Feeling as if he'd been in a deep sleep for a very long ti, it took a while for Valyr's consciousness to fully return to the waking world.
Though, by the ti his consciousness was fully awake, the young man was imdiately hit by a wave of confusion as he looked at his current surroundings.
"Where… am I?" Muttering these words to himself, Valyr quickly took note of the fact that he was in a place that was filled to the brim with complex machines and devices.
Aside from that, everything else seed to be made out of a white tal, faintly reminding him of the lab Vaughn used over a hundred or so thousand years ago to create the humans of Veldanyr today.
Pondering over why he was brought to this sort of place all of a sudden, the young man was soon reminded of the happenings that occurred before he fell unconscious.

"While working as I used to, I soon ca across a player that looked exactly like in my past life," murmured Valyr to himself, the gears in his mind turning as he tried his best to recall the matter. "Then, I found out that he was indeed the past ."

Just as he was trying to recall this part of his mory in greater detail, a strong feeling of death swiftly enveloped his body once more, causing Valyr to freeze up in fear and terror as he recalled experiencing the sa sensation just before he fell unconscious.
Though, not long after experiencing the ghastly sensation all over again, a set of mories began to surface on the young man's mind.

"Wait…" Taking in a few deep breaths to regain his lost composure, the mories from his past self began to occupy most of his mind, leaving Valyr no choice but to go through them one by one.
From the exact part of the mory where the two of them shook hands and felt imminent death, the mories from his past self ran in reverse, showing Valyr everything Ataraxia did before arriving at his shop.
The plans he had behind the money he earned from selling the drops he got, the experiences he'd accumulated during his first day in Greater Beyond, all of that flashed through the young man's mind in great detail.

If Valyr were to accurately describe what was going on in his mind right now, the closest description that would embody most of it would be him vividly going through mory lane, but in reverse.
In the end, the mories from his past self only stopped at the point where he gained self-awareness towards the world surrounding him, causing the young man to remain silent as he pondered over the thoughts that imdiately popped up in his mind.
"My na is Valyr yers…" said Valyr to himself at so point, feeling as if it was only right to call himself after going the mories that flashed in his mind.
"No…" Though, not long after, a feeling of conflict consud his mind, causing him to focus on the mories he accumulated throughout his current life. "I'm… Valyr Zeihardt…"

As this question escaped his mouth, Valyr intuitively knew the answer to this question already. Considering the things he'd gone through to get where he was, there was no doubt in his mind that he was both of them.
He was Valyr Zeihardt now, but he used to be Valyr yers in his past life.
However, with him having coincidentally t his past self in the world of Greater Beyond, that intuitive answer beca a bit hazy, even more so after the influx of mories from his past self entered his mind.
At that mont, he felt as if there were two people inside his body, thinking that he was both Valyr yers and Valyr Zeihardt at the sa ti.
"…It's a success." Just as he was about to mull over his thoughts as he aid to answer the question that plagued him, a young woman in white robes appeared in front of him, letting out a sigh of relief as she looked at him. "How do you feel?"
"…Are you asking ?" replied Valyr after so ti as he looked at the young woman with slight confusion.
Seeing her nod in response to his question, the young man nodded back as he bitterly smiled. "Well… I feel like utter shit right now, to be honest."
"I guess that's to be expected." Hearing Valyr's words, the young woman sported a bitter smile of her own. "After all, I did fuse the two of you as one. Sorting out the mories between the two of you will definitely take quite so ti."
"Wait… huh?" Not expecting that the question that plagued him would be answered so quickly, the young man briefly looked back at the young woman with shock and disbelief in his eyes.
Then, taking a deep breath to compose himself, he then asked her with slight caution, "So, I really am both people at the sa ti?"
"Pretty much." The young woman nodded in agreent. "Though it could be said that the two of you should be one and the sa in essence, Valyr yers is still an existence from another universe."
"Even if your mories up to that point match up, there would still be a feeling of conflict between you two, solely due to the fact that your existences are in two different universes."
"…I see," said Valyr by the ti the young woman was done, faintly nodding in understanding.
But of course, in reality, he was still confused by it all.
