"…"

"…Huh?"

Pausing for a bit as he heard the words that left Mystia's mouth, Valyr was soon stunned into complete silence as he registered and processed those sa words in his mind.

Spending a bit of ti to try and wrap his head around the thought after that, the young man eventually took in a deep breath as he asked her what he thought was the only logical question to ask in return.

"What… do you an by that?"

"What do you an what do I an?" The woman gave him a slight look of confusion.

"The quest part," replied Valyr as he inwardly took in a deep breath to compose himself. "What did you an when you said you made sure the quests were simple?"

"It ans what I literally said, though?" As she responded to his question, the confusion on Mystia's face deepened, not understanding why the forr had given her that kind of reaction.

Trying his best to suppress the various other questions that lingered in his mind at that mont, the young man took in yet another deep breath before letting out a long exhale.

Feeling like he had regained control over his emotions again, Valyr looked at Mystia with a calm expression for a brief mont as the gears in his mind began to turn.

Pondering over the question he wanted to ask her next, the young man initially thought that the best plan of action was to slowly steer the topic of the conversation towards the answer that he wished to hear from her.

Though, knowing that doing so would only make the entire thing a pain in the ass for both him and Mystia, the young man eventually decided on the exact opposite, choosing to be blunt instead.

"Since you ntioned that you were the one who designed the quests for the subclass, would I be correct in saying that you designed the entire subclass, Miss Mystia?"

"Well…"

Expecting there to be a couple more questions from Valyr before receiving the big one, the woman in question was briefly caught off guard as she contemplated on what kind of answer she should give the young man.

Fortunately, it did not take long for her to make up her mind.

Looking back at the young man with a soft smile, the woman faintly nodded as she answered, "Yes… and no."

Sensing that there was more to the answer than ets the eye, Valyr raised his eyebrow in curiosity. "How so?"

"For the most part, you could say that I'm the creator of the [Mystic Rune Alchemist] subclass," said Mystia in response as she began to delve deeper into the matter.

"At the start, I was just trying to incorporate a bit of Mystic Energy into the general concoction process, getting the feeling that the energy that morphed itself according to my thoughts would be of great help in improving the efficacy of my concoctions."

"Yet, just as I had successfully created my first batch of potions with the help of Mystic Energy, I was told that I had created a brand new subclass never seen before throughout the universe," she continued, giving Valyr and the others enough ti to process her words.

"Although the subclass I created at the ti wasn't anywhere near as useful as the subclass you currently own, it served as the basic foundation of the subclass, allowing to transform it into the subclass you know today."

After that, Mystia then proceeded to explain the reasoning behind why she said yes and no to the question, informing Valyr that the main reason why the subclass had beco what it was in the first place was all thanks to the rune Marcus had shared with her.

Though what the man had given her was only a single piece of help in the grand path that made up the creation of the current subclass, she understood that the subclass wouldn't be as great as it was today if not for the contribution the man made.

"…I see." By the ti Mystia was done with her explanation, Valyr continued to remain silent, the gears in his mind turning as he processed and organized the information she shared with him.

As for Ataraxia, the gears in his mind also began to turn after he was done listening to his explanation.

Though, unlike Valyr, the thoughts he had on the matter slightly veered off from the train of thought his other self had.

Oblivious to the thoughts and ideas that were currently bubbling in the duo's minds, the woman gave the two a slight smile as she asked, "Does that answer your question?"

"Definitely." Valyr nodded, with Ataraxia nodding in agreent not long after.

"Though… I do have another question."

"What is it?"

"How far can I upgrade [Mystic Rune Alchemist]?" the young man asked, only to then clarify himself soon after. "By upgrade, I ant the rarity of the subclass itself."

"I… don't know, actually." Rubbing her chin in contemplation, Mystia faintly shook her head as she gave him an answer. "Though, I'm pretty sure it would be able to reach the Rare grade at the very least."

"If only I knew how high of a rarity 'Origin' actually was…" she muttered after that, shaking her head once more as she felt that their conversation on the matter was finally over.

As for Valyr, after hearing the last few words that softly left the forr's mouth, the young man felt as if his entire world view was being turned upside down at that very mont.

Although he had only co across the term a couple of tis in the past, the young man understood that anything that had to do with the word 'Origin' were considered greatly important to the universe.

After all, aside from fulfilling a specific set of criteria that only the universe knew, the universe would only give sothing the designation of an Origin if the universe itself felt that its existence would bring great change.

In other words… the universe considered the [Mystic Rune Alchemist] subclass as sothing that would bring great change.

"…Guess the only way to find out is to upgrade it as much as possible, then," said the young man after giving her words a bit more thought.

Though he initially thought of the task as sothing he would eventually have to do in preparation for his ascension, now that he had an idea of what it entailed, Valyr began to place more importance towards his second subclass.

After all, with its rarity unknown, who knows what the subclass might offer him in the future?
