Ariel Morris looked out at the pitch-black night sky and let Arlo Seys rest in her house. Arlo, with injuries on his face, didn’t feel like facing his family and agreed to stay.
Ariel busied herself in the kitchen, making dinner for the two of them. Arlo was at the desk doing his howork, his eyes occasionally, intentionally or unintentionally, following the slim figure in the little kitchen outside, his heart strumd like a softly plucked string, indescribably beautiful.
What about her family? How could they trust her to rent a place and live outside alone?
From birth, he had always been the pampered young master of the Seys Family. After school each day, a lavish al awaited him at ho, with no need to lift a finger. But she, even younger than him by a year, had moved out to live alone, and had to cook her own als after school. If he hadn’t visited today, he wouldn’t have known such small, simple houses existed.
He truly hadn’t known that her life was so impoverished. In his impression, Ariel Morris had always been carefree, smiling sweetly, seemingly happy and without worries every day.

These were ordinary dishes, not fancy, but Arlo’s appetite was whetted, and he ate heartily, finishing two bowls of rice.
After they finished eating, Arlo tutored Ariel in English until eleven o’clock.
There was only one bed in the room, so the two of them had to make do with sharing it. Ariel fell asleep almost as soon as she lay down, but Arlo, not used to the bed, couldn’t fall asleep.
In the small space, on the cramped single bed, the bright white moonlight shone outside, and Ariel’s gentle breathing as she slept sounded in his ears. Arlo turned his head to look at the sleeping Ariel, her profile reflected in his deep eyes; it was his first ti looking so intently at a girl.
He was the Seys Family’s Crown Prince, accustod to attending high society parties since childhood, having seen many beautiful, stunning girls. Ariel Morris was not the kind of girl who impressed imdiately at a glance, yet her features were picturesque, her eyebrows vibrant, her features delicate, with tiny dimples beside her lips. When she smiled, it was like a blooming flower, fresh and pure to the utmost, the kind who beca more beautiful the more you looked at her.
As he watched the person lying beside him, Arlo felt a faint itch in his heart, mixed with a throbbing. The sensation kept battering against his left atrium, making him feel like he’d be sleepless tonight.
So this is what youthful yearning feels like.....
Sweet, cautious, with a little joy...

After this day, there was a subtle change between Arlo Seys and Ariel Morris. They interacted more intimately and naturally, not shying away or being awkward in front of others. Arlo refused his family’s chauffeur’s pickups and drop-offs and rode his bicycle to and from school every day.
Every evening at dismissal under the dusk, a boy on a bicycle could always be found waiting at the school gate, becoming a sweet and romantic scenery at Scenic Hill.
Amidst envious gazes from everyone, Ariel Morris walked to the back seat of the bicycle with a gleeful and slightly proud expression.
The front seat was her cherished God Seys! Her heart was full of sweetness, and her days were wonderfully delightful.
Also from this day, Arlo Seys had the servants pack breakfast every day, then rode his bicycle to wait outside Ariel Morris’s place to deliver it to her.
The Seys Family thought Arlo was doing this to save ti to study and felt both pained and gratified.
