After Dawn Sutherland finished, he ignored Selah Sutton and Asher Sutherland’s reactions, put his arm around Daisy Grant, and turned to leave.

Daisy’s previous gloominess faded; the corners of her lips lifted into a gentle smile. "I understand, Second Brother. I won’t go to the Sutherland Family anymore. Honestly, I never wanted to go there at all. That day in the hospital room, what Selah Sutton said to my parents... If the Sutherland Family hadn’t pushed us so hard, maybe my dad wouldn’t have..."
"I’m sorry, Daisy." Dawn pressed his lips together, his voice especially heavy.
Daisy shook her head. "It has nothing to do with you, Second Brother. I’ve never blad you. Even when I blad myself, I never blad you."
Dawn made a low sound in response. "Daisy, I still owe you a wedding. Once the babies are born, Daisy, let’s get married properly. I want all our friends and relatives to know that I, Dawn Sutherland, married the love of my life in this lifeti."
Daisy’s lips curled slightly. "Okay."
The last wedding had been her regret.
What girl doesn’t want a wedding blessed by all her friends and family? But that last wedding had left her with nothing but heartache.
But now it was different. She and the Second Brother she loved were open and honest with each other. She wanted a sweet, happy wedding like that too.

In the blink of an eye, two months had passed.
The weather was turning warr.
Ariel Morris was in the living room playing with Little Princess Iris Seys in her arms when Aunt Forest walked over. "Young Madam, there’s a guest here to see you. The president of Saxton Clan Group, he says he’s your... father. Mr. Benny Saxton would like to see you."
"Benny Saxton?" Ariel was a little surprised, so much so that she didn’t even notice little Iris waving her hand across her face. A dozen seconds later, Ariel replied lightly, "Let him in."
"Alright, Young Madam."
When Aunt Forest ca back in, she was followed by the long-unseen Benny Saxton. There were many more wrinkles on his face, the hair at his temples much more white; he looked like he’d aged ten years.
"Please have a seat, Mr. Saxton." Aunt Forest greeted him with a smile and made him a cup of tea.
From the mont he walked in, Benny Saxton’s gaze had been fixed on Ariel Morris. He seed a little flustered and uneasy. "O-okay... okay..." he answered Aunt Forest and sat down, his body a bit stiff.
After Aunt Forest withdrew, Ariel held the baby in her arms and asked in a faint voice, "Mr. Saxton, what did you co to see about?"
Benny Saxton’s eyes were sowhat panicked as he looked at Ariel. He spoke haltingly, very nervous. "A-Ariel, I heard that the Young Madam Seys gave birth to twins, so I... I just kept wanting to co and see you and the children."
Ariel’s gaze slid over to Benny Saxton, but she didn’t say anything.
"A boy and a girl, right? You’re really blessed. The whole Seys Family must be over the moon, right? I’m happy too..." Benny Saxton grinned, as if he truly was very happy. His eyes, full of inquiry, fell on Ariel. "May I take a look at the baby in your arms?"
