(BUT THE HELL IS THIS?!) – thought panicking Thauma as it saw every single of its golems laying destroyed outside the dungeon.

(I’ve thought that brining a strong enough soldiers would take them so ti, but as it turned out, they were able to secure sobody way stronger that I’ve expected and managed to bring them here way faster?!)

(Dammit! This is extrely bad!)

(My preparations aren’t ready yet either! They ca here way too early!)

(Does that an that I have to fight these people all on my own?!)

"Non. But we have a lot injured soldiers..... Honestly, way more than we had expected. So can’t fight anymore and so need an instant dical attention."

"Yea, one guy got unlucky and lost both hands. These bastards are way more deadly than I’ve thought when they fight in great numbers like that." – said human fire mage.

"Still.... It doesn’t look like there are any golems left that could still fight, since they would instantly attack us already."

"Anyway, I’m going to take so soldiers and move out the injured. If the golems were to find them in their current state, I don’t think all of them would return alive even with ."

"Don’t worry about this. Once we clean up this ss we are going back." – said the bear general.

"OKAY YOU ALL! YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO!"

"CLEAR UP THE AREA AND GATHER UP THE GOLEM REMAINS!"

"NOBODY OF YOU ARE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE DUNGEON, EXPECT FOR AND THESE 2 FUCKERS!" – said the bear general as he pointed at the dog beast-human soldier with spear and dog beastman that was equipped with shield as well as sword.

"!"

(Damn! They are..... Wait.... Only 3 people are entering the dungeon!?) – thought confused Thuma as it only saw the general and his two elite soldiers entering the dungeon.

(No! The strongest guy amongst the soldier is entering the dungeon.)

"..."

(Can I take them on?)

(I don’t know why only 3 of them are entering the dungeon alone.... Maybe they are worried about other golems attacking them behind?)

(Hm.....Still, even....)

"..."

(Should I try and "talk"?)

(Honestly speaking, I do see them as invaders.)

(And I want to exterminate them..... But what if I "surrender" for now?)

(Ariava told that if I were to be tad, I should make sure that I’m "TAD" in my own way.)

(Like pretending to be tad, just how I did before.)

"Alright you bastard. Stick to the plan." – said the bear beastman as several blade golems alongside crossbow appeared and started rushing towards the group.

Crossbow golems took aim and fired, but once again the bear beastman manifested a wall of earth, blocking their attacks, before then smacking the said wall and using its debris as projectiles that hit the incoming blade golems.

After staggering the blade golems with the debris attack, the bear beastman rushed in and smacked the golems with morning star, knocking away all the golems and giving the two soldiers chance to slip by and rush towards crossbow golems.

This in turn provoke the crossbow golems and when other half of crossbow golems unleashed their fire, the beastman with a shield instantly stepped in front of the other soldier and blocked all the bolts with ease.

"[Haste]." – the beast-human with spear quickly rushed past his partner and instantly closed up the distance between him and puppets.

The spearman instantly thrusted his spear, stabbing one of the golems through their heads, before then quickly blocking crossbow golem’s blades.

The crossbow golems tried attacking the man over and over with their blades, but the spearman easily dodged each and every one of their hits or parried them with his spear.

"!"

One of the crossbow golems managed to reload their crossbow and aid at the spearman, firing the crossbow bolt.... But not hitting him as the man managed to dodge the attack before then counter attacking with [Spear Art: Slash], decapitating the golem that tried attacking him.

However, this left him open for the other crossbow golems to swung their blades and try attack the man..... Only for the beastman with shield to quickly co in knock back their attacks with his shield.

"COMMON!" – shouted the beastman as he joined up with beast-human, starting to demolishing the crossbow golems.

"..."

(These two.... They are too dangerous as well.) – thought Thauma that was observing the fight.

(The heavily armored beastman can easily block any attacks and he isn’t exactly slow, even though he is wearing such heavy equipnt.)

(And the beast-human with spear is way too fast. His reaction ti is also alarming.)

(As for their leader... He has already dealt with every single blade golem.... All on his own.... Damn monster.)

"Hey. I’m done here." – said the bear beastman.

"What about your side?"

"All good. We exterminated every single of the long range golems.... But at any mont more golems could co our way." – said the beast-human soldier.

"Well, maybe we won’t need to fight them." – said the general.

"All we have to do is just wait and maybe these bastard will give us the answer."

After defeating the first wave of golems, the group just stopped in their tracks and just waited near the defeated golems remains..... And before long, their bodies started collapsing.

"!"

"Bingo!" – said smiling general as he watched dungeon monster corpse being turned into dungeon drops.

"Yeb, they are dungeon drops alright.... And this definitely confirms this place being dungeon." – said the general as he picked up mana stone.

"Okay, pick it up and we are going."

"?"

"?!"

"????"

(Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.) – thought Thauma.

(What the hell is going on?!)

(They are leaving?!) – thought confused Thauma as it observed the group quickly gathering up the drops into from the slain golems, before then just turning around and heading to the exit.

(Why are they leaving?! Didn’t they ca to exterminate !?)

(But-)

(WAIT! BACK THEN WAS THE SA THING!)

(The adventures ca to the dungeon and only hunted few monsters before leaving!)

(They are planning on taming !?)

(CRAP! BUT HOW MY PLAN WILL WORK OUT IF I CAN’T TALK WITH THEM!?)

"General is coming out!" – said the beastman soldier as the general alongside his subordinates left the dungeon.

"Listen up!" – shouted general.

"This place is indeed the dungeon!"

"So we are sticking with our original plan!"

"Pack your things!"

"We are leaving!"

"..."

(OKAY! NOW WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!) – thought even more confused Thauma as it saw soldiers just picking up so golems remains and then just leaving the area all together.

(They are retreating???)

(But they were winning!?)

(They didn’t even exterminated all the monsters in the dungeon for the drops!)

(Ariava?)

(Maybe she used her mind control... No. It doesn’t look like this.)

(These 3 soldiers were alone!)

(Was Ariava one of them? But the way they acted..... They were not under mind control?)

(But if... If that is the case, does that an Ariava isn’t truly here?!)

(WAIT! BUT IF SHE ISN’T HERE, THEN WHY AREN’T THEY HERE TRYING TO HUNT DOWN MONSTERS OR DESTORY DUNGEON!?)

Thauma didn’t understood situation one bit.

In confusion and fear, it understood that Ariava wasn’t testing it nor the dungeon. She didn’t do anything since she was never here in the first place.

And yet, for so reason soldiers just retreated.

But not just away from the dungeon.

From the entire forest.

They all went back to their camp base located outside the forest.

"G-general Oranox? Is sothing going on?! Why are all soldier leaving the forest?" – asked nervous wolf beastman captain.

"Calm down. There is nothing going on outside our control." – replied general calmly as he patted the wolf beastman on the shoulder.

"We are just done with our job."

"So does that an you have dealt with the golem dungeon?" - asked wolf beastman as the pair entered the wolf beastman tent.

"Hm? Nah. It is still on the loose. We haven’t done anything to it and we won’t even dare to touch it for so ti." – replied beastman general.
