"It seems you’ve forgotten, my second brother wasn’t born by you, and you never treated him as a part of the Sutherland Family, nor half a son, did you?" Daisy Grant sneered coldly. "If you’ve brought here to discuss such trifles, I find it unnecessary to waste my ti. Respect is mutual; you’ve never respected my parents in the past and even ridiculed them. Yet I still co to et you now because my second brother’s surna is Sutherland. I’ve already shown you the greatest respect."
Asher Sutherland, who had been silent all along, sharply glanced at Daisy Grant, suddenly throwing the tea cup in his hand at her feet.
With a bang, the cup shattered into pieces!
Daisy Grant’s heart skipped a beat, as Asher’s rage was evident, seemingly wanting to smash the cup against her. Standing there, Daisy felt a slight chill at her fingertips.
"Daisy Grant, since you know Dawn’s last na is Sutherland, you should know how to maintain the appropriate attitude towards elders! If you want to enter the Sutherland Family, you still need my consent! Put away your arrogance!"
"Since when did you need to agree or lecture my wife?" A clear, cold voice sounded from the doorway.
The three people in the living room looked towards the newcor.
Dawn Sutherland strode in with steady and decisive steps, stood beside Daisy Grant, and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. Facing Selah Sutton and Asher Sutherland, his gaze was cold and piercing, "I didn’t realize you invited my wife here just to lecture her!"
Selah Sutton, glaring coldly at Dawn Sutherland defending Daisy, fud, "For a woman like her, do you think it’s appropriate to talk back at your father? Dawn, you’ve indeed grown bolder!"
Asher’s expression was also unpleasant, as Dawn’s earlier response left him feeling quite uneasy.
Dawn, pulling Daisy closer, said, "Daisy is my wife. Since you consider part of the Sutherland Family, then Daisy is your daughter-in-law. She’s standing here pregnant, being scolded by you. Aren’t you deliberately making things difficult for her? If it weren’t for respecting you, she wouldn’t even be here at the Sutherland ho! Respect is sothing you might want to learn."
Asher, sitting on the sofa, cast a sharp glance at Dawn and Daisy, his voice cold, "Dawn, are you suggesting you want to choose this woman over the Sutherland Family? Do you really think you can fly on your own now?"
Dawn chuckled, a hint of mockery at the corner of his mouth. "Haven’t I already parted ways with the Sutherland Family long ago? I’ve never cared for this family! I founded C.Y through my own efforts, and don’t forget, I haven’t received any help from the Sutherland Family! Whether my wings are strong or not, at least I won’t let anyone bully my wife!"
Being held by Dawn, Daisy felt warmth flow through her heart as she glanced at his determined and cool face.
She thought it was truly worthwhile to have exchanged everything for her second brother.
Selah Sutton’s face was very unsightly, "Snatching your brother’s fiancée and now wanting to go against our Sutherland Clan, Dawn, you are really sothing!"
Daisy’s fingertips were chilly, and she looked at Selah Sutton with a cold gaze, "Before accusing my second brother, teach your son properly! Business is inherently about competing and vying, and using the phrase ’going against’ only shows how incompetent the Sutherland Clan is now! If C.Y, being a fledgling company, can put pressure on the Sutherland Clan, that just proves how inept the Sutherland Clan is! Wouldn’t saying that make Ms. Sutton feel embarrassed?"

"Since there’s nothing important, I’ll take my wife ho now." Dawn Sutherland interrupted Selah Sutton’s anger, lifting his eyelids coolly and glancing at Selah Sutton and Asher Sutherland. "From now on, I have nothing to do with the Sutherland Family. Don’t trouble my wife anymore; you have no right to reprimand her!"
