Steven Cooper left, and as Nicole watched him go, the faint smile on her face disappeared. She turned around and walked towards Jose Floyd, her expression cold as frost.
"Jose Floyd, what exactly are you trying to do?"
Jose Floyd didn’t answer. Instead, he returned to his car, took a bottle of mineral water from inside, leaned against the hood, and coldly tossed the water to Nicole. His voice was ice-cold: "Wash your hands clean! The hand he held, you’d better wash it clean for ! Otherwise, I don’t mind helping you!"
Nicole caught the mineral water.
She twisted it open.
Washed her hands.
Then looked up at Jose Floyd, "Are you satisfied? They’re squeaky clean."
From her understanding of him, if she had no desire for more interaction, she should just comply and complete what he wanted, to hopefully let him leave her alone.
Jose Floyd’s expression softened slightly but remained cold, even with a hint of sarcasm: "Kissing on the street, Nicole, you both act like no one’s around!"
Nicole glanced at Jose Floyd and replied blandly, "I didn’t cause any traffic jam; we were on the sidewalk. It doesn’t seem like it’s corrupting public morals. Young Master Floyd, you care too much. No one can stop couples from kissing, can they?"
Jose Floyd curled his thin lips with a hint of coolness, "I can’t control others kissing. But you, using the techniques I taught you to service others, utterly disgusts ! So, did Steven Cooper complint your kissing skills? Did you tell him that your skills, along with everything else, were all taught by , hmm?!"
"Young Master Floyd, with so many conquests, you truly are a remarkable tutor! You must have taught hundreds, if not thousands of won, right? I’m just one among them, hardly worthy of receiving Young Master Floyd’s full transmission! Our teacher-student relationship ended long ago, and I’m not sticking around you any longer. Whom I’m with and what intimate things I do, how could that disgust you?"
Nicole laughed coldly, her eyes growing colder.
Jose Floyd’s eyes narrowed coldly.
He stepped forward.
Grabbed Nicole’s wrist.
His face icy, "You said I trained many won? Your talent for speaking nonsense is getting better!"
When did he ever have another woman besides her?!
Nicole sneered, "As the new boss in the Restricted District, don’t pretend to be so pure. When discussing business deals, aren’t you always surrounded by countless beauties?!"
Jose Floyd chuckled, his tone growing colder, "Are those won worth my training?"
Nicole nodded, smiling calmly, "True, just by sitting there, countless won rush forward, using all their tricks to please you, so you don’t need to personally please them. After all, you’re not easy to approach. Alright, Young Master Floyd, if there’s nothing else, I’ll go ho for dinner."
Having said that, Nicole turned to leave, unwilling to spend another second with him.
Suddenly, her wrist was gripped tightly, stopping her in her tracks—
Pain radiated from her wrist. Nicole looked back, her expression indifferent: "Let go! Jose Floyd!"
Jose Floyd gripped her wrist tightly, not loosening his hold despite her struggles!
His eyes narrowed slightly, filled with danger: "I’ve warned you not to let other n touch you! Did you take it as wind past your ears?!"
"Jose Floyd, you still think you’re above all! Do you think you’re the king of the world? The contract I signed with you was for five years! Now that ti’s up, there’s nothing between us, understand? We’re enemies now, not contract lovers! What right do you have to interfere in my matters with Steven Cooper? What position do you have?!"
"Right?! What’s mine is mine unless I don’t want it! Otherwise, no one else can even think of touching it!"
