distributed everywhere while everyone ate and celebrated happily, and official proclamations were issued declaring complete tax exemption for the entire coming year.

As a result, everyone was joyful. Farrs and rchants alike smiled with satisfaction, and it almost seed as though the grief they had shown during the previous days over the death of their savior had never existed at all. In truth, this was only natural. Common people usually cared most about whoever could ease the burdens of life and keep their stomachs full.

Royal pardons were also granted to many prisoners convicted of minor cris, while sentences for those guilty of moderate offenses were reduced. Only dangerous criminals such as murderers and traitors were excluded from the amnesty.

All of this greatly reassured the ordinary citizens who had been deeply worried that the kingdom's excellent policies might change for the worse under the new ruler. Many had feared whether the new king would preserve his father's legacy, but the recent decrees cald their concerns. Thus, throughout the entire kingdom, an atmosphere of joy and celebration replaced the earlier days of sorrow and anxiety. Tears beca smiles, and black mourning colors gave way to vibrant celebration.

As for the capital itself, its appearance had changed completely over the past years. The city had been entirely reconstructed and redesigned according to a distinctive layout personally proposed by Dan to Sato — the design of ancient Baghdad from his previous world.

Dan had always admired that brilliant architectural concept, a massive circular city composed of several rings with a grand royal palace standing at the center and four main entrances aligned north, south, east, and west. Thus, the entire capital had been rebuilt following his suggestion into a gigantic circular tropolis ford from four massive concentric rings.

The first ring consisted of simple residential districts, workers' hos, and public markets. The second ring contained the grand markets, comrcial districts, and the residences of rchants. The third ring was reserved for the mansions of nobles, governnt buildings, and the hos of high-ranking officials. As for the fourth ring, it contained the royal gardens and the palaces of the princes and ruling family, and at the very center of it all stood an enormous sky-blue royal palace visible from every part of the region. Even from far beyond the capital itself, its many beautiful towers could still be seen rising into the horizon.

Because of this, any visitor or rchant arriving in the capital for the first ti was left deeply shocked by both its beauty and its unique design, especially since the world itself was heavily influenced by traditional Japanese culture, causing most cities and villages to resemble old Japanese settlents.

The Blue Dragon Kingdom therefore possessed an architectural style completely different from anywhere else, sothing entirely unique. Furthermore, due to the kingdom's successful policies throughout the previous years, its population had increased enormously through both heavy immigration from neighboring lands and natural population growth. The capital alone now contained nearly two and a half million people, an absolutely enormous number for such a primitive era, especially considering that even the most prosperous cities in other regions barely exceeded populations of a few tens of thousands.

Inside one of the grand halls of the massive royal palace, a handso young man entered wearing a golden crown decorated with precious jewels alongside luxurious blue-and-gold royal garnts. He was the new king and forr crown prince, the son of Ayato himself. He walked directly toward the seating area where Sato sat calmly drinking tea while reading a scroll in his hand with complete focus.

The young king sat down before him and spoke in a tired yet relieved voice.

"Finally . All those exhausting and endless ceremonies are over!"

Sato lifted his gaze toward him, smiled lightly, and replied,

"Well done ."

He paused, took another sip of tea, and continued,

"Your coronation ceremony passed very smoothly and successfully."

The young king answered gratefully,

"Thank you, Master. Even though it was exhausting and troubleso, it is still my responsibility and the role I must fulfill."

Sato responded in a calm and reassuring voice,

"Well then, you may now rest or go on your usual hunting trips as long as you do not neglect the necessary official etings. I will handle the affairs of governance and administration."

The young king smiled warmly, bowed slightly toward Sato with respect, and said,

"Thank you very much, wise teacher."
