"Well, I wasn't really expecting you to understand it from the get-go." Seeing that Valyr only looked to understand her words from the outside, the young woman let out a faint sigh as she shook her head.

Closing her eyes for a bit as she mulled over the best way to explain the current situation to Valyr, the young woman soon looked back at him with a slightly wry smile. "I know this will make you both curious and suspicious as to who I am, but after thinking over it for a bit, there really is no easier way to go about explaining it if I don't talk about it."

Looking at her in slight confusion at those words, Valyr's eyes imdiately widened in surprise the mont she asked him, "You co from the future, right?"

"Specifically, a future where your universe lost against to our universe in so sort of final battle, right?"

"…" Feeling as if he'd been laid bare at that very mont, the young man kept his mouth shut as he began to feel imnse fear towards the young woman in front of him.

After all, the only person who knew that he was a regressor was none other than himself. The fact that their side lost the final battle, only for him to return to a ti before Greater Beyond was open to the public was only sothing he knew.

Even if other people were to think that were sothing off about him, none of them would co to the conclusion that he was a regressor.

At most, with the knowledge he had, people would think of him as soone who was well-read, or in Vaughn's case, a reincarnator.

"…I knew this was going to happen." Seeing that Valyr continued to remain silent after she was done asking her questions, the wry smile on the young woman's face deepened as she shook her head once more.

Then again, whether or not Valyr responded to her first couple questions, the young woman had already made up her mind to tell the young man the circumstances behind his current situation for various reasons.

With that, she took in a deep breath before continuing where she left off. "Since you don't have any plans on answering my questions, I guess you can consider my next words as hypotheticals, then."

"I'm pretty sure you've already co to the conclusion that Greater Beyond isn't an ordinary ga after what you've gone through in your past life. After all, the final battle you went through wouldn't have happened if it was."

Although the young man opted not to respond to her questions, Valyr still nodded in agreent. After all, she was still going out of her way to explain his current situation to him.

"Well, to cut a long story short, the world of Greater Beyond that you've known while playing this ga is actually a separate universe from your own," said the young woman, causing Valyr's eyes to widen in disbelief yet again. "Rember the log-in process that causes you to feel sick?"

"That's actually the process of your consciousness being transported to our universe."

"Wait… huh?" Hearing those words, Valyr decided not to remain silent anymore as her explanation caused a few doubts to arise in his mind. "You're telling … that our consciousnesses are being transferred to the world of Greater Beyond whenever we log in?"

"Correct." The young woman nodded, inwardly glad that the young man in front of him stopped being silent.

"How are you doing that, then?" asked Valyr in response.

"You already know the answer to that," replied the young woman with a slight chuckle. "We use magic in order to transfer your consciousnesses here."

"Magic?" Valyr beca confused. He would've accepted the answer if Earth had so esoteric energy of its own like mana.

However, as far as he could recall, there was no such energy like that on Earth whatsoever, even up to the final battle.

With that, he asked his next question. "Are you casting it from this world, then? I'm pretty sure Earth doesn't have any energy that resembles mana in any way."

"It doesn't." The young woman nodded in agreent. "But it does have its own energy that we could convert to sothing like mana."

"As far as I could tell, it's also widespread throughout the entire planet."

"Energy…" Wondering what kind of energy the young woman was talking about, Valyr soon looked back at her with a raised eyebrow as he threw out a guess. "Are you talking about… electricity?"

"Close." The young woman let out a bit of laughter. "It's the more condensed form of it that could be converted to a rough form of mana."

"Plasma?" asked the young man.

"That one." The young woman nodded. "The entire conversion process is pretty convoluted, but to sum things up, we're able to generate enough rough mana on your side to conjure a mark that would allow us to transfer your consciousness to this universe."

"So, basically, you create an anchor from our end, then do most of the heavy lifting is on your end?"

"Correct."

"Alright." Valyr nodded, finding her explanation easier to understand than before.

However, that did not an he was going to take it at face value. "Let's say that really is the process that allows us to play the ga. As soone who's been in this world for quite so ti now, I have no doubts that it's feasible, especially with a high class rank."

"But how are you going to make believe that your words are true?" asked the young man. "You still haven't given proof that the world of Greater Beyond is a separate universe from where Earth is, after all."

"I was just about to get to that, actually," replied the young woman with a slight smile, only to then snap her fingers soon after as she conjured a spatial rift beside her.

Whoosh!

Focusing his attention on the rift she created, Valyr was imdiately left at a loss for words when he noticed that the destination on the other side of the rift was none other than a place almost everyone on Earth knew very well.

The Eiffel Tower.

Though, just as he felt an urge rise up from within to jump through the rift and return to Earth, his danger senses began to blare out in alarm all of a sudden, making him feel like he was just a few steps away from eting certain death.

Wondering where the feeling was coming from, Valyr did not take long to pinpoint that the sensation originated from none other than the rift the young woman conjured, causing a slight frown to appear on his face the mont he arrived at that answer.

"Just so you know, even I would die if I were to head to Earth without making any preparations beforehand." Closing the rift she conjured, the young woman gave Valyr a faint smile. "So, do you believe now?"

"A bit," replied Valyr with the frown still on his face. "After all, it's a bit hard to believe in sothing like that for the first ti, even more so with how grand its scope is."

"Don't worry," the young woman reassured him. "I'll go through everything step by step to make sure you thoroughly understand what I'm talking about."

"We're not lacking at all in ti, anyway."
