Odin words echoes in his ears
"Then you break through again, still did not listen to the warning, still seeking perfection, so the universal law co bearing down on you"
Azief nodded again
Then he sighed.
"I understand" he mutters
As for what Odin ans by warning, it is the warning of the world.
Azief felt it every ti he is close to breaking through.
Soday he would feel palpitations in his heart
Each ti he wanted to steel his heart to breakthrough, that feeling of crisis would co, like a premonition
But because his heart is as tough as steel and he was determined every ti, he did not pay attention to this feeling
However, as he grows stronger in Essence Creation realm, he feels that this feeling of crisis in his heart is heavier than the other tis he breaks through
Odin continue his words
"The Sun, the Moon, the stars, the planets, the elents that is above the skies of your own world would beco hostile. Then your own dinsion betray you, space and ti try to kill you"
Azief only frowned at these words
"But if you try to break through to the next realm, the last realm, the watershed between mortal and god, then trust when I said, it is not going to be pretty"
"The entire Omniverse would throw its weight against you. Every law, every rules, every tangible and intangible things that they could throw towards you....they would throw it. And they would do it without rcy"
"This ti, nobody could save you. Even Azul, would not save you. Certain choices should be made by you. And even Azul would not rob that from you."
Odin paused for a second and he look at Azief , his eyes seems to have so kind of pity in it.
"So, I an this, when I said this. Before you break through, think carefully and settle all of your regrets. Make sure you are truly ready for what is coming to you"
"Still, why would I breakthrough on Earth?"
Odin smile at this question and he answer him
"A bet. If you trust , do it. And if the bet is right, you might learn sothing and know soone that could help you at the end of your journey"
"You’re sure?" Azief ask
Odin shakes his head
"I am not sure. Hence, it is a bet" Azief frowned at Odin answer
Odin look at Azief and he could not help but smile
Odin did not say the words that he wanted to say, revealing the other secret.
Even in that other tiline, Azief had never reached this far relying on the path of perfection
In that other tiline, before he even reached Essence Creation, his path of perfection was already cut off.
Azief nodded
Azief also notice the words that Odin used.
He is advising him not to walk that path.
But he did not actively trying to stop him either
Is there a reason for this?
Azief did not quite know.
And he wanted to ask, but he had a feeling even if he asked Odin would not answer this question.
He could just feel it.
Instinct is experience.
Azief also is adept of knowing when people would answer his question or not
Hence, he rarely uses torture to get information.
It is pointless.
Torture is only efficient in getting the answer you wanted and not the truth.
People who wanted to be released from pain would say anything.
As for those who did not want to say anything, even the most torturous torture would not break them
Torture other features is that it just created an atmosphere of fear.
Even among your own people. It is a thod of control.
Of using the carrot and stick.
If you were hoping for the truth from torture, it is not as reliable as using your own intelligence to deduce things
Mortals are limited in ans and asure. And Azief even before he ask a question knows whether the other person would answer or not
Azief had a lot of things to think of when he returns to Earth later.
For a mont there is silence between them. Then Odin said to him
"It is ti for to send you back ho. Wargod must be waiting now"
Azief only smiles at this.
"but before you go, I have a gift for you"
"A gift?’
"Yes, that monkey gave you a hair. And I would give you a leaf"
Saying this Odin waves his hand and suddenly space and ti crack and creates a rift.
This rift is horizontal it is from a few inches from the ground and stretched out to the heavens
And then from that rift, a small leaf flies out and floated in front of Azief. The leaf looks like any other leaf.
It does not even seem that different compared to all the other leaves on this jungle. But Azief notices sothing different from it the closer the leaf is to him
Vitality that seems endless.
"What is this leaf?"
"One leaf from the highest branch of Yggdrasil" Odin answer
"There is a recipe for this leaf. You have to grind the leaf with the Blessed Runic fruit and then eat it. Whether you mix it in your water or eat it raw or fried it, it does not matter. It is not normal ingredients. The nutrients and the magic would not dissipate if you stir fried it or eat it raw. Depends on your preference, really"
Azief was surprised that Odin would say sothing about recipe and cooking.
But then Azief notice sothing.
"Where is the fruit?" hearing this Odin smiles.
"I planted a tree on a mountain. On Earth. It would not hide from you. The leaf would guide you"
Azief was startled for a second
"You are on Earth? Right now?"
Odin smiles. He nodded.
"Yes"
For a mont Azief frowned
"Why?"
Odin did not answer imdiately. He closes his eyes. And for a mont, there is only silence between these two.
Azief did not urge Odin.
Then Odin sighed
"I used to visit Earth in the past. I just wanted to see it again. The planet is as primitive as ever. Its inhabitant is as destructive as it is before" then he shakes his head
"Not quite though" it is almost like he is speaking to soone else. He posits a statents and another answer
"Maybe, because the world is so much in chaos, that the world is on the verge of destruction, humanity manage to gather up once again. It is still as destructive as before, murderous beings but at least, you look up at the stars as your enemies"
"That’s it? You ca to Earth to reminisce?" Odin chuckles
"And I try to see you."
Azief shook his head
"If you wanted to see , I doubt I could hide" Azief eyes narrows
"You are being dishonest"
Odin smiles
"True, if I wanted to see you, not many things could stop . Honestly, it is not that easy to et you"
"On Earth, you are protected. And I don’t an by so kind of bodyguard. Fate, destiny, all of these that anointed you as the bearer of the End, would find a way to trip up. The power of such intangible things is still sothing I have to pay attention to. I did not dare co close to you under that circumstances"
"But, you are also true that I did not co there just to et you. I planted so seeds, strategize a plan and so on and so forth. This is not being dishonest. This is just having so secrets"
He paused for a second and then added
"though I would not be there for long. There is a war in Olympus right now"
Azief eyebrows raised.
Olympus at war? Azief had never gone to Olympus but he heard about this civilization before
"Old friends and old enemies are all gathering there, fighting. The alliance of the seven powers is now disintegrating. Ra probably could not hold on for much longer. His light is about to die out. And before that happened, he would try to do things his way. Whose side he is on is anyone guess" he chuckles a bit and shakes his head
"Just in ti"
"In Ti?" Azief ask but clearly Odin did not hear his words. Instead, he seems to talk about sothing unrelated
"Fate and destiny are a powerful thing. They have been sched since before they were even born. All the cause and effect....have all been determined. All grudges and resentnt have all been determined. And It breaks out just at the right ti"
"What do you an?" Odin went on a rant for a mont but then Odin look back at Azief and he simply chuckles
"it ans those powerful beings is preoccupied and could not take care of themselves even less so they are able to ddle on Earth"
Smiling, he added while opening his arms
"Just in ti, don’t you think? Earth is now free of interference from high level beings, and fate and destiny could weave its story"
He sighed and then said "The love the One has for humanity is really biased"
