Huo Yi was driving, and drove all the way to a rundown motel in front of Chawen Street.
Li Beijue’s Lincoln was quite eye-catching; even those unfamiliar with luxury cars could tell it was one at a glance due to its sleek lines.
Huo Yi jogged to open the car door for her, "Miss Chi, take it slow."
Just as Chi Enen got out of the car, a middle-aged woman carrying a basin flashed a hint of panic on her face and tried to run away with her belongings.
Chi Enen reacted swiftly, "Butler Huo, stop her!"
Huo Yi, as Li Beijue’s right-hand man, found it easy to stop the woman, blocking her path in just a few swift steps.
The panicked woman shoved him, "What do you want? Why are you stopping ? Let go!"
Chi Enen had already approached her and asked calmly, "You’re Liu Tingting’s mother, right?"
The ntion of Liu Tingting’s na made the woman’s face turn even paler, devoid of any blood, her eyes darting nervously, but her mouth denied it imdiately, "I don’t know who you’re talking about, and I’m not the person you’re looking for."
Chi Enen ignored her denial, her clear and bright eyes looking at her, pressing her lips slightly, "Are you sure you’re not? Your daughter should be missing, shouldn’t you want to find her?"
"How do you know she’s missing?" the woman blurted out, realizing too late that she had just admitted her identity, showing a guilty look on her face.
But her face soon filled with anxiety, "Can you help find her?"
Her daughter Tingting told her that if a young and wealthy-looking woman ca looking for her, she must not admit it.
But Tingting had been missing for two days, without any news, and her mobile phone was turned off, making her very anxious.
Chi Enen had already confird her suspicion; the female waitress was indeed taken away.
She pressed her lips again, looking at the woman full of hope, and said, "I can help find her, but you must think carefully about who might have taken her."
The woman’s eyebrows knitted together, as if pondering for a long ti, then shook her head, "I don’t know, Tingting never ntioned anyone. But before she left, she told if she didn’t return, there was so locator thing that could find her, but she instructed not to look for her when I’m alone. I don’t know how to use that locator thing. I was thinking if she doesn’t call back by tomorrow, I’ll call the police."
"A locator thing? A tracker?" Chi Enen just finished speaking.
The woman imdiately said, "Yes, yes! That’s what Tingting ntioned! But I don’t know how to use it."
Chi Enen didn’t expect the female waitress to have left such a backup plan; likely, the person who took her didn’t expect it either.
"I know how to use it, can you show it to ?"
The woman glanced at Chi Enen’s eyes, gritted her teeth, and put down the basin, "Wait here, I’ll get it for you!"
Tingting had asked her not to pay attention to people who ca looking for her, but after living for decades, she could tell what kind of people they were.
The person who ca looking didn’t seem to be a bad person, at least judging by the eyes.
She had to give it a try!
The woman quickly brought out a device the size of a mobile phone, and Chi Enen glanced at it; sure enough, it was a locator.
She was not familiar with the terrain of Country W, so she could only ask Huo Yi, "Butler Huo, what place is this?"
"Hold on, let check." Huo Yi took the device, frowned and looked at it, then said, "It should be in the Nancheng area."
