"…Is that a lot?"

Listening to the number Alpha gave them, Valyr's group briefly looked at each other in excitent, only for their expressions to then turn into confusion not long after.

After all, they had no fra of reference as to whether that number was enough for them to obtain most, if not all of the items available within the labyrinth.

For all they knew, each item could possibly cost at least a million Labyrinth Points at the minimum.

"Not a lot to be overwhelming, but definitely substantial for a head start," replied Alpha in return, having heard the question that left Valyr's mouth.

"To give you so context, all of the groups aside from yours are only generating 5 Labyrinth Points per minute. This is because their territory only spans an entire room."

"Now, if they were to claim another room as their territory, that number would increase to 15 points per minute," the puppet continued its explanation, prompting the gears in the minds of Valyr's group to start turning.

"Each additional room gives 5 points more than the previous room that was claid, which is why your current territory generates close to 5,000 points a minute."

Feeling like it had given Valyr's group a thorough enough explanation, as well as a good enough fra of reference on how much Labyrinth Points they were generating, Alpha proceeded to give a similar explanation on how the territory gave more points to the other groups.

After that, the puppet also gave everyone a heads-up that every enemy they killed would drop a Labyrinth Point, which unsurprisingly stoked the flas of motivation deep within the eight groups.

By the ti it was done with its explanation, a pedestal soon appeared at the center of the rooms where the eight groups spawned, causing all of them to look at it as it caught the groups' attention.

"As a bit of a motivator and incentive to make sure all of you try to claim as many rooms for your groups as possible, I'm sure you've taken notice of the pedestal that's appeared in your rooms all of a sudden."

As these words from Alpha echoed throughout the eight spawn rooms, the eight groups nodded in agreent, curious as to what the pedestal entailed.

"To sum things up, these pedestals more or less act as a middleman between and the eight groups."

"With the pedestal, you can browse all of the items that could possibly be obtained from the labyrinth with their corresponding prices attached. Naturally, as the figurative middleman, the pedestals also serve as the point where you could buy those items."

"I'm pretty sure Master added a lot of valuable items in that list, with so of them even acting as assistance during the ascension to Rank 6."

"However, since all of you are still far away from reaching that point, I'd suggest aiming for sothing else."

"Other than that… I think that's pretty much all I have to say for now."

"Best of luck in claiming as many rooms within the labyrinth as possible."

Whoosh!

With Alpha's final words serving as a catalyst of sorts, it went without saying that the seven other groups imdiately went into a frenzy, heading towards the other rooms as soon as possible in order to boost their passive point gain.

On the other hand, Valyr's group decided to refrain from claiming more rooms for the anti, considering that the past half hour had given them a massive lead over the other groups.

'It's also a good opportunity to take a look at what the labyrinth can give us,' thought the young man to himself, doing so math in his head to compute the theoretical maximum number of points they could get from the labyrinth.

"If each succeeding room gives 5 more points than the previous one, then claiming all 512 rooms within the labyrinth would allow us to obtain…"

"Around 650,000 Labyrinth Points per minute," replied ria, prompting Valyr and the others to look at her in surprise.

"Damn. That much?" asked Thomas in return, to which ria nodded in agreent.

"Although Alpha's explanation was slightly confusing, the 44th room we claim would increase our point gain by 220 points," she explained, giving everyone a better idea as to how she got to that figure.

"If one additional room alone already gives us 200 points, then what if we claim our 200th room? That one room alone would instantly boost our point gain by a thousand points per minute."

"…I see." Having been listening to ria's explanation all this ti, Lucques' eyes eventually glead in understanding.

"That's… the sum of an arithtic series, right?"

"Exactly." ria nodded in return, smiling at her younger sibling.

"I guess I shouldn't be surprised the two of you could easily compute that number," said Valyr after that with a slightly wry smile. "After all, back when we used to raid dungeons on the daily, you guys were the ones we relied on for numbers."

"Seriously." Thomas and Alisa nodded in agreent. "You two really should've gone to college or sothing."

"Let's save that topic for another ti." Not wanting their conversation to go off-topic, Valyr brought everyone's attention back to the matter at hand. "For now, let's focus on the labyrinth."

"With each room containing 100 enemies each, we've amassed a total of 4,300 Labyrinth Points in the past 30 minutes."

"Add in the points we'll obtain from the labyrinth every minute, we'll have around 9,000 Labyrinth Points soon enough."

"Now… is there sothing we can buy with that much points?" As those words left Valyr's mouth, he went ahead and moved closer to the pedestal.

Glancing at it for a bit, he soon placed one of his hands on it, revealing a screen that was filled to the brim with images of various items.

Whoosh!

"…Damn." Looking through the list of items that had been made available to them, Valyr's eyes imdiately widened in surprise as he recognized most of them to be precious materials in his past life.

However, even the items that weren't that valuable in comparison had great use in various fields.

'To think so of the items I was planning to find after becoming a Myth was actually available here.'

As this thought ca to mind, the young man continued to scroll through the catalog of items, wondering if there were even more valuable items than the ones he'd already seen.

However, rather than co across an incredibly valuable item on the list, Valyr instead took notice of a peculiar item.

"Hmm?"
