Jun Ruyi was terribly frustrated.

Was she here to celebrate soone’s birthday or her own wedding?

Jun Ruyi’s face was turning black with rage.
She only thought that the elders liked liveliness, so wearing sothing bright was right, and as the eldest daughter of the President Mansion, she certainly could carry off a dragon and phoenix robe.
However, at this mont, seeing Qin Xin in a simple pearl white and light purple dress standing harmoniously next to Mrs. Nalan in deep purple, like a mother-daughter pair, both exquisite and not too showy, made her furious: That scheming vixen Qin Xin dressed way too cunningly!
The mont she entered, she lost face because of Qin Xin, and Jun Ruyi was fuming as she walked into the main hall.
Mrs. Nalan, feeling sorry that Qin Xin was wearing so little yet kept her company at the entrance, said: "Xinxin, you should go inside and rest, have sothing to eat first."
Even though she was inviting others in, her tone with Qin Xin was completely different compared to Jun Ruyi.

This made all the guests and relatives inwardly surprised.
Mrs. Nalan’s attitude toward Miss Qin was truly different.
Jun Ruyi brought so many gifts, obviously very expensive.
Yet, Mrs. Nalan didn’t even bother to look at them.
Miss Qin was empty-handed, without any gifts, yet Mrs. Nalan personally held her hand and escorted her to greet guests at the door, almost like she was accompanying her own daughter.

The relatives were utterly baffled: Mrs. Nalan did not announce Miss Qin’s identity, yet was so close to her, what’s going on?
