Arlo Seys walked Ariel Morris ho, and as they passed by the pharmacy at the entrance of her neighborhood, Ariel bought a bottle of dicine for injuries and took it ho.
The two of them reached the bottom of the apartnt building.
"Arlo Seys, I bought so dicine. You got hurt on your face and left hand. Let tend to them for you, okay? It wouldn’t be good if the injuries worsen."
Arlo hesitated for a mont, then nodded. The Seys Family had very strict rules, and if he went back looking like this, it would be obvious he got into a fight and got injured! His grandfather and father would definitely punish him with kneeling!
By the ti they reached ho, it was getting dark, and the hallway was a bit dim.
"Arlo Seys, be careful. The light in the hallway is broken. I’ll use my phone’s flashlight to guide you."
Ariel turned her head back to remind Arlo while turning on her phone to use the flashlight.
"Ah!"
A scream had just escaped her lips when Arlo’s quick reflexes allowed him to swiftly catch the person lunging forward, stopping her forward montum.
In that awkward position, after about a minute of stiff silence with no reaction from the rescued person, Arlo, worried that she might have been frightened, asked with a trace of anxiety in his voice, "Ariel Morris, are you okay?"

Ariel straightened up, her heart pounding from the unexpected intimate contact. It was just a small room, the narrow space could be taken in at a glance. The room contained a bed, an old desk, and a suitcase full of clothes. It was so tiny it was like an even smaller ho within a ho.
"Arlo Seys, what are you standing there for? Co in, take a seat. I’ll wash my hands and apply so dicine for you."
Behind him, Ariel urged as she entered the house.
Returning to his senses, Arlo’s gaze fell on the smiling girl. How could she live so happily in such a simple and cramped place?
He even felt that when he and Ariel stood in the room, it seed a bit crowded. The entire room wasn’t even as big as the bathroom in his ho...
Ariel went out to wash her hands, and Arlo’s gaze followed her. It was then he realized that Ariel’s living space had a shared bathroom, shared by three households along with a kitchen.
Ariel washed her hands, and due to the size of the place, the only chair was in front of the old desk. Ariel invited Arlo to sit on the edge of the bed while she carefully applied dicine to him.
"Arlo Seys, thank you for saving today," Ariel softly said while applying the dicine.
