Roo Grant glanced at his wife and said indifferently, "Dawn Sutherland is the illegitimate child of the Sutherland Family, always ignored. Compared to Aidan Sutherland’s luck, this Dawn Sutherland is—forget it, anyway, our daughter is marrying the eldest son of the Sutherland Family. Aidan will be in charge of the Sutherland Clan in the future. It’s good for Dawn to venture out on his own; if he stays in the Sutherland Enterprises, Aidan will have to put so effort into this half-brother. If Dawn firmly establishes himself outside, given his long-term neglect within the Sutherland Family, he won’t want to return. Aidan will have nothing to worry about."
Sophie Brown sighed, "This kid hasn’t had it easy, growing up without a mother. Asher Sutherland’s wife, Selah Sutton, isn’t a pushover, so these years in the Sutherland Household haven’t been pleasant either."
Roo Grant put down the newspaper, looking at Sophie Brown, "Selah Sutton isn’t broad-minded. You should advise Daisy Grant not to get too close to Dawn Sutherland. If she provokes Selah Sutton’s disgust, Daisy won’t have a good life after marrying in! Also, they are uncle-in-law and niece-in-law; if they get too close, any gossip could harm the reputation of both the Grant and Sutherland families."
Sophie Brown nodded, "I’ve already advised Daisy. But, as you know, Daisy has liked playing with Dawn since childhood, and Dawn has truly been kind to her. Look, when Daisy fell ill, Aidan didn’t visit; it was Dawn who ca, right? Daisy relies on Dawn for a reason. Except for his status as an illegitimate child, Dawn excels in every other aspect, doesn’t he? In the business world, Dawn’s reputation has always been good; most of what you hear are praises for him. This shows how truly outstanding Dawn is."
Roo Grant picked up the cup from the coffee table and took a sip of tea, saying in a deep voice, "The status of an illegitimate child is enough to overshadow all of his outstanding qualities. As long as Aidan is around, the Sutherland Family will never let Dawn take center stage. That’s the biggest difference."
Sophie Brown sighed.
On the second floor, Dawn Sutherland knocked on Daisy Grant’s room door, and a gentle voice from Daisy replied, "Donna, what’s up? I just woke up."
Not hearing this voice for days made Dawn Sutherland’s heart skip a beat; he replied warmly, "It’s , Dawn."
"Second brother?" Daisy’s tone was sowhat delighted.
The door quickly opened, and Daisy’s sickly complexion appeared before Dawn’s eyes.
"Second brother, why did you co?" Daisy smiled, a flicker of light in her eyes.
"I heard you were sick, so I ca to see you. Are you feeling better?" Dawn instinctively reached out to place his hand on Daisy’s forehead, checked her temperature, and pursed his lips, "Still a bit feverish, have you taken dicine?"
Daisy gently laughed, "Second brother, co on in, let’s chat. I’ve been at ho these days feeling moldy."
"Alright."
Dawn entered with a gentle expression on his face, walked into the room, and sat by Daisy’s bedside.
Daisy closed the door, lay back on her bed, and smiled softly at Dawn beside her, "Second brother, when is the company’s opening day scheduled?"
"Three days from now."
"Congratulations, second brother! May your business flourish and your future be bright with abundance!" Daisy smiled sweetly, offering her blessings.
Dawn accepted her blessings with a smile. Looking at her slightly pale face, he couldn’t help but ask, "When did you catch a cold?"
"It’s been three or four days, nothing serious. I’ve seen a doctor, had an IV drip, and took dicine. Second brother, your company must be very busy these days, how do you have ti to co see ?"
Dawn smiled lightly, "Even when you’re ill, you care about my company’s affairs. How could I ever forget this bond? No matter how busy I am, I have to co see you, I’m your second brother."
