Though he felt both his health and energy reserves go down by a great chunk, a feeling of newfound strength soon enveloped Valyr's entire body, causing him to think that the playing field between him and the Vessel of Envy had evened out once more.

Catching the dark entity off guard, Valyr put all of his greatly increased strength into one of his thrusts, forcing the Vessel of Envy to take a few steps back as it did not expect his strength to undergo a massive increase all of a sudden.

Making full use of the opportunity he'd given himself, the young man swiftly roused a part of the Pri Azure Energy before thrusting his spear outward, causing it to cry out like a phoenix as he aid for one of the Vessel of Envy's vital spots.

However, just as his skill-empowered gaze thought that it would deal thrice the damage like his previous attack did, the dark entity quickly returned from the shock it felt, swerving its body at the very last second.

"Damn." Though he briefly lanted over the fact that he missed the chance to deal devastating damage to the entity, Valyr struck out at the Vessel of Envy once more.

Tightly gripping onto his blood-red spear, Valyr summoned all of his strength as he imbued Pri Azure Energy into it, briefly manifesting an image of an azure tiger as the tip made its way to where the Vessel of Envy stood.

Unfortunately, the young man's previous attack reminded the dark entity that there was a chance it could be on the losing end.

With that, it took a few steps back amidst the movent speed debuff Valyr's previous attack on it, barely escaping a situation where it could've lost another chunk of its HP.

"Haah!" Undeterred by the failure of his second attack, Valyr closed the gap between the two as he sent out a flurry of strikes with his increased strength.

With its movent speed still affected by the debuff, the Vessel of Envy was forced to a defensive, nullifying the force behind all of the young man's attacks with attacks of its own.

Of course, the only reason why the entity was able to do so was due to the high disparity that existed in their stats.

'Surely the gap in our stats should've closed by now, right?' Watching the Vessel of Envy defend against all of his strikes with relative ease, a slight frown appeared on Valyr's face as he used [Superior Analysis] on the entity once more.

"You've got to be fucking kidding ." As if the Vessel of Envy had already taken his ultimate stat-boosting skill into consideration, its resurrection caused its tier to go up by one, allowing most of its stats to break through the five-digit barrier.

Though a single increase in tier may not seem like much in the lower class ranks, it had allowed all of the Vessel of Envy's most prominent stats to go up by a thousand points, while the others went up by a few hundred.

For reference, if Valyr's DEX or INT were to go up by a thousand points, without any additional modifiers, his combat strength would go up by 20%.

On the other hand, if those thousand points went towards his less prominent stats, his capabilities in that stat's area would imdiately go up by around 50%!

After all, most of his stats still hovered around half of the entity's strongest stats, even with all the stat-boosting skills he activated.

Thankfully enough, the sa could not be said for either DEX or AGI, with both of them only a thousand points away from matching the Vessel of Envy.

Knowing that his current approach of relying on DEX would only last him for just a bit longer if he didn't change things up, the young man did not hesitate to start putting distance between him and the entity.

Affixing the blood-red spear behind his back, the young man swiftly disappeared from the Vessel of Envy's vision, only to appear around a hundred ters away from where he previously stood.

"Expand the barrier, Riekan!" Taking out his magic staff from his spatial bracelet, Valyr quickly barked out a few commands to the man assisting him, hoping to tip the scales to their favor just a little more.

"Raaagh!" Nodding in response to Valyr's request, Riekan hastily summoned a decent portion of the energy within his body, only to then infuse all of it into the barrier surrounding them.

Continuing to keep an eye on both Valyr and the Vessel of Envy, the man was eventually able to expand the barrier to cover over 400 ters in radius, which he thought was more than enough space for the forr to do what he needed.

"Buff up!" As the gears in Valyr's mind worked on overdrive, the young man continued to keep an eye on the Vessel of Envy, seeing that it was still looking around its surroundings to find his traces.

By the ti it was able to figure out what had happened, Valyr was already preparing his attack, conjuring a cloud of Pri Azure Energy above the Vessel of Envy the mont Riekan's buffs landed on his body.

Just as the dark entity was about to swiftly close the gap that existed between it and Valyr, a loud cry of a phoenix began to resound from up above, causing it to stop in its tracks as it wondered what was going on.

Not long after, a maelstrom of azure phoenixes soon began to rain from the sky above it, most of which began to head straight for the Vessel of Envy.

Naturally, this caused Valyr to feel imnse shock and confusion, wondering why the Vessel of Envy would willingly take on his attacks all of a sudden.

Fortunately for him, the answer to his question arrived not even a minute later, with the entity finally making a move the mont it only had less than 500,000 HP remaining.

However, with quantity also being a form of quantity, the number of dark phoenixes each azure phoenix had to fight eventually ballooned to a number it couldn't withstand, causing the cloud up above to disappear on its own as it quickly ran out of energy.

"…" Briefly staring at the spot where the cloud of Pri Azure Energy used to be, the Vessel of Envy soon shifted its gaze back at Valyr, its neutral face giving the young man the feeling that the entity was mocking its efforts.

"[Four Paths Azure Magic Arts]…" Though, with the scenario just now giving him an idea on what he needed to do to defeat the Vessel of Envy, Valyr ignored the entity's gaze, instead focusing all of his attention on casting yet another spell.

Imbuing the spell with the elent of Earth, Valyr watched as the Vessel of Envy stood frozen in place as a great amount of Pri Azure Energy began to surround it.

Then, within a matter of seconds, the energy wrapped around the entity in the form of a cocoon, only to then absorb even more energy from the surroundings as it took on a shade that constantly shifted between dark blue and brown.

Eventually, after absorbing enough energy from the surroundings, the cocoon exploded with as much might it could muster, destroying a great portion of the buildings that made up the Caelio clan estate.

"…" Though he could not help but feel imnse heartache from having a part of his clan's history be wiped out just like that, Riekan pushed such emotions to the side for the anti as he glanced at Valyr with curiosity.

"Is it… over?"

"…I think so." Looking at the Vessel of Envy's status screen in response, Valyr soon gave Riekan a faint nod after seeing its health bar go below zero once more.
