Although his face was pale and desolate, he spoke with ease and humor, even still full of energy, with a deep voice, and seed more concerned about losing face than being captured.
Such an indifferent attitude towards life and death inspired Wang Ba’s admiration.
He couldn’t help but feel a bit more favorable towards him.
However, his gaze involuntarily fell on the opponent’s hand, holding a jade staff of lush green.
The characters "Silkworm Dragon" carved on the jade staff were remarkably similar to the inscriptions on the two Dao Treasures in his Primordial Spirit: the "Land-Parting" and "Wind Drive."
At first glance, he was filled with disbelief, but upon closer inspection, he was certain—the "Silkworm Dragon Staff" in the old man’s hand was indeed from the sa origin as his Wind-Driving Staff and Land-Parting Staff.
He was hesitating whether to step forward and inquire.
Right at this mont, seemingly benefiting from the replenishnt by the surrounding Demonic Beasts, the condition of the old man in white improved slightly. He glanced at Wang Ba, pondered, and said:
"My status has not fully recovered. Earlier, it was rely scaring away that little monk. If the people of the Supre True Buddha return, we might still encounter danger. Would Little Friend Wang be willing to leave this place with first?"
Wang Ba was taken aback, as he had the sa idea, but he was sowhat concerned about the Divine Corpse Six Fingers and Jiu Futu still waiting for him.
Seeing Wang Ba’s hesitation, the old man in white smiled slightly and said:
"If Little Friend Wang has other plans, then forget it. I have urgent matters to attend to and won’t stay long. However, since you have offended the Northern Great Bodhisattva of the Supre True Buddha and exposed the Dao Treasure in your possession, the road ahead might not be easy..."
His words were sincere, with a hint of the warmth of caring for a junior.
Wang Ba’s heart stirred, and he imdiately realized the implied aning in the elder’s words. He rembered that this man was the Realm Master of the Canlong Realm, one of the Four Great Realms. Although the Canlong Realm had already perished, the opponent was still a Mahayana Cultivator who might be able to provide so invaluable information.
The most crucial point was that with such power to easily wound the Northern Great Bodhisattva, there was no need for the other party to deceive him intentionally.
Opportunities once missed are hard to co by again. So, Wang Ba quickly made up his mind after a brief consideration and nodded, saying:
"Then I would be grateful for Senior Chao’s bother."
The elder in white smiled faintly and spoke softly:
"Don’t resist."
Wang Ba was stunned, and the next mont, an enormous gaping mouth suddenly appeared from the side and swallowed him whole!
...
"Where is this...?"
A Demonic Beast, resembling a giant serpent, slowly opened its jaws on the lush grassland.
The figure of Wang Ba imdiately flew out, casting a perplexed look around.
All he saw was an endless stretch of grassland before him.
The sun hung high in the sky.
Nurous beasts galloped freely across the grassland, with the faint presence of cultivators in the midst, a scene of harmonious tranquility...
"This is the Canlong Realm."
At that mont, the voice of the elder in white resounded abruptly from behind him.
"Canlong Realm?"
"Wasn’t the Canlong Realm already..."
Wang Ba turned around in astonishnt, finding the elder in white standing not far behind him, hands clasped behind his back, his gaze also directed forward beyond Wang Ba.
Upon hearing the words, he nodded and said:
"The Canlong Realm was indeed breached by the Supre True Buddha... Yet, with my current realm, though I cannot create a new Domain out of thin air, I can preserve the rules of the Canlong Realm, find a Domain to occupy, and gradually assimilate other Domains to once again develop a Great Realm capable of supporting Mahayana Cultivators—this is not impossible."
Wang Ba was slightly taken aback, his eyes suddenly brightening:
"Senior is saying that it’s possible to break the limits of a Domain?"
The elder in white nodded:
"Of course it’s possible. The way of the Realm Sea has never been an absolute dead end. Domains are the sa. It’s just that few people know this thod, and even those who do rarely pass it on."
Wang Ba, nonetheless, felt imasurable excitent, quickly grasping why this kind of Dharma was unknown.
The reason was simple: If such thods of Domain breakthrough really spread, it would inevitably instigate countless slaughter and conflict within the Realm Sea.
Moreover, no one could guarantee that their own Domain wouldn’t beco the food for another’s Domain.
The elder in white supplented further:
"However, Domain rger is not a simple task. If the one leading lacks a sufficient realm, such as Mahayana, or even enough mastery over the rules, ideally having both, only then can it be achieved."
"Because wanting to surpass the natural limits of a Domain requires a cultivator to thoroughly understand the rules of their Domain, and the chosen Domain must complent it. First, break the rules of the Domain—note, break the rules, not the Domain itself—and then use a Secret Technique, layer upon layer, to construct a higher-stage Domain."
Wang Ba suddenly realized.
Domain rules were like bricks, and to make a Domain break through its original limits was like transforming a one-story house into a two-story building, requiring dismantling the roof first and then carefully choosing suitable bricks to lay.
The principle was so straightforward, but accomplishing it required both ample realm and understanding of the rules.
On this point, Wang Ba had considerable confidence.
His insights into the laws of Little Cang World were profoundly thorough, and he had grasped the core of Little Cang World, leaving no secrets in front of him.
Considering the situation of Little Cang World, he imdiately thought of the deteriorating Yunhuo Realm where Tao Bingji once resided.
That Domain had already declined incredibly and would inevitably continue towards extinction. It would be better to serve as nourishnt for Little Cang World. Of course, the cultivators within Yunhuo Realm would indeed be well taken care of...
