"Two…"

"Two percent…"

To no surprise, the duo were left at a loss for words as they heard the figure that ca out of her mouth.

Even Marcus was left stunned in disbelief by her words, the expression on his face going through a various number of emotions after that.

Eventually, the man's expression settled on apology as he looked at her as if he'd made the greatest mistake in his life.

"Why didn't you tell the titles I gave you only offered that much?" he asked, feeling his heart slowly crumple up from the guilt he felt. "I know I gave you the title during the worst possible ti, but…"

"You could've just asked about it, you know?"

Seeing the man in front of him beat himself up for sothing even she didn't realize was happening, a twinge of guilt also passed through Mystia as she did not hesitate to reassure him.

"You did nothing wrong, Marcus," she said to him with a faint shake of her head.

"We just didn't know any better."

"…"

For a while after that, the entire plane remained silent as both Marcus and Mystia seed to exchange a series of thoughts through their gazes.

'Should we… give them so space?' Noticing what was happening between the two of them, Ataraxia could not help but take a few steps back as he sent his other self a ssage.

'I feel like we should,' said Valyr in return, prompting the two to put a bit more distance between them and the duo as they silently waited for the current situation to end.

Thankfully, the silence surrounding the two only lasted for a couple more minutes after that as both Mystia and Marcus looked at each other with newfound understanding written all over their faces.

"…I should really thank the two of you for bringing that to notice." Spending a bit of ti to collect his thoughts, Marcus moved closer to the duo as he smiled at them with gratitude.

"Who knows when I'd realize it if you didn't?"

"It's just a small matter," said Valyr in response, waving his hands in slight nonchalance whilst Ataraxia nodded in agreent.

"In any case…"

Shifting his attention back to Mystia after that, he went ahead and asked her the question that was still unanswered.

"How much did your titles improve, Miss Mystia?"

"About 13% on average," answered the woman in question with a slight smile as she moved closer to the trio.

"Of course, that's compared to the titles your student has."

Valyr could not help but whistle in acknowledgnt after that.

"…I suppose we should take our leave, then," said Mystia in return, causing both Valyr and Ataraxia to briefly freeze up as the forr gave Marcus a slight glance.

"Though I did bring Ataraxia here to the Mystic Plane to have him beco a part of it, the two actually ca to see to make use of the ltierre Killing Grounds at first."

"Is that so?" Marcus nodded in understanding. "Go on, then. The three of you could co to the Mystic Plane at any ti you want, after all."

"…Wait a second." Just as Mystia was about to bid farewell to Marcus in the duo's stead, Valyr stopped the conversation from going any further as he gave the forr a knowing glance.

"Do you… still have plans in the Mystic Plane?" Taking note of the look she received, the gears in Mystia's brain spun for a bit as she understood what the young man was trying to tell her.

"Ataraxia doesn't," answered Valyr without hesitation, only to then point at himself soon after.

"But I do."

As those words left his mouth, Ataraxia gave his other self a brief look of confusion before proceeding to have a conversation with him through their connection.

By the ti their conversation was done, the young man began to look at his other self with understanding, realizing that his other self was just trying to make full use of their current situation.

"And that would be…?" While that was happening, Marcus looked at Valyr with a raised eyebrow.

Smiling in response to the look he received, the latter replied, "Well, I just thought of it after returning to the Mystic Plane… but now's a good opportunity for to upgrade my subclass."

Indeed.

Considering that he was already planning to upgrade his second subclass in preparation for their eventual ascension to the Myth level, Valyr thought that now was a good opportunity as any other ti for him to do so.

After all, upgrading his second subclass to a higher rarity only brought him benefits, whether it be in the form of greater stats or powerful skills related to the field of alchemy.

Though, with how Ataraxia's inclusion had transford the Mystic Plane into a middle concept plane…

Perhaps there might be more benefits than just that.

"…Ah." Briefly looking at Valyr in confusion as those words left his mouth, Mystia eventually realized what he was trying to say as she gave him a look of understanding. "Your second subclass."

"Yes." Valyr nodded.

"…Though the na of the subclass has the word 'Mystic' in it, most of the tasks you need to complete to evolve it actually focus more on the 'Alchemist' part than the 'Mystic' part," said the woman after giving it a bit of thought.

"You could take a look at the requirents yourself if you're skeptical of my claims."

Hearing those words, the young man went ahead and did just that, commanding the system to bring up the quests he needed to complete to push [Mystic Rune Alchemist] to the next rarity.

Ding!

"They're…"

"Simpler than you thought?"

Hearing Mystia finish the sentence he was about to say, Valyr paused for a bit before nodding in agreent.

"Of course they are," said the forr in return, giving the young man a slight smile before dropping a statent that instantly left the latter at an utter loss for words.

"After all, I was the one who made sure the quests were that simple."
