An item made by the great Master of the Great Veldanyr Labyrinth for the sole purpose of improving general point gain and point gain stability.
Once this item is consud, a bundle of roots shall form around the base of the pedestal, increasing the strength gained by the ford boss monster by 20% per room.
This root also increases the base amount of points earned per room by 1 point each (1st room earns 6 points, 2nd room earns 12 points, etc.).
Cost: 5,000 Labyrinth Points

"…Huh." Reading through the description of the item he ca across, Valyr raised his eyebrow in curiosity at first, only for his eyes to eventually widen in excitent by the ti he was done with it.
Although the oath his friend swore under limited the amount of information they could tell him about the labyrinth, that didn't stop them from finding loopholes to get around the oath, relying on context clues and hints to tell the young man what he needed to know.
Unsurprisingly, almost all of Valyr's friends told him about the items they got from the labyrinth, with all of them hinting that the item they got was enough to send a large group of peak Rank 5 players into a frenzy over it.
However, only a few of them went a bit further than the others, informing Valyr in a roundabout way regarding the strategies and items they used to increase their haul from the labyrinth as soon as possible.
'I didn't fully get what they were hinting at, but I at least understood that they wanted to keep an eye out for three items on the list,' thought Valyr to himself as he took the ti to rummage through his past mories.
'Root… star… and plate, if I rember correctly.'
"I guess this would be the root, then," murmured the young man, briefly taking a glance at the amount of Labyrinth Points they currently had through the pedestal.
Seeing that it was over 9,000 Labyrinth Points like he previously ntioned, he went ahead and bought the root without hesitation, which caused the pedestal to faintly glow in response.
Whoosh!
Just as everyone in the group turned to look at what was going on, the glow surrounding the pedestal began to intensify, only to then condense above it and manifest into a dark root-like item.
"What's that?" Seeing Valyr grab the root that manifested without hesitation, Thomas looked at both the young man and the item with curiosity.
"It's called [First Root of the Great Labyrinth]," replied the young man, sending the description of the item he saw through the pedestal to the guild chat.
Ding!
"This…" Reading through the ssage everyone in the guild received, Thomas eventually understood why Valyr decided to purchase it, looking at the root with moderate surprise.
As for the other guild mbers that received the ssage, though so of them also reacted in surprise, most of them instead reacted with great excitent.
After all, with the root in their hands, they'd be able to gain even more Labyrinth Points compared to the others, right?
"…There we go." Having obtained a quick introduction on how to use the item the mont he touched it, Valyr went ahead and infused a bit of energy into the root, causing the root to move closer towards the base of the pedestal.
Then, taking on the form of an amorphous blob, the root soon covered the entire base, only to then solidify into a massive bundle of dark roots.
Swoosh!
At the very mont those bundle of roots ford around the pedestal's base, everyone in the group imdiately felt as if the inexplicable connection between the rooms they claid had beco significantly stronger than before.
Aside from that, they also felt as if an energy of sorts was beginning to course throughout their rooms, with all of it gradually converging towards the pedestal.
"I've got to say… I'm quite surprised you were to able to find that within the long list so quickly." Just as Valyr was planning to talk about their next steps with the entire group, Alpha's voice began to resound throughout their main room all of a sudden.
"You did read the item's description, right?"
"I did." Valyr nodded, looking in the direction of where he felt the puppet's presence. "According to the description, there's more of it on the list?"
"To be more specific, there's four more roots on the list," replied Alpha, giving the young man a figurative nod. "However, those items would only beco visible once the first root is bought, which you've done."
"Of course, the roots aren't the only thing on the list that have an effect on the labyrinth." The puppet let out a slight chuckle. "From what I could recall, Master put in 8 more item sets on the list that have a similar effect to the root."
"That many?" asked Valyr in return, now beginning to feel a bit thankful for the information his friends shared with him.
"Yep." Alpha figuratively nodded once more. "Just like the root, each set encompasses five items."
"I wonder if your group will be able to find all of them?"
Letting out a bit of laughter after its parting words, the puppet's presence soon disappeared from their room, prompting everyone to look at each other with a solemn expression.
"So… what do we do now?" asked Thomas after everything settled down, looking at Valyr once more with curiosity.
"What else?" Hearing those words, the young man swept his gaze over everyone before letting out a slight chuckle. "We're going to obtain those items, of course."
"Since Alpha told us about it, then I'm sure there's to be a good reason why it wants us to find all of it."
"Everyone, rest ti's over!" Saying those words, the young man flared his aura in its entirety, prompting everyone to arrange into the three groups from earlier.
"At this point, I don't need to tell you what you need to do."
"Focus on claiming as many rooms as possible."
Valyr grinned.
"However, if those other groups decide to get in our way…"
"Don't show any rcy."
