The ssage sent was a picture, an image of Daisy lying on the bed, her face looking obviously abnormal.
Clearly, the sender wasn’t Daisy. So, all the calls and ssages he made these past days might not have been received by Daisy at all; soone else had taken her phone.
Dawn Sutherland’s slender fingers quickly swiped across the phone screen and dialed a number.....

Ricky Brooke was guarding in front of Daisy Grant’s bed, watching her pale lips weakly mumbling that person’s na.
Right then, Daisy Grant’s old phone started ringing. Ricky Brooke didn’t need to check the caller ID to know who it was; he coldly pressed the reject button.
The phone rang over and over again, sounding so abrupt in the silent room.
Finally, after it persistently rang five tis, Ricky Brooke impatiently pressed the answer button, and with an unpleasant tone, yelled at the other end, "Speak quickly, don’t waste my ti!"
On the other side, Dawn Sutherland’s voice was sowhat hoarse, laced with urgency and fear, "Ricky Brooke, is she... alright?"
Ricky Brooke chuckled coldly, his voice frigid, "Thanks to you, she’s not alright! Especially not alright! Dawn Sutherland, Daisy must have had incredibly bad luck in her past life to love you in this one, to be hurt by you ti and ti again!"

On the other side, the murmurings grew weaker and quieter, but in the end, Dawn Sutherland only heard faint breathing, no longer the call of ’Second Brother.’
Dawn Sutherland’s heart tightened. He shouted over the phone, "Ricky Brooke, what’s wrong with her! Check her quickly! Ricky Brooke!"
On the other end, sounds were heard, several different footsteps. Dawn Sutherland guessed it must be the doctor and Ricky Brooke and others, probably busy trying to save Daisy.
Dawn Sutherland stood before the floor-to-ceiling window, holding his phone, his fingertips cold and trembling slightly.
"Ricky Brooke, which country are you in?! Tell !" Dawn Sutherland couldn’t bear it anymore, shouting hoarsely into the phone that wasn’t hung up, almost using all his strength.
But the response he got was a cruel beep, the phone line was busy.

Dawn Sutherland’s heart was constantly raised, thinking about Daisy Grant, her condition, and how he could find her....
