Nicole could easily discern his sarcasm, and she smiled lightly at Jose Floyd, "Mr. Floyd, you don’t need to voice the physiological issues. After all, it’s all in the past, and now that Mr. Floyd has long been cured, just recalling the tis when you had problems must be overwhelmingly painful!"
As Nicole’s words fell, Steven Cooper looked at Jose Floyd with an indescribable expression.
A man with both psychological and physiological issues was essentially useless in the past, quite deserving of sympathy.
Steven Cooper’s gaze made Jose Floyd restrain himself from strangling Nicole; it was her words that elicited that sympathetic look from Steven Cooper.

The coldness in Jose Floyd’s eyes surged even more, glaring at Nicole sharply.
Nicole’s mouth curled into a smile, "Mr. Floyd, out of the professional ethics of a doctor and my good heart, let help you treat your wound."
Nicole said this and turned to walk inside.
Fearing any small accidents at the party, the first aid kit was kept in the lounge as a backup.
Jose Floyd followed Nicole’s steps with a cold face, and said in a cold tone to Steven Cooper behind him, "Mr. Cooper, please wait outside the door; I don’t wish for anyone else to be present during my ’treatnt’."
Steven Cooper paused awkwardly, "Nicole, I’ll wait for you outside."
Nicole gave Jose Floyd a cool side glance and nodded, "Alright, Brother Cooper."
The two went inside to tend to the hand injury; Jose Floyd entered last and shut the door coldly right after, blocking Steven Cooper’s scrutinizing gaze.
On the sofa in the lounge, Nicole picked up the first aid kit, using a cotton swab dipped in alcohol to wipe the glass fragnts from Jose Floyd’s hand.
Once done, Nicole used gauze to wrap Jose Floyd’s injured hand and calmly advised, "Mr. Floyd, if you don’t want your hand to beco useless, I suggest you avoid water over the next few days. Although, it’s unlikely soone like Mr. Floyd would heed others’ advice, so feel free to do as you please, whatever makes you happy."
Nicole tidied everything up, kept her face impassive without a glance at Jose Floyd, intending to leave.
"Miss Seys," Jose Floyd suddenly called out, "now that your hand’s injury is treated, how about Miss Seys treats the physiological ones too?"
Nicole paused montarily, her face unchanged, "Mr. Floyd, I can’t do that, but maybe I can have Camden send a few won, blooming like flowers, to the hotel to help treat your physiological wounds?"
Nicole finished speaking and attempted to leave, but Jose Floyd suddenly grabbed her wrist, pulling her into his arms.
"Jose Floyd...!" Nicole hissed.
Jose Floyd trapped Nicole, rendering her immobile, with a cold smile playing on his lips, "Five years of treatnt, isn’t it? Miss Seys might as well be generous for once; rejecting now would seem so petty! After all, I trained you into an outstanding graduate, didn’t I? I must check if your ’thesis’ ets the standards!"
Nicole’s eyes t Jose Floyd’s, cold and composed, "This is the full-month banquet for the Seys family’s twins! Show so respect!"
Jose Floyd’s gaze was colder and harsher than Nicole’s, "Speaking of that, I was the first man of their aunt, calling uncle wouldn’t be too much respect, would it?"
"You really have so nerve!" Nicole sneered.
"My nerve doesn’t match yours. Nicole, have you forgotten how docile you were in front of back then? Truly a wolf that can’t be tad, the feelings over these years, how you can strike so ruthlessly. Nicole, you really are sothing, ruthless enough!"
