Nicole bit her lip, looking coldly at Jose Floyd, and spat out two icy words: "Madman!"
Jose Floyd’s lips curved into a cruel smile, his eyes icy, "If I truly make a move, the only path left to you is to return to my side, do you believe that?! I’m not yet holding you accountable for your betrayal, so recognize your actions, don’t regret them when I do strike!"
There wasn’t a trace of warmth in Jose Floyd’s eyes or face, Nicole looked at Jose Floyd, bit her lip: "Then let tell you, my life has nothing to do with you, wanting to control my life, sorry, you’re not qualified."
As Nicole’s words fell, her gaze turned cold, the hand not controlled by Jose Floyd swiftly struck out at him, fast and precise, directly attacking Jose Floyd.
Jose Floyd reached out to block Nicole’s hand, the two exchanged over a dozen moves in mid-air, holding nothing back.
Their speed was incredibly fast, Jose Floyd’s eyes flashed with surprise at Nicole’s progress, while his gaze turned colder.
That her skills could improve so drastically, she must have practiced diligently, endured hardships, all in order to hone her prowess just to take his life...
She once claid he murdered her closest kin, demanding an eye for an eye!
The two exchanged more blows, in the blink of an eye, they traded several dozen moves, neither gaining an upper hand. Nicole’s gaze sharpened, her palm striking towards Jose Floyd’s chest.
Jose Floyd’s palm also targeted Nicole, his eyes devoid of warmth—
Their speeds matched, as Nicole’s palm was about to strike, Jose Floyd’s palm was already sweeping towards Nicole, his cold eyes reflecting her silhouette. A coincidental voice echoed softly in his mind.
"Jose—--"
The gentle voice from their past, a single word tenderly spoken, carried an alluring tone in his mory, Jose Floyd’s gaze shifted, deeply looking at the person in front, his force lessened as his blow landed on her shoulder...
And as Nicole struck at Jose Floyd, she clearly saw the flicker of emotion in his eyes, from cold solitude to deep complexity, lost in thought as her palm connected with Jose Floyd’s body...
Both struck simultaneously, wounding each other—-
Except Jose Floyd retreated two steps more, while Nicole was the first to steady her stance. With her footing secured, Nicole watched Jose Floyd, her teeth chattering slightly.
There remained a gap between them, his strength couldn’t possibly have been less than hers, leading to only one explanation...
Jose Floyd, he showed rcy at the critical mont—-
Nicole regarded Jose Floyd, biting her lip, her gaze heavy. She deeply looked at Jose Floyd, turned in silence, without pause, heading back to the Seys Family.
Her fingers at her sides clenched tightly within her palms.
Jose Floyd also turned coldly, not sparing Nicole a glance, not even a glimr from the corner of his eye. He got in the car, hit the accelerator, leaving Nicole behind, speeding away.

PS, if nothing unexpected, Steven and Daisy will conclude next week. Afterwards will focus on Jose and Nicole, next Chapter is their first encounter, just one Chapter, adding a subplot.
