Chapter 1251: Blood Lineage Ability
A few minutes passed before Anthony’s eyes fluttered open. The scene of the Mirror Dimension came rushing back into his vision as he finally rose from the ground before settling into a seated position. His mind immediately returned to the very last thing that had happened before he fainted, and at that moment, he instantly remembered the answer he had received.
Yes.
Anthony couldn’t help but wonder how someone could have survived since that Era. Surely, countless eons had already passed, yet the First Human remained alive. Anthony couldn’t help but sigh as he tried to prehend just how overwhelmingly powerful the First Human truly was, because even after boosting his mind’s capacity and strength by a millionfold, he had still fainted due to the mental overload, something that had happened to him for the very first time.
Anthony knew that if it hadn’t been for his absurd Physique, he might not have woken up for months.
As Anthony remained lost in thought, the system chimed.
[The First Human’s opens his eyes]
[The First Human notices that someone gazed upon his Existence]
[The First Human tracks down the Universe]
[The First Human gazes down upon your existence]
[The First Human activates the Blood Lineage ability]
The moment that last notification flashed, Authority Of Information: The Perfect One flared with an endless barrage of warning, as though some inprehensibly powerful Entity was attempting to obtain every piece of information regarding Anthony.
Anthony was utterly shocked. He was simply too stunned. Never in his wildest imagination would he have believed that the First Human had actually sensed him using Thought Conception to confirm his Existence. Anthony couldn’t help but wonder just what kind of monstrous perception that truly was.
It was just like how uttering the Demon King’s name would immediately burden someone with hundreds of curses.
Anthony didn’t hesitate for even a fraction of a second before weaving an enormous amount of false information for the First Human to perceive. Although Authority Of Information functioned according to Anthony’s cultivation rank, The Perfect One operated upon all Existence regardless of cultivation grade, power difference, or status. Better yet, it required absolutely no training to use.
Within the information Anthony wove, he changed his name to Lorian Blackwood. He fabricated that his parents were dead. He fabricated that he barely had any friends. Anthony constructed a lie about every single aspect of his life. He had no idea what kind of person the First Human had bee after existing for such an unimaginable length of time, nor did he know how much he had changed over the countless ages. Therefore, caution was the only reasonable choice.
He still had parents, grandparents, friends, rades, and even the entirety of Blue Planet. He wasn’t willing to gamble all of that away merely because of his own curiosity.
[The First Human smiles at your pitiful existence]
[The First Human wonders how lonely you’ve been]
[The First Human bees confused as to how you were able to perceive his Existence or even possess knowledge about him, as he found no such skill or knowledge within the information he received about you]
[The First Human knows that only those who possess the Primordial Grade Bloodline receive a vision about the beginning of his journey]
[The First Human already knows Klaus is the Holder of the Primordial Grade Bloodline]
[The First Human’s curiosity has been piqued]
[The First Human decides to investigate a few millennia from now, as he is simply too occupied and busy]
[The First Human stops gazing upon the Universe]
And with that final message, the system notifications vanished as the First Human withdrew his attention.
The Perfect One, which had remained fully activated the entire time, immediately calmed down, almost as though an unimaginably great disaster had just passed.
Anthony wiped an imaginary bead of sweat from his forehead before letting out a long sigh of relief. Even with Thought Conception, he simply wasn’t powerful enough to contend against an Entity on the First Human’s level. Attempting such a thing would have been no different from mitting suicide.
He sighed once more as he remained seated upon the ground, his thoughts naturally drifting toward Klaus.
‘So the First Human already knows about Klaus,’ Anthony thought to himself, finding that revelation somewhat understandable.
Anthony could already infer that whatever the Blood Lineage ability truly was, it likely enabled the First Human to sense every Human throughout existence, pinpoint their location with absolute precision, and instantly obtain every piece of information regarding that individual, from the day of their birth to the very present moment, without overlooking even the smallest detail.
Truly… It was a terrifying ability.
Authority Of Information: The Perfect One was undoubtedly its greatest possible counter.
But, Anthony knew that he was now on the First Human’s radar. After all, as the system had clearly stated, the First Human’s curiosity had been piqued. And from everything Anthony had observed while witnessing the First Human through the Primordial Bloodline assimilation, he had already reached one undeniable conclusion.
Once the First Human’s curiosity had been piqued, that man would never rest until he discovered the answers he sought.
It was simply part of what made Humans… Human.
Anthony couldn’t help but smile faintly. The First Human had effectively given him a few thousand years. Personally, Anthony couldn’t even begin to imagine what might have happened if the First Human hadn’t been occupied with whatever currently demanded his attention. Yet, at the very same time, Anthony couldn’t help but wonder what could possibly be important enough to occupy someone of the First Human’s caliber for such an absurdly long period of time.
“Well… whatever. At least we’re past this crisis,” Anthony spoke aloud.
Yes, to Anthony, this had truly been a crisis.
He slowly raised his head toward the sky, quietly staring at the brilliant sun he himself had created within the Mirror Dimension.
Anthony gently shook his head before deciding to stop dwelling on the First Human altogether. Hidden secrets truly were far too dangerous. Of course, the First Human might simply be a kind individual, and Anthony might very well be overthinking everything. But, as always, Anthony would remain cautious until the day he became just as powerful, or even more powerful, than whoever stood before him.
Until then, he wasn’t going to allow arrogance to cloud his judgment.
Besides, this encounter had more or less confirmed Anthony’s earlier hypothesis that the First Human wasn’t classified among those who merely possessed the Primordial Grade Bloodline. Instead, the Laws themselves and all of Creation appeared to recognize him as the true Progenitor, the absolute beginning of all Humanity.
His thoughts naturally shifted toward the Primordial Grade Bloodline itself as he municated with the system to display its details.
‘Hey, system, show me the details of the Primordial Grade Bloodline,’ he spoke to the OP system.
[Ding]
[Affirmative, Host]
