Capítulo 2254: Chapter 52: Six Wicks_3
A thought flashed through his mind, and he couldn’t help but bow to the elder in white:
“The realm where this junior resides is trapped at its limit and cannot break through. I earnestly request the elder to bestow this Dharma upon . I can swear to never divulge it!”
The elder in white, upon hearing this, stroked his long beard lightly and turned to look at Wang Ba, with a contemplative expression in his eyes.
Wang Ba felt a slight heaviness in his heart and whispered:
“Does the elder have any concerns?”
The elder in white snapped out of his reverie and shook his head with a light smile:
“Concerns, I have none. This Dharma is generally of no use to those who need it, and those who can use it often don’t need it. Even if I give it to you, it won’t have much impact…”
“However, young friend, if you co from an ordinary realm and can bring out five pieces of top-grade Innate Dao Treasure, these treasures are extrely rare. Even in my Canlong Realm, I only have one. And your Dao Domain is so robust and unparalleled that even I have never seen anything like it in my life. It’s quite… quite surprising.”
Wang Ba’s heart tightened slightly, but he quickly steadied himself because he sensed no covetous intent from the elder regarding his Dao Treasure. He then explained:
“Elder, your insight is penetrating. My cultivation realm and treasures are indeed due to fortuitous circumstances, and not much related to the realm of my origin.”
“Oh?”
The elder in white expressed curiosity:
“Since there’s not much relation, why not directly ascend to The Heavens, rather than pushing the realm to its limits? This process can be quite troubleso.”
Hearing this, Wang Ba hesitated for a mont but decided not to hide the situation of Little Cang World, only omitting the larger backdrop of the Sea of Chaos Realm.
The elder in white shook his head repeatedly, lanting:
“You can’t bear to see your sect and peers fall into extinction, so you’re unwilling to ascend alone, choosing instead to take a realm with you in wandering. Such spirit is considerable, but be aware that not just Cultivators but even realms and this entire Realm Sea have an end. If one does not go to The Heavens, everything ultimately becos void, and no matter how extraordinary, all end as dust!”
“Why endure such hardship?”
Wang Ba could only smile wryly:
“Everyone has attachnts; without attachnt, the uppermost detachnt is no different from the plants here.”
“To this junior, immortality is indeed a pursuit, but not a lifeless immortality. If all life is silent and I move forward alone, how lonely would that be?”
The elder in white sighed and seed unsupportive of Wang Ba’s choice and inquired:
“Then let ask you, the path to immortality is perilous, and you take a realm with you. If you fail midway, what then?”
This ti, Wang Ba was much calr and replied earnestly:
“Nothing but a clear conscience.”
The elder in white frowned and stared at Wang Ba with apparent displeasure:
“Is this truly what you believe?”
Even with just a slight frown, the dominance of a Mahayana Cultivator had an unsettling effect on Wang Ba, causing him to be wary.
Having journeyed this far, perhaps his firm Dao-heart was no less than that of the Immortal Pass.
Moreover, one cannot deceive a True Man, so he replied sincerely:
“The elder may not approve, but this truly is my conviction.”
The elder in white glared at Wang Ba with an expression of anger or perhaps frustration at his lack of ambition.
Yet Wang Ba remained calm.
But the next mont, the elder in white suddenly laughed.
Under Wang Ba’s surprised gaze, he praised repeatedly:
“Good!”
“The temperant of this young friend truly delights …”
Wang Ba was taken aback.
The elder in white turned to gaze upon the vast grassland in the distance, lanting slowly:
“In essence, I am in a similar situation. With my realm, after so ti in seclusion, I could provoke the Ascension Tribulation and leave this Realm Sea… But I can’t let go of the Canlong Realm.”
Wang Ba suddenly understood.
Before he could respond, the elder in white suddenly asked:
“Young friend, could I take a look at those two jade staves you used earlier?”
Wang Ba hesitated, but instinctively reached out and caught the jade staff the elder casually tossed, feeling its cool touch. Looking down, he saw the words “Silkworm Dragon” engraved on it.
“As an exchange, let show you my Dao Treasure, but I only have this one, unlike your abundance.”
The elder in white smiled.
Wang Ba, feeling a bit ashad, took out the Wind-Driving Staff and the Land-Parting Staff.
Upon seeing the two jade staves Wang Ba handed over, the elder’s eyes sparkled with a hint of no surprise but expectation. He gently grasped the Dao Treasures and, noticing the words “Wind Drive” and “Land Part” engraved in the sa style as “Silkworm Dragon,” he couldn’t help but exclaim:
“Indeed, the rumors are true!”
Wang Ba carefully examined the Silkworm Dragon Staff, unable to discern its purpose since he hadn’t refined it.
Hearing the elder’s words, he asked:
“Rumors? Could the elder know the origin of these two Dao Treasures?”
The elder in white casually tossed back the Wind-Driving and Land-Parting Staffs, showing no attachnt to these treasures others would covet, and nodded slightly:
“I heard this from the Eastern Luli Buddha Realm. It’s said that a Mahayana Cultivator from that realm returned alone to this Realm Sea, disregarding its rules, for unknown reasons. Eventually, he never returned, but two pieces of the ‘Six Candle Stick of Tongyou’ flew back. One landed in Eastern Luli Buddha Realm, and the other combined with a massive Chaos Origin Substance nearby, ultimately birthing a new realm…”
